The Bradford Grand Mosque, or Al-Jamia Suffa-Tul-Islam Grand Mosque, is the largest mosque in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England.It was founded in 1983, building began in 2002 and it opened in 2012 or 2014. It can house 8,000 worshippers and is one of the largest mosques in the United Kingdom. The mosque was built on a filled in railway cutting which was part of the Bradford "Alpine" railway which ran through the Little Horton area of Bradford. At a cost of more than £4 million, the construction of the mosque was paid with local donations. In 2019, construction of additional buildings began.The Telegraph & Argus called it "one of the most architecturally impressive religious buildings in the city."In November 2018 the mosque arranged a march for peace in memory of the prophet Muhammad. In March 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, a funeral with around 600 people held at the mosque was connected to an outbreak of COVID-19.

Horton Park railway station was a railway station on the Queensbury-Bradford section of the Queensbury Lines which ran between Bradford, Keighley and Halifax via Queensbury. The station was built near to the Bradford Park Avenue football ground. It opened for passengers in 1880 closed for regular passenger trains in 1952 but remained open to special trains on match days until 1955. The station had a large goods yard which kept it open like the City Road Goods Branch until August 1972 when the yards and branch closed and the tracks were lifted. The station remained in place along with its concrete sign until 2005 when the station was demolished to make way for a carpark for the new Al-Jamia Suffa-Tul-Islam Grand Mosque.

Trident is a civil parish in the City of Bradford in West Yorkshire, England, created in 2009. The population of the civil parish as at the 2011 Census was 20,281.

Little Horton (population 17,368 - 2001 UK census) is a ward in the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council in the county of West Yorkshire, England, named after the de Horton family, who were once Lords of the Manor. The population at the 2011 Census was 21,547.As well as the area of Little Horton, the electoral ward includes the area of West Bowling, Marshfields and the Canterbury housing estate.

Great Horton Road was a cricket ground in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England on which Yorkshire County Cricket Club held first class matches from 1863 to 1874. The ground hosted seven County Championship and one other first class match during that time. That match saw Yorkshire pitted against a United South of England XI with the home team winning by 26 runs despite having been bowled out for 64 in their own first innings when Allen Hill and George Ulyett bowled the visitors out for 39 when chasing just 65 to win. In the last first class match played at the venue, a Roses Match in 1874, William McIntyre took 8 for 35 for Lancashire in their innings victory. The ground was sold for development and is currently covered by housing on Pemberton Drive and the eastern halves of Sherborne Road and Merton Road.

Reconciliation (originally named Reunion) is a sculpture by Josefina de Vasconcellos. Originally created in 1977 and entitled Reunion, it depicted a man and woman embracing each other ]. In May 1998 it was presented to University of Bradford as a memorial to the University's first Vice-Chancellor Professor Ted Edwards. De Vasconcellos said: "The sculpture was originally conceived in the aftermath of the War. Europe was in shock, people were stunned. I read in a newspaper about a woman who crossed Europe on foot to find her husband, and I was so moved that I made the sculpture. Then I thought that it wasn't only about the reunion of two people but hopefully a reunion of nations which had been fighting." Later it was taken for repairs to the sculptor's workshop, and renamed Reconciliation upon the request of the Peace Studies Department of the University. It was unveiled for the second time, under the new name, on de Vasconcellos 90th birthday, October 26, 1994. In 1995 (to mark the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II) bronze casts of this sculpture (as Reconciliation) were placed in the ruins of Coventry Cathedral and in the Hiroshima Peace Park in Japan. An additional cast can be found in the Stormont Estate in Belfast. To mark the opening of the rebuilt German Reichstag (parliament building) in 1999, another cast was placed as part of the Berlin Wall memorial.

St Luke's Hospital is an NHS hospital in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. It is situated on Little Horton Lane to the south-west of Bradford city centre. The hospital is managed by Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The main accommodation block is a grade II listed building.

The Bradford Burns Unit is a burns research facility set up at University of Bradford following the Bradford fire disaster on 11 May 1985. The fire disaster at Valley Parade killed 56 people and injured more than 250.

The University of Bradford is a public research university located in the city of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. A plate glass university, it received its royal charter in 1966, making it the 40th university to be created in Britain, but can trace its origins back to the establishment of the industrial West Yorkshire town's Mechanics Institute in 1832. The student population includes 7,480 undergraduate and 2,290 postgraduate students. Mature students make up around a third of the undergraduate community. A total of 22% of students are foreign and come from over 110 countries. There were 14,406 applications to the university through UCAS in 2010, of which 3,421 were accepted.It was the first British university to establish a Department of Peace Studies in 1973, which is currently the world's largest university centre for the study of peace and conflict.

Manchester Road railway station is a closed station in the city of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England. The station opened in 1878 but closed to passengers in 1915. The goods yard remained open until 1963. The station was bypassed by a single line after 1963 to serve the City Road Goods Branch. After closure of the line, the site has been overbuilt with a Royal Mail sorting office.A pub remains nearby, called the Station Hotel.
