Shinrone

Shinrone GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the Southern Offaly village of Shinrone County Offaly. The club compete in competitions from u6 to senior run by the Offaly GAA county board. Shinrone are almost exclusively concerned with the game of Hurling.

Brosna (Irish: An Bhrosnach) is a small village and townland in County Offaly, Ireland. It lies in the valley of the Little Brosna River less than one kilometer off the N62 national secondary road. As of the 2011 census, Brosna townland had a population of 31 people. The area takes its named from the Little Brosna River, which flows through the townland.

Dunkerrin (Irish: Dún Cairin) is a small village in County Offaly, Ireland, just south of Roscrea and near the County Tipperary border. It is on the R445 road which was once the main road from Dublin to Limerick. Dunkerrin is now bypassed by the M7, the nearest access is junction 23 at Moneygall.

Leap Castle (; Irish: Caisleán Léim Uí Bhánáin) is a castle in Coolderry, County Offaly, Ireland, about 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) north of the town of Roscrea and 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) south of Kinnitty on the R421.

Roscrea Friary (Irish: Mainistir na bProinsiasach) is a ruined medieval Franciscan friary and National Monument located in Roscrea, County Tipperary, Ireland. It is on Abbey Street, in the west end of Roscrea, on the north bank of the River Bunnow. The Friary was founded in the 15th century by Greyfriars (Franciscans) and later destroyed by British soldiers. What remains are the north and east walls and the bell-tower.

Roscrea Castle is a 13th-century motte-and-bailey castle in the town of Roscrea, Ireland. The Castle consists of a walled courtyard, gate block, and angled towers. Along with 18th century Damer House and gardens, the Castle forms part of Roscrea Heritage Centre.

Sean Ross Abbey south of Roscrea in County Tipperary, Ireland, is a convent and the location of St Anne's Special School run by the Sisters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. St Crónán is believed to have founded a monastery at this location in the 6th century.

Roscrea (Irish: Ros Cré, meaning 'Crea's wood') is a market town in County Tipperary, Ireland, which in 2016 had a population of 5,446. Roscrea is one of the oldest towns in Ireland, having developed around the 7th century monastery of Saint Crónán of Roscrea, parts of which remain preserved today. Roscrea is a designated Irish Heritage Town due to the extent of important historical buildings that are preserved in the town. Amongst the most notable buildings of interest are the 13th century Roscrea Castle and Damer House on Castle Street. Within the town are the remains of the ancient Romanesque doorway and gable-end of St Cronan's church. The Round Tower and the High cross of the ancient monastery are also located nearby. Also of interest in the town are the remains of the 15th century Franciscan Friary and Monaincha and Sean Ross Abbeys. One of the most famous books produced by the monastery is the 8th-century Book of Dimma currently on display at Trinity College, Dublin.

Roscrea railway station serves the town of Roscrea, County Tipperary, in Ireland. Roscrea station is on the Limerick-Ballybrophy railway line of the Irish railway network connecting to the main Cork-Dublin line at Ballybrophy. It is listed as a protected structure by Tipperary County Council (RPS Ref RC093). The station is staffed and has a car park. The station is 0.5 miles from Roscrea town centre.

Coolderry GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the town of Coolderry in County Offaly, Ireland. The club is the most successful side in the Offaly Senior Hurling Championship with a record 31 titles. Its facilities include a clubhouse with four dressing rooms, floodlights, ball wall, two pitches, a running track and a gym. Its most recent win was 2018 beating Kilcormac Kiloughey.

Roscrea GAA is a Tipperary GAA club which is located in County Tipperary, Ireland. Both hurling and Gaelic football are played in the "North Tipperary" divisional competitions. The club is centred on the town of Roscrea. The club's colours are red and white and they play at Páirc Naomh Cronáin (English: St. Cronan's Park). This was the venue for the 1949 All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship Final.
