Karlebo Kommune

Hegnsholt is a country house an estate located at Grønholt, between Fredensborg and Hillerød, North Zealand, some 40 km north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The first main building on the estate was built in 1815 to designs by Christian Frederik Hansen but it was extended in 1904 and adapted by the architect Louis Hygom in 1920 for the businessman William Bendix. The estate is now owned by Cabinn Hotels-owner Niels Fennet. The adjacent Grønholt Airfield was built on part of the land in 1940.

The Special Support and Reconnaissance Company (Danish: Særlig Støtte- og Rekognosceringskompagni), until 1 January 2007 known as the Patrol Company Army Operational Command (Danish: Patruljekompagniet) is the only remaining Long Range Surveillance Company (LRSC) / Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol (LRRP) Coy) in the Danish Armed Forces. The unit is part of the Danish Home Guard, and the only one of its kind, working directly for the Danish Army and the only unit in Danish Armed Forces that uses a woven fabric for its cap badge. Like with the other Danish SOFs, the accepted soldiers have one year probation, before they get their beret with the SSR insignia, and can be considered full members.

Tokkekøb Hegn is a forest located north of Blovstrød and east of Lillerød in Allerød Municipality, North Zealand, some 20 km north of central Copenhagen, Denmark. It adjoins Store Dyrehave to the north, although an open landscape surrounding the village of Kirkelte partly separates the two forests. To the south it adjoins the Høvelte-Sandholm military trainings grounds.

Center Sandholm, or Sandholm, is a public institution for asylum seekers in Denmark. It is located in Sandholm, Blovstrød, Allerød Kommune. Children and young people under 18 who have fled alone are received at Center Gribskov. It is a former military barracks and the largest reception center for asylum seekers in Denmark. The center's daily operations are run by the Danish Red Cross. It also serves as both a receiving and departure center, for newly arrived asylum seekers, and asylum seekers who have been rejected; however, this later group will eventually be moved over to the Sjælsmark deportation camp. Separated from the Red Cross facility, Sandholm also offers a branch of the Immigration Service, the National Police Immigration Department, and Ellebæk, a penal institutions for detained asylum seekers.

Sandholm is an estate in the parish of Blovstrød, Allerød Municipality some 30 km north of Copenhagen, Denmark.

Asminderød Church (Danish: Asminderød Kirke) is a parish church in Asminderød, now part of Fredensborg, Fredensborg Municipality som 40 km north of central Copenhagen, Denmark.

Until 1 January 2007 Fredensborg-Humlebæk Kommune was a municipality (Danish, kommune) on the east coast of the island of Zealand (Sjælland) in eastern Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 72 km², and had a total population of 20,024 (2005). Its last mayor was John Hemming, a member of the Conservative People's Party (Det Konservative Folkeparti) political party. The site of its municipal council was in Fredensborg. The municipality was a conglomerate of several small towns, the two major ones being Fredensborg and Humlebæk. Fredensborg-Humlebæk municipality ceased to exist as the result of Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with Karlebo Kommune municipality to form the new Fredensborg Kommune. This created a municipality with an area of 112 km² and a total population of 39,187 (2005). The new municipality belongs to Region Hovedstaden ("Capital Region").

Fredensborg Kommune is a municipality (Danish, kommune) in Region Hovedstaden (Capital Region). The municipality covers an area of 112.13 km2 and has a total population of 41,689 (as of 1. January 2023). Its mayor, since 2010, is Thomas Lykke Pedersen, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party. The municipality was created on 1 January 2007, in a merger of the former municipalities of Karlebo Kommune and Fredensborg-Humlebæk Kommune. Fredensborg Palace is the Danish Royal Family’s spring and autumn residence. Queen Ingrid of Denmark and Prince Consort Henrik died there.

Kratbjerg halt is a railway halt serving the district of Kratbjerg in the western part of the town of Fredensborg in North Zealand, Denmark. The halt is located on the Little North Line from Helsingør to Hillerød. The train services are currently operated by the railway company Lokaltog which runs frequent local train services between Helsingør station and Hillerød station.

Blovstrød is a small town and parish in Allerød Municipality, North Zealand, located some 30 km north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The town is situated on the east side of Lyngby Kongevej, approximately one kilometre east of Lillerød and Allerød station. Two new neighbourhoods, Ny Blovstrød and Teglværkskvarteret, are planned on the west side of Lyngby Kongevej.

Sjælsø is a lake straddling the borders between the municipalities of Rudersdal, Allerød and Hørsholm in North Zealand to the north of Copenhagen, Denmark. Situated immediately to the north of the suburban town of Birkerød, it is surrounded by a mixture of farmland, pastures and small woodlands. The lake has an area of 293 hectares and is relatively shallow. It is fed by five minor streams and drains into the Øresund though Usserød Å. It is owned by Nordvand A/S.

Store Dyrehave (literally Large Animal Park) is a forest located to the east of the village Ny Hammersholt immediately south of Hillerød, on both sides of Københavnsvej, in North Zealand, Denmark. Consisting of conifers and beech, it was enclosed with stone walls in 1619–28 as a royal deer park for hunting. In 1680, Christian V introduced a geometrical system of roads forming a star with eight branches for par force hunting. Although par force hunting was discontinued in 1777, the road system and numbered stone posts remain fully intact. Store Dyrehave is one of the three forests forming the Par force hunting landscape in North Zealand, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
