Four Corners is a census-designated place (CDP) within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of Houston in Fort Bend County, Texas, United States. The population was 12,103 at the 2020 census, up from 2,954 at the 2000 census.

George Bush High School is a public high school located in the Mission Bend census designated place and in unincorporated Fort Bend County, Texas, serving students in grades 9-12. The school has a "Richmond, Texas" postal address but is not in the Richmond city limits. The school is part of the Fort Bend Independent School District and serves several areas of unincorporated Fort Bend County, including Mission Bend. The high school is named after the forty-first president of the United States, George H. W. Bush, who attended the school's inauguration. The school colors are orange, white, and navy blue. The average annual enrollment is approximately 2,200 students. George Bush High School was established in 2001 in order to help educate the increasing population of Richmond, Texas. George Bush is a member of the University Interscholastic League and offers a variety of sports programs. Athletic teams compete in the 5A division and are known as the "Bush Broncos". Extracurricular activities are also offered in the form of performing arts, school publications, and clubs. Notable alumni of the school include NFL lineman Russell Okung and Emmanuel Ogbah, and NBA player Kelly Oubre Jr. The school's campus borders the Fort Bend County/Harris County line.

Alief Kerr High School is an Alief ISD public school located in the Alief community, and in the limited purpose city limits of Houston, Texas, United States. The school is a part of the Alief Independent School District and serves grades 9 through 12. Kerr High School was awarded the Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence by the United States Department of Education, the highest award an American school can receive, during the 2010–11 school year. The school also received the award in 2016, one of only 26 Texas schools to receive the award. The school also received the award in 2022. It is located in the International District.

Alief Taylor High School is a public high school in the Alief Independent School District. It is located in an unincorporated area in the Alief community of Harris County, near Houston. Opened in 2001, Alief Taylor is the newest high school in the district. It is named after Edward "Doc" Taylor, who taught AP American History at Alief Hastings High School. According to the Texas Education Agency, Taylor covers grades 9-12 and has 500 or more students in each grade level. When it opened in the fall of 2001, it had only freshmen and sophomores. During the 2002–2003 school year the 11th grade was added. Taylor added its first 12th grade class during the 2003–2004 school year. Alief Taylor is one of two schools in Alief ISD that does not include a Ninth Grade Center, a separate building for ninth grade students. The other is Kerr High School. Alief Taylor was originally referred to as "High School No. 4."It is located in the International District.In 2019, Taylor received a C grade from the Texas Education Agency.

Clodine ( KLOH-deen) is an unincorporated community in Fort Bend County, Texas, United States. According to the Handbook of Texas, the community had a population of 31 in 1990. It is located in the Greater Houston metro area.

Howellville or Howell is an unincorporated community in Harris County, Texas, United States, which has been absorbed by Greater Houston. The site is located at the intersection of Alief Clodine Road and Sugar Land Howell Road on the west side of Houston, approximately halfway between the original settlements of Clodine and Alief. There are no road signs identifying the place. The community began as a stop on a railroad line that no longer exists.

West Oaks Mall is a regional shopping mall located in the Alief area of the west side of Houston, Texas, USA, that opened in 1984. With a trade area serving far western parts of Houston including a business clientele in the Energy Corridor and suburban neighborhoods west of George Bush Park in the Greater Katy and Fulshear areas, the mall is located at Texas State Highway 6 and Westheimer Road and can easily be accessed south on Highway 6 via Interstate 10. The anchors are Dillard's Clearance Center, Crazy Boss, The Outlet at West Oaks, and Fortis College. There are 2 vacant anchors, formerly housing Sears and Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill. Pacific Retail Capital Partners owns the mall as a joint venture with Square Mile Capital Management, and is managed by PRCP Management.

George Bush Park is a county park in Houston, Texas, United States, located on the far west side of the city. Situated entirely within Barker Reservoir, a large flood control structure, the park covers 7,800 acres (32 km2), most of which is undeveloped forest used for the storage of floodwater. A variety of public recreation facilities are located along Westheimer Parkway, which bisects the park, including soccer and baseball field complexes, a shooting range, and a dog park. Named in honor of former Houston-area U.S. Representative and President George H. W. Bush, the park was known as Cullen–Barker Park until 1997.

Townewest is an unincorporated area in Fort Bend County, Texas, United States. As Town West, it is a former census-designated place, active as of the 1990 U.S. Census. By the 2000 U.S. Census, it was no longer listed.It was developed by the company U.S. Homes circa 1979. It includes a clubhouse.

The Sugar Land Quan Âm is a cast concrete statue in Chùa Việt Nam (English: Vietnamese Buddhist Center) in Sugar Land, Texas, just outside of Houston. The sculpture depicts the bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara in female form standing on a lotus pedestal. She may also be commonly known by her Chinese name Guanyin. It was created by sculptor Mai Chi Kim, who wanted to work on a bigger project after the temple had commissioned several smaller statues from her. With the base included, the statue stands at 72 feet tall, making it one of the tallest statues in the United States, and looks over a large pond beside an ornate red bridge. It held the claim to being the largest Buddhist statue in the Western Hemisphere, until 2021 when Brazil completed construction of the second tallest Buddha statue in the world. It is the sixth tallest statue in the United States as of 2021. Quan Am is one of the most highly revered bodhisattvas in Vietnam and is called by many epithets, including 'Mother of Buddhas' and 'Goddess of Compassion'.

Aliana is a 2,300-acre (931 ha) planned community in unincorporated Fort Bend County, Texas, United States. It consists of 13 subdivisions and is within the Greater Houston area. All properties in Aliana have a Richmond address. The community is completely served by Fort Bend Independent School District and is located along Grand Parkway.
