Ansan University

Sangnok-gu (상록구) is a district of the city of Ansan in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The name "Sangnok" is came from the name of famous Korean novel Sangnoksu (meaning "evergreens"), written by Sim Hoon in 1936.

Il-dong (Korean: 일동; Hanja: 一洞) is a neighbourhood of Sangnok-gu, Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.

Sangnoksu station is a railway station on Seoul Subway Line 4. The station is located in Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do. It is located between Banwol station and Hanyang Univ. at Ansan station. Its station subname is Ansan Univ.Sangnoksu means "Evergreen Tree". The station, just like its Sangnok-gu neighborhood, is named after the book Sangnoksu (1935) by Sim Hun.

Hanyang University at Ansan station (Korean: 한대앞역) is a station on Seoul Subway Line 4 & the Suin–Bundang Line in Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It is named after the city's ERICA campus of Hanyang University. Unlike the name of the station, Hanyang University is not right in front of the station. Hanyang University shuttle buses stop in front of the station. Buses usually take students from the station to the university every 10 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends. It takes about 10 minutes from the station to the ERICA campus.This station was the planned southeastern terminus of the section of the Suin Line; it became a transfer point between Line 4 and the Suin Line when construction on the Suin Line was completed in 2019. Opening was delayed until autumn 2020, when it became part of the Suin–Bundang Line.

Hometown Village (Korean: 고향마을; Hanja: 故鄕마을; RR: Gohyang Maeul) is a community of eight apartment buildings and enclave of Sakhalin Koreans at 39 Yonghagongwon-ro, Sangnok-gu, Ansan, South Korea. It is the largest enclave of Sakhalin Koreans in the country.The community is composed of members of the return migration of the Korean diaspora. Settlement in the community began in 2000. The current population is primarily elderly, and was 764 by October 2023.

Banwol-dong (Korean: 반월동; Hanja: 半月洞) is a neighborhood of Sangnok-gu, Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.

Sari station is a railroad station on the Suin–Bundang Line of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It opened on 12 September 2020.

Jungang Station is a railway station on Seoul Subway Line 4 and the Suin–Bundang Line in Ansan, South Korea. Its substation name is Seoul Institute of the Arts. It is a busy station located close to the Ansan Express Bus Terminal.The Sinansan Line will connect Jungang Station to Yeouido Station in 2023.

Wolpi-dong (Korean: 월피동; Hanja: 月陂洞) is a neighbourhood of Sangnok-gu, Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.

Ansan (Hangeul: 안산, Korean pronunciation: [an.san]) is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. It lies southwest of Seoul and is part of the Seoul National Capital Area. It is connected to Seoul by rail via Seoul Subway Line 4. It is situated on the Yellow Sea coast and some islands lie within its jurisdiction. The largest and best-known of these is Daebu Island. Several higher learning institutions are located in Ansan. They include Ansan University, Shin Ansan University, Seoul Institute of the Arts, and the ERICA campus of Hanyang University. The Korea Transportation Safety Authority, a government agency, has also been headquartered in Ansan since June 3, 2002. With its high number of foreign workers, Wongokbon-dong has been designated as a multicultural area. In 2021, Ansan was selected as the largest residential area for foreigners and it is seeking designation as a special multicultural city. Street play festival is held every year in Ansan.
