U-Tapao Royal Thai Navy Airfield is a military airfield of the Royal Thai Navy (RTN) approximately 140 kilometres (87 mi) southeast of Bangkok in the Ban Chang District of Rayong Province near Sattahip on the Gulf of Thailand. It serves as the home of the RTN First Air Wing.

Queen Sirikit Naval Hospital (Thai: โรงพยาบาลสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์) also stylised Somdech Phranangchao Sirikit Hospital, is a hospital located in Sattahip District, Chonburi Province, Thailand. It is a military hospital operated by the Naval Medical Department, The Royal Thai Navy particularly for personnel of the Royal Thai Navy, but also for the general public. It has a CPIRD Medical Education Center which trains medical students for the Faculty of Medicine, Burapha University. It is an affiliated teaching hospital of Phramongkutklao College of Medicine and the Faculty of Medicine Vajira Hospital, Navamindradhiraj University.

Ban Phlu Ta Luang railway station is a railway station located in Phlu Ta Luang Subdistrict, Sattahip District, Chon Buri, Thailand. It is a class 3 railway station located 184.033 kilometres (114.353 mi) from Bangkok railway station. The station opened in July 1989 as part of the Eastern Line Chachoengsao Junction–Sattahip Port section. Until the early 2000s, freight trains continued further down the line to Sattahip's Chuk Samet Port. Between then and 10 November 2023, Ban Phlu Ta Luang was the terminus of the passenger service from Bangkok, when Chuk Samet railway station reopened.

Phlu Ta Luang (Thai: พลูตาหลวง, pronounced [pʰlūː tāː lǔa̯ŋ]) is a tambon (subdistrict) in Sattahip district of Chonburi province, eastern Thailand.

The Navy Stadium (Thai: สนามกีฬาราชนาวี สัตหีบ) is a multi-use stadium in Sattahip, Chonburi Province, Thailand. It is currently being used mostly for navy personnel and family football matches and is the home stadium of Navy F.C. The stadium holds up to 6,000 people.

On 5 August 2022 at 1:00 AM ICT, a fire broke out at Mountain B, a nightclub located on the Sukhumvit Road in Phlu Ta Luang sub-district, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province, Thailand. The fire began at 1 am ICT and caused 13 immediate deaths. Out of the 38 people injured, seven later died in hospital, bringing the total death toll to 20. In October 2022, another victim died in the hospital; she was the 25th death related to the fire. It was the first disaster of its kind in Sattahip.

Ramayana Water Park (Thai: สวนน้ำรามายณะ) is a water park in Pattaya (Sattahip District, Chonburi province, Thailand), which is a 2-hour drive from Bangkok and 15 kilometers south of Pattaya City. It is one of the biggest water theme parks in Southeast Asia.

Silverlake Vineyard is a Thai winery located at the foot of Khao Chi Chan. Founded in 2002 by Surachai Tangjaitrong and Supansa Nuangpirom, it is a tourist attraction of Thailand. Varieties produced include Shiraz, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Rose and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Mahidol Adulyadej Naval Dockyard (Thai: อู่ราชนาวีมหิดลอดุลยเดช กรมอู่ทหารเรือ) is a Royal Thai Navy shipyard in Sattahip, Chonburi. It is named after Prince Mahidol Adulyadej, who served in the Royal Siamese Navy from 1912 through 1914. There are plans to base one of Thailand's submarines at the dockyard.

The 20th World Scout Jamboree took place in the naval base in Sattahip, Thailand between 28 December 2002 and 8 January 2003 - the 62nd anniversary of the death of Lord Baden-Powell, the founder of the Scout Movement. It was the second World Jamboree to be held in Southeast Asia after the Philippines hosted the event in 1959. The Jamboree provided an opportunity for 30,000 Scouts from all over the world to spend 12 days camping together and attend activities designed for them in self-development and social responsibility, within the framework of the educational Scout method. The Jamboree fostered the progress and unity of World Scout Movement and strongly linked it to Asian culture, both in terms of activities, mainly Thai dancing, and method. The theme of the 20th World Scout Jamboree was Share our World, Share our Cultures. As with previous Jamborees, the standard troop size was 36 youths plus 4 adult leaders. The camp was held in Sattahip, Chonburi Province, about 180 km (110 mi) southeast of Bangkok. The camp site was located on a beach on the Gulf of Thailand, covering 1,200 ha (3,000 acres) and consisting of flat plains, foothills, and a white sandy beach. The daily newspaper SawasdeeJam (Sawasdee + Jamboree), was produced for the camp. The emblem shows a typical Thai roof. The A-shaped gables in the roof represent Thailand's development of traditions and cultures and the sharing of these traditions from generation to generation. At the Closing Ceremony, a recorded message from The Hon. Betty Clay (née Baden-Powell), then 85, the younger daughter of the Founder, was broadcast.

The Buddha Mountain or Khao Chi Chan (Thai: เขาชีจรรย์) is a limestone hill in Na Chom Thian that has become a Pattaya landmark due to its large 109 m (358 ft) by 70 m (230 ft) golden Buddha laser engraving. It was created in 1996 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the coronation of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, and for Thai people and Buddhists for spiritual practice. The Khao Chi Chan Buddha image is the largest carved Buddha image in the world. The area surrounding the mountain is full of heavy clusters of grasses, shrubs, and trees including teak, acacia, Siamese rosewood, black rosewood, and various fruit trees such as Indian gooseberry, black plum, and ramontchi. The lush green surroundings seen in the 2020s go back to the development of the Siri Charoenwat Forest Plantation Project in 1990, named after Queen Sirikit, which was initiated by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej in 1992 on the occasion of Sirikit's 60th birthday. The Buddha Mountain together with the nearby Buddhist monastery Wat Yansangwararam Woramahawihan, the royal Chinese temple Viharn Sien, the Nong Nooch Tropical Garden, Silverlake Vineyard and the National Park form a large tourist attraction near Na Chom Thian, Jomtien and Pattaya. The Buddha Mountain is a popular place for leisure activities, mediation, celebrations, and dance performances. As of 2016, Thai, Chinese and Russian tourists made up the majority of visitors to the area. According to the Forest Training Department, around 1,000 monkeys were living around the mountain in 2015.
