The Miracle Mile is a prominent shopping district in Manhasset in Nassau County, on the North Shore of Long Island, in New York, United States. It consists of the area along Northern Boulevard (NY 25A) between Community Drive to the west, and Port Washington Boulevard (NY 101) and Searingtown Road to the east.

Greentree is a 400-acre (1.6 km2) estate in Manhasset, New York on Long Island. The estate was constructed for businessman Payne Whitney in 1904 and was owned by members of the Whitney family for much of the 20th century. It is currently owned by the Greentree Foundation, a philanthropic nonprofit organization.

Shelter Rock is a rock shelter of granite on the border of Manhasset and North Hills, New York, USA, 10 feet (3m) from Shelter Rock Road. The rock is a glacial erratic estimated to weigh 1,800 tons and has a 30-foot overhang. It is 55 feet high and 35 feet wide. It was deposited by glacial action between 20,000 and 11,000 years ago. Members of the Matinecock had a settlement nearby and a number of legends about the rock arose among both the Native Americans and the European colonists. Native Americans used the rock as shelter from the elements, possibly as early as 1000 B.C.The boulder is located on Greentree, a private estate once owned by the Whitneys. The top of the boulder is just visible from Shelter Rock Road, more so in the colder parts of the year when the vegetation recedes. While it is not publicly accessible, the Greentree Foundation does arrange special tours for scouts, school and other small groups from time to time.

Saint Mary's High School is a private Catholic high school in Manhasset, New York. St. Mary's parish is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre yet the High School serves families of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, the Diocese of Brooklyn and the Diocese of Rockville Centre. It is located off Northern Boulevard at 51 Clapham Avenue, Manhasset, near the Miracle Mile. St. Mary's Men's Varsity Ice Hockey is the all-time leader in State Championships, winning consecutive titles from 1994-2006. Starting in 2011 students are issued an iPad configured for educational use. Starting in 2018, students are issued a Chromebook replacing their iPad. Personal devices are not allowed including phones, media players, and computers. In September 2021, the school staff includes two members of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist.

Manhasset Secondary School, also referred to as Manhasset Junior/Senior High School or simply Manhasset High School, is a six-year comprehensive public middle and high school in Manhasset, New York, on the North Shore of Long Island. The 7–12 school is the only secondary school in the Manhasset Union Free School District. As for the 2020–21 school year, the school had a total enrollment of 1,492 students, with 144.16 classroom teachers on FTE basis) for a student-teacher ratio of 10.35:1. 114 students (7.6%) were eligible for free lunch while 9 (0.6%) were eligible for reduced-price lunch.

Munsey Park is a village in Nassau County, on the North Shore of Long Island, in New York, United States. It is considered part of the Greater Manhasset area, which is anchored by Manhasset. The population was 2,809 at the 2020 census. The Incorporated Village of Munsey Park is located entirely within the Town of North Hempstead, and has been recognized as a Tree City USA since 1983.
