Mount Olive Township is a township in Morris County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 28,886, its highest decennial census count ever and an increase of 769 (+2.7%) from the 2010 census count of 28,117, which in turn reflected an increase of 3,924 (+16.2%) from the 24,193 counted in the 2000 census. Located within the Raritan Valley region, Mount Olive is situated in western Morris County bordering both Sussex and Warren counties along the Musconetcong River. The Township of Mount Olive was formed by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 22, 1871, from portions of Roxbury Township. Netcong was formed from portions of the township on October 23, 1894. The township was named for Benjamin Olive, a colonial-era Lieutenant Governor of New Jersey who donated land for the site of churches constructed in the area.

The Seward Mansion is a historic house at 30 Flanders Road, in Turkey Brook Park, Mount Olive Township, Morris County, New Jersey. The mansion, described using its historic name, Seward House, was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 24, 2013, for its significance in architecture.

Turkey Brook Park is located within Mount Olive Township, in Morris County, New Jersey on Flanders Road next to the Chester M. Stephens Elementary School. Mount Olive Township's Grand Opening of the park was held on July 19, 2003.

The Mount Olive Township School District is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade from Mount Olive Township, in Morris County, New Jersey, United States.As of the 2021–22 school year, the district, composed of six schools, had an enrollment of 4,583 students and 405.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 11.3:1.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "GH", the third-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.In 2010, the district eliminated D as a passing grade for its middle- and high-schoolers. The district also instituted a rule requiring anyone who earned a D or an F in a course to retake that course.

The Pax Amicus Theater is located in Budd Lake, New Jersey, United States, and was founded in 1970. This community theater produces a full year-round season of Broadway and off-Broadway revivals, professional productions of works by Shakespeare and Edgar Allan Poe, a program devoted to children's theater, and special events throughout the year. The architecture of the theater is designed to look like a medieval castle.

The International Trade Center is a multi-acre office park located in Mount Olive, New Jersey. Formerly the site of BASF until 2004, it is currently home to facilities of L3 Technologies, Bosal USA, Coherent Advanced Crystal Group, Vistar, and Robertet, among others. A Residence Inn by Marriott and Mount Olive station are on the grounds. The Center is designated as a foreign trade zone by the State of New Jersey. The International Trade Center was developed by New Jersey Foreign Trade Zone Venture, a joint venture between Rockefeller Group Real Estate & CJ Follini on behalf Edenwald FTZ Development, one of the companies of the Follini family office. The development has recently been valued at over $975 million dollars.

Mount Olive High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school that serves students in ninth through twelfth grade from Mount Olive Township, in Morris County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, operating as the lone secondary school of the Mount Olive Township School District. The school is located in the Flanders section of the township. As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,468 students and 116.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.6:1. There were 106 students (7.2% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 28 (1.9% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Mount Olive is a NJ Transit station in Mount Olive, New Jersey, located in the International Trade Center. The station, located on the side of Waterloo Village Road, services trains for both the Montclair-Boonton Line and the Morristown Line along trackage owned by Norfolk Southern. The line is not electrified from Hackettstown to Dover, where passengers can transfer to an electric Morristown Line train via Summit or a diesel Montclair-Boonton train via Wayne and Montclair. Trains along both lines head to Hoboken Terminal in Hoboken, New Jersey or New York Penn Station at 34th Street in New York City, although Montclair-Boonton trains require a transfer at Montclair State University or Newark Broad Street for electrified service to New York. It is also the least-used station in the NJ Transit commuter rail network.

Netcong is an NJ Transit station in Netcong, in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. Located on Route 46 at Main Street in downtown Netcong, the small, 1-low level side platform station service passengers for the Morristown Line and the Montclair-Boonton Line. These lines provide service to Hoboken or to New York City via Midtown Direct on the Morristown Line at Dover station and Montclair-Boonton at Montclair State University station. Midtown Direct service can also be transferred at Newark Broad Street station in Newark. There is one track and one platform on the north side, adjacent to the station. NJ Transit maintains a substantial train servicing yard east of the Netcong station at Port Morris in Roxbury Township. Port Morris Yard is proposed to return as the junction of the Montclair-Boonton and Morristown lines for the Lackawanna Cut-Off line to Scranton. Transfers would be provided at Lake Hopatcong station in Landing.

The Plaster Mill is located near the intersection of Main Street and Kelly Place in the borough of Stanhope in Sussex County, New Jersey, United States. The mill was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 3, 1977 as part of an effort to restore the building by the Musconetcong Foundrymen Historical Society and note its significance in industry.

Musconetcong County was a proposed county in New Jersey, which was to be created from parts of Hunterdon and Warren counties.

Netcong is a borough in Morris County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 3,375, an increase of 143 (+4.4%) from the 2010 census count of 3,232, which in turn reflected an increase of 652 (+25.3%) from the 2,580 counted in the 2000 census. Netcong lies on the shores of Lake Musconetcong. Established as South Stanhope by workers employed as miners in Stanhope, the name "Netcong" was adopted for the community in 1889 when a post office used the name. Netcong was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on October 23, 1894, from portions of both Mount Olive Township and Roxbury Township, based on the results of a referendum held the previous day.
