Center School (Omaha)

The Gallagher Building is a historic commercial building located in Downtown Omaha, Nebraska. It was completed in 1888 in the Late Victorian style of architecture.

The former St. Matthias' Episcopal Church, now known as the Dietz United Methodist Church, is a historic church in Omaha, Nebraska. It was built in 1888 for the Episcopal Church, and it was designed in the Romanesque Revival and Gothic Revival styles by architect John H.W. Hawkins. It was acquired by the United Methodist Church in 1920. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since November 23, 1980.

Grace University was a private Christian university in Omaha, Nebraska. The university included undergraduate programs and the Grace University College of Professional and Graduate Studies. The university ceased all academic operations in May 2018.

The Joel N. Cornish House is located in South Omaha, Nebraska. The 1886 construction is considered an "excellent example of the French Second Empire style." The house was converted into apartments after the Cornish family moved out in 1911.

Old Gold Coast is the name of a historic district in south Omaha, Nebraska. With South 10th Street as the central artery, the area was home to neighborhoods such as Little Italy and Forest Hill. The area is referred to as "old" because it was replaced in prominence in the late 19th century when a new district usurped its importance. This area south of downtown was generally bounded by Leavenworth Street on the north, Bancroft Street on the south, the Missouri River on the east, and South 16th Street on the west.

The Sokol Auditorium is located at 2234 South 13th Street in the Little Bohemia neighborhood of South Omaha, Nebraska. It is a local icon for its historical context, as well as modern musical performances and gymnastics. It has a maximum capacity of 1,500. Located below the auditorium is the Sokol Underground, where numerous concert promoters such as Hunt Industries host many rock and hip hop concerts.

The Bishop Worthington Residence was built at 1240 South 10th Street in Omaha, Nebraska in 1885. The personal home of Bishop George Worthington of the Episcopal Church, the Worthington Mansion was a place of high social and religious importance during the pioneer era of Omaha history. During its history, the mansion also served as the second Presbyterian Hospital and as the White House Apartments.

St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church is a historic Catholic church building in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. It was formerly the cathedral of the Diocese of Omaha and was named St. Philomena's Cathedral at that time. The church and the rectory are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and are also Omaha Landmarks under the St. Philomena name.

The Bohemian Cafe was located at 1406 South 13th Street in the historic Little Bohemia neighborhood of Omaha, Nebraska. Established in 1924, the cafe sat next to the Prague Hotel. Employees dressed in traditional Czech outfits since its early years, and a small cocktail lounge called the Bohemian Girl was adjoined to the restaurant; the interior decoration, similar to the rest of the building, included hand-painted folk-art pictures. Omaha native Conor Oberst, the lead singer of the rock act Bright Eyes, had been seen drinking at the bar before performing at the nearby Sokol Auditorium.

Little Bohemia, or Bohemian Town, is a historic neighborhood in Omaha, Nebraska. Starting in the 1880s, Czech immigrants settled in this highly concentrated area, also called "Praha" (Prague) or "Bohemian Town", bounded by South 10th Street on the east, South 16th Street on the west, Pierce Street on the north, and Martha Street on the south, with a commercial area went along South 13th and South 14th Streets, centered on William Street. It was located south of downtown, and directly west of Little Italy. A portion of the neighborhood along South 13th Street was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.

The G.C. Moses Block is a row of several historic buildings located at 1234-1244 South 13th Street in Downtown Omaha, Nebraska. The two-story building was completed in 1887 by Mendelssohn & Lawrie and Simonds & Linesay, in the Late Victorian style of architecture. It was built to be used as stores and flats (apartments). It is 125 by 60 feet (38 m × 18 m) in plan with bronze bay windows projecting out over the sidewalk on 13th St.

The Prague Hotel is located at 1402 South 13th Street on the southwest corner of South 13th and William Streets in the heart of the Little Bohemia neighborhood of Omaha, Nebraska. Designed by Joseph Guth and built in 1898, this building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
