The Institute of Education (IOE), is one of the largest private secondary schools in Ireland, teaching 4th, 5th and 6th year pupils. As well as preparing for the Leaving Certificate, fourth year pupils at the Institute have the option to study a selection of subjects from the Cambridge International GCSE programme (IGCSE) as well as CEFR Language exams.

The Irish Film Theatre (IFT) was a cinema dedicated to showing art films in Dublin in Ireland from 1977 to 1984. The Arts Council of Ireland established Irish Film Theatre Limited as a company to promote the art of cinema in Ireland. The IFT cinema took over the theatre used by the former International Cinema at St. Stephen's Green House which, at the time, also housed the headquarters of the Irish Sugar Company in Earlsfort Terrace, beside St. Stephen's Green.

University Hall, also known as Hatch Hall, is a building on Hatch Street, Dublin 2, Ireland which has housed a Jesuit university hall accommodation, a Direct Provision accommodation centre for asylum seekers and refugees and in 2020 a plan was lodged for its conversion to a 60-bedroom 5-star hotel.The building was designed by CB Powell in 1910 in a late-Victorian and gothic-revival style which contrasted markedly with its predominantly Georgian townhouse surroundings.

Loreto College, St Stephen's Green (sometimes referred to as Loreto on the Green) is a Catholic all-girls private school situated on St Stephen's Green in Dublin, Ireland. The school was founded at 58 Harcourt Street in 1833 as a convent and school by Mother Teresa Ball just after catholic emancipation. In 1841, the school moved to 53 St Stephen's Green.

The Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA) is an artist-based and artist-oriented institution in Ireland, founded in Dublin in 1823. Like many other Irish institutions, such as the RIA, the academy retained the word "Royal", after Ireland's independence.

The Focus Theatre (Irish: An Amharclann Fócais) in Dublin, Ireland, was a small theatre which, for more than fifty years, offered a variety of plays from new and established writers, from its foundation in 1967 until its closure in 2012.

The Embassy of Australia in Ireland is the diplomatic mission of the Commonwealth of Australia in Ireland. The embassy is located in the capital city of Ireland, Dublin. On 26 June 2020, the Australian Government announced the appointment of former Australian politician Gary Gray as Australia's next ambassador to Ireland. Gray presented his credentials to the President of Ireland in September 2020.In 2021, the embassy became the first Australian embassy in the world to permanently fly the Australian Aboriginal Flag alongside the Australian Flag.

The Embassy of the Philippines in Dublin was the diplomatic mission of the Republic of the Philippines to the Republic of Ireland. Opened in 2009, it was located at the fourth floor of Hainault House along the southern perimeter of St Stephen's Green in central Dublin. Closed in 2012 due to a reduction in the Philippines' diplomatic presence worldwide during the presidency of Benigno Aquino III, the mission is scheduled to reopen in 2024.

The Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital (also known as The Eye and Ear) (Irish: Ospidéal Ríoga Victoria Súl agus Cluas) is a public teaching hospital in Dublin, Ireland. The Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital in Dublin was founded in 1895 and is the National Referral Centre for both Eye and Ear, Nose & Throat disorders.

Hume Street (; Irish: Sráid Hume) is a street in central Dublin located between Ely Place and St. Stephen's Green. It is named after Sir Gustavus Hume, 3rd Baronet (c.1670–1731) and his family.Most of the south side of the street is taken up by the former City of Dublin Skin and Cancer Hospital, which was located in this street for over 100 years, until 2006. It was moved to St. Vincent's Hospital in 2006.The geologist Richard Griffith was born in no. 8.

Ely Place ( Irish: Plás Íle) is a street in central Dublin with Georgian architecture. It is a continuation of Upper Merrion Street and the place where Lower Baggot Street and Merrion Row meet. Both the latter and Hume Street link it to St Stephen's Green.
