Manasquan, New Jersey

Squan Beach Life-Saving Station #9 is located in Manasquan, Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The station was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 5, 2008.

The Manasquan Inlet is an inlet that connects the Atlantic Ocean with the Manasquan River, dividing the counties of Ocean County and Monmouth County in the state of New Jersey. Passage to Bay Head Harbor and the Barnegat Bay is possible via the Point Pleasant Canal. The present Manasquan River Inlet was dug in the 1920s with the original inlet located at Stockton Lake. The present day inlet is the northern terminus of the Intracoastal Waterway. The inlet is home to the Squan US Coast Guard station.

Manasquan is a railway station in Manasquan, New Jersey, United States. It is served by trains on NJ Transit's North Jersey Coast Line. In May 2011, ticket machines were installed on both sides of the station depot at Manasquan. Commuter parking is free at the station, but it shares its lot with the customers of the pub adjacent to the station.

Brielle Draw is a railroad bascule bridge over Manasquan River in Brielle and Point Pleasant Beach, Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States west of the Manasquan Inlet to the Atlantic Ocean. It carries a single track of the New Jersey Transit Rail Operations (NJT) North Jersey Coast Line (MP 36.38) between Manasquan and Point Pleasant Beach stations. It had once been part of Central Railroad of New Jersey (CNJ), New York & Long Branch Railroad (NYLB) and Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) operations. The line is also served by the River Draw over the Raritan River, the Morgan Draw over Cheesequake Creek, the Oceanport Draw over Oceanport Creek and the Shark River Draw.

The National Guard Militia Museum of New Jersey is headquartered in Sea Girt, with a second museum located in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, and operates under the auspices of the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. The not-for-profit museum's purpose is to preserve and explain New Jersey's military heritage, by collecting, preserving and displaying artifacts with specific relevance and historical significance to the New Jersey Army National Guard, the New Jersey Air National Guard and the New Jersey Naval Militia. It is a member of the Army Museum System.

Sea Girt is a borough situated on the Jersey Shore, within Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 1,866, an increase of 38 (+2.1%) from the 2010 census count of 1,828, which in turn had reflected a decline of 320 (−14.9%) from the 2,148 counted in the 2000 census.In the Forbes magazine 2012 rankings of "America's Most Expensive ZIP Codes", the borough was ranked 197th, with a median price of $1,135,184.

In addition to students from Manasquan, the high school also serves students from Avon-by-the-Sea, Belmar, Brielle, Lake Como, Sea Girt, Spring Lake and Spring Lake Heights, who attend Manasquan High School as part of sending/receiving relationships with their respective districts.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 988 students and 80.9 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.2:1. There were 65 students (6.6% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 9 (0.9% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

St. Uriel's Episcopal Church, also known as Church of St. Uriel the Archangel, or simply St. Uriel's, is an Episcopal church in Sea Girt, New Jersey. The church is an operating member of the Anglican Communion, and is aligned with the Anglo-Catholic churchmanship of Anglicanism. A history of the church by James B. Simpson entitled Regent of the Sun was published in 1988, on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of its founding. The parish banner was made by the Sisters of Bethany and dedicated at the church in 1958. Until that year, the church in Sea Girt was the only Anglican house of worship dedicated to the Archangel Uriel. It remains the only Episcopal church in the United States named after Saint Uriel the Archangel.

Point Pleasant Beach is a coastal borough situated on the Jersey Shore, and the northernmost community directly facing the Atlantic Ocean within Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It lies at the northern end of the Barnegat Peninsula, which serves as a barrier island separating Barnegat Bay from the open Atlantic Ocean. The borough's name is derived from its location.As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 4,766, an increase of 101 (+2.2%) from the 2010 census count of 4,665, which in turn reflected a decline of 649 (−12.2%) from the 5,314 counted in the 2000 census.Point Pleasant Beach was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on May 18, 1886, from portions of Brick Township, subject to the results of a referendum passed the previous day. Point Pleasant Beach lies immediately to the east of Point Pleasant borough, an entirely separate municipality within Ocean County. The borough's boardwalk is approximately one mile long, spanning the coastline from the Manasquan Inlet at the north to New Jersey Avenue in the south. The central third of the boardwalk is largely amusement rides, the Jenkinson's Aquarium, the Jenkinsons Arcades, pizza joints, ice cream parlors, games-of-chance and miniature golf courses. There are fees of up to $10 per person age 12 or over to access the various beaches, as well as parking fees of up to $2.50 per hour or more.The beach was ranked eighth-best in New Jersey in the "2008 Top 10 Beaches Contest" sponsored by the New Jersey Marine Sciences Consortium.
