Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History

Religious Liberty was commissioned by B'nai B'rith and dedicated "to the people of the United States" as an expression of support for the Constitutional guarantee of religious freedom. It was created by Moses Jacob Ezekiel, a B'nai B'rith member and the first American Jewish sculptor to gain international prominence. The statue was 11 feet (3.4 m) high, of marble, and the plinth (base) added another 14 feet (4.3 m). It weighed 26,000 pounds (12,000 kg), and was said to be the largest sculpture created in the 19th century. It was carved in Italy and shipped to Fairmount Park in Philadelphia for the nation's 1876 Centennial Exposition. It was later moved to Independence Mall and now (2023) stands in front of the National Museum of American Jewish History.

5th Street/Independence Hall station is a subway station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the intersection of 5th and Market Street served by SEPTA's Market-Frankford Line. The station serves multiple notable Philadelphia landmarks including Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, the National Constitution Center, the National Museum of American Jewish History, and the Philadelphia Bourse.The station originally opened as 5th Street station and was renamed by SEPTA on June 29, 2016.The station is also served by numerous SEPTA bus routes, the 17, 33, 38, 44, and 48.

Hussian College is a private art school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Established in 1946, it offers only one degree, the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA). It has a campus in Los Angeles, the Studio School.

The Philadelphia Bourse was a commodities exchange founded in 1891 by George E. Bartol, a grain and commodities exporter, who modeled it after the Bourse in Hamburg, Germany. The steel-framed building – one of the first to be constructed – was built from 1893 to 1895, and was designed by G. W. & W. D. Hewitt in the Beaux-Arts style. Carlisle redstone, Pompeian buff brick and terra cotta were all used in the facade. The building was sold in 1979 to Kaiserman Company and underwent extensive renovations, bringing the internal usable surface to approximately 286,000 square feet (26,000 square meters). In 2016, MRP Realty took ownership of the building and spent $40 million renovating it. MRP Realty owns the building as part of a three-building collection named The Independence Portfolio, which also includes 325 Chestnut and 400 Market Street—both located within a block of The Bourse. The building is home to nine floors of office space which includes a Mexican Consulate. There is also a food hall on the first floor which opened on 15 November 2018.

The Museum of Illusions Philadelphia is an "edutainment" museum in Philadelphia devoted to optical illusions. In was opened in 2022. It occupies space in the same building as the Faith and Liberty Discovery Center.

The Faith and Liberty Discovery Center (FLDC) is a new museum owned and operated by American Bible Society on Philadelphia's Independence Mall. It opened in May 2021 and focuses on the impact of the Bible on the men and women who built America—from the Founders, through abolitionists and suffragists, celebrating the civil rights activists, and continuing to the present day.The 40,000 square-foot, $60 million project was designed by Local Projects, the firm that designed the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. Local Projects created technology for all visitors, including a lamp, that helps tailor their experiences. In 2021, Local Projects and the FLDC were named for exhibition design of the year in the Dezeen Awards 2021 public vote. Architectural design was led by the Philadelphia principals of JacobsWyper Architects' SaylorGregg Studio. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $8 for children ages 7–17.

American Bible Society is a U.S.-based Christian nonprofit headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As the American member organization of United Bible Societies, it supports global Bible translation, production, distribution, literacy, engagement, ministry, and advocacy efforts. American Bible Society publishes and distributes interconfessional translations of the Christian Bible and provides study aids and other tools to help people engage with it. Founded on May 11, 1816, in New York City, it is best known for its Good News Translation of the Bible, written in the contemporary vernacular. American Bible Society also publishes the Contemporary English Version. American Bible Society is a member of the United Bible Societies, Forum of Bible Agencies International, Every Tribe Every Nation and not affiliated with any single denomination. However, it does not consider Latter-day Saints or Jehovah's Witnesses to be Christians.American Bible Society's headquarters relocated from 1865 Broadway in New York City to Philadelphia in August 2015.

The Liberty Bell Pavilion (demolished) was a building within Independence National Historical Park (INHP) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that housed the Liberty Bell from January 1, 1976 to October 9, 2003. Designed by the architectural firm Giurgola Associates to be the Bell's permanent home, it stood for only 30 years. The Bell is currently housed in a much larger building, the Liberty Bell Center, completed in 2003. The Pavilion was demolished in 2006.

The President's House in Philadelphia was the third U.S. Presidential Mansion. George Washington occupied it from November 27, 1790 to March 10, 1797, and John Adams occupied it from March 21, 1797 to May 30, 1800. The house was located one block north of the Pennsylvania Statehouse, now known as Independence Hall, and was built by widow Mary Masters about 1767. During the 1777–1778 British occupation of Philadelphia, it was headquarters for General Sir William Howe and the British Army. The British abandoned the city in June 1778, and the house became headquarters for Military Governor Benedict Arnold. Philadelphia served as the national capital from 1790 to 1800 while Washington, D.C. was under construction after which it was owned by Revolutionary War financier and fellow Founding Father Robert Morris, who gave the house to George Washington. Washington brought nine enslaved Africans from Mount Vernon to work in his presidential household.The house also served as the executive mansion for the second U.S. president, John Adams, who later moved to the not-yet-completed White House in Washington, D.C. on November 1, 1800. In 1951, confusion over the exact location of the Philadelphia President's House led to its surviving walls being unknowingly demolished. Advocacy by historians and African American groups resulted in the 2010 commemoration of the site.

Philly Beer Week is a series of beer events held over a 10-day period in Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley area organized and operated by Philly Beer Week Inc., originating in 2007. Events include festivals, dinners, tours, pub crawls, tastings and meet-the-brewer nights to area bars, restaurants and other locations throughout the city and surrounding suburbs hosted by over 200 area restaurants, breweries and beer stores. Philly Beer Week is the largest beer celebration in the United States, and its successful model has been copied by over 100 other cities worldwide. The organization was founded in 2007 by a group of local beer enthusiasts, bar owners, brewers, distributors and others. Its first leaders were President Tom Peters of Monk's Cafe, Vice President Bruce Nichols of Museum Catering and Executive Director Don Russell, also known as Joe Sixpack. 2018 marked the 10th anniversary of the celebration. Two years later, however, the Beer Week went to online. The symbol of Philly Beer Week is the Hammer of Glory. It is carried during a citywide relay to kick off each Philly Beer Week, and then used to open the first keg of the celebration at Opening Tap. In 2013, it was stolen and then quickly returned.

Congregation Mikveh Israel (Hebrew: קהל קדוש מקוה ישראל), "Holy Community Hope of Israel", is a synagogue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that traces its history to 1740. Mikveh Israel is a Spanish and Portuguese synagogue that follows the rite of the Amsterdam esnoga. It is the oldest synagogue in Philadelphia, and the longest running in the United States. The congregation moved to its current building at 44 North Fourth Street in 1976. The synagogue is located within Philadelphia's Old City Historic District and adjacent to Independence Mall. Mikveh Israel is an active community synagogue with services on the Sabbath, holy days, and special occasions. It offers adult education and cultural programming with a focus on the Spanish and Portuguese tradition and history. It is active within the Center City Jewish community and its kitchen is under the kosher supervision of the Community Kashrus of Greater Philadelphia The Keystone K. Rabbi Albert Gabbai has led the congregation since 1988. Rabbi Yosef Zarnighian has served as Assistant Rabbi since September 2021.

The Provident Life & Trust Company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, a demolished Victorian-era building by architect Frank Furness, is considered to have been one of his greatest works. A bank and insurance company founded in 1865 by members of the Society of Friends (Quakers), the Provident's L-shaped building had entrances at 407-09 Chestnut Street (bank) and 42 South 4th Street (insurance company). The two wings were eventually consolidated into an office building (also by Furness) at the northwest corner of 4th & Chestnut Streets.
