Bağcılar Olympic Sport Hall

Bağcılar is a district located on the European side of Istanbul. It is located near the city centre, just north of Bahçelievler, between the two major ring roads, TEM and D100 (formerly E5). The mayor is Abdullah Özdemir (AKP). The area encompassed sparsely populated countryside at the time of the founding of the Republic of Turkey. The name bağcılar means "vine growers" in Turkish. The district used to be known as Yeşilbağ, which translates to "green vineyard". Bağcılar also houses a great deal of industry, particularly light engineering, textiles, printing (Bağcılar is home to all the biggest of Turkey's newspapers and TV channels), a huge wholesale market for dry goods, a large second-hand car market, and many trucking companies, particularly along the Gunesli link road from the TEM motorway to Istanbul airport. A metro is being built which is expected to relieve the constant stream of slowly circulating traffic.

Bağcılar Meydan is an underground rapid transit station on the M1B line of the Istanbul Metro. It was opened on 14 June 2013 as part of the four new stations of the M1B extension to Kirazlı. The station is in the vicinity of the Bağcılar tram station, which is serviced by the T1 line to Zeytinburnu and Kabataş.

Göztepe Mahallesi is an underground station on the M7 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located on the O-3 Southern Byway in the Göztepe neighbourhood of Bağcılar. It was opened on 28 October 2020.The M7 line operates as fully automatic unattended train operation (UTO). The station consists of an island platform with two tracks. Since the M7 is an ATO line, protective gates on each side of the platform open only when a train is in the station.

Kirazlı, or Kirazlı-Bağcılar, is an underground rapid transit complex of the Istanbul Metro and is serviced by M1B and M3 lines.Kirazlı opened on 14 June 2013 as the southern terminus of the M3 line and eastern terminus of the M1B line. Since the M3 is considered a "continuation" of the M1B, passengers can transfer between these two lines for free. Kirazlı is the only station that offers free transfer in Istanbul. The station was inaugurated with a big ceremony in which officials from the Istanbul Municipality and Istanbul Ulaşım took part.On January 12, 2017, Lakhe Mashrapov, a man convicted of the 2017 Istanbul Nightclub attack was seen in the station and service to the station was suspended due to a search in an attempt to find him.

Molla Gürani is an underground station on the M3 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located under Mehmet Akif Boulevard in the İnönü neighbourhood of Bağcılar. It was opened on 10 March 2024, with the opening of the M3 extension from Kirazlı to Bakırköy Sahil.

Üçyüzlü is an underground rapid transit station on the M1B line of the Istanbul Metro. It was opened on 14 June 2013 as part of the four new stations of the M1B extension to Kirazlı.

Yenimahalle is an underground station on the M3 line of the Istanbul Metro in Bağcılar, Istanbul. The station is located beneath Dökümcüler Avenue in the Yenimahalle neighborhood of Bağcılar. Yenimahalle was opened on 14 June 2013 along with the Kirazlı-MetroKent portion of the M3.

Oruç Reis is an underground station on the M7 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located on Barbaros Street in the Oruçreis neighbourhood of Esenler. It was opened on 28 October 2020.The M7 line operates as fully automatic unattended train operation (UTO). The station consists of an island platform with two tracks. Since the M7 is an ATO line, protective gates on each side of the platform open only when a train is in the station.

Yıldıztepe is an underground station on the M3 line of the Istanbul Metro. It is located under Mehmet Akif Boulevard in the İnönü neighbourhood of Bağcılar. Due to difficulties in station construction, the station could not be opened with the rest of the M3 extension from Kirazlı to Bakırköy Sahil, and the opening date is yet to be announced.

Mahmutbey is an underground station on the M3 and M7 lines of the Istanbul Metro in Bağcılar, Istanbul. The station is located beneath Bosna Avenue in the Göztepe neighborhood of Bağcılar. Mahmutbey was opened on 14 June 2013 along with the Kirazlı-MetroKent portion of the M3.The station became the western terminus of the M7 line to Mecidiyeköy in 2020, when the M7 began operation.
