Congregation Etz Ahaim Sephardic (Hebrew: קהילת קודש עץ החיים, "The Tree of Life") is a Sephardic Orthodox synagogue on Denison Street in Highland Park, New Jersey, United States. The congregation is a member of the American Sephardi Federation, the Sephardic Jewish Brotherhood of America (La Ermandad Sefaradi) and the Raritan Valley Orthodox Jewish Community Organization (ROCNJ). It is the only Sephardic congregation in Highland Park/Edison area.The congregation consists of approximately 125 families. Its members and supporters have roots in Israel, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Syria, Europe, North Africa, Persia, Iraq and, of course, the United States. Prayers are offered in Hebrew, English and Ladino. It is the oldest Sephardic Jewish congregation in New Jersey.

The restaurant franchise was ranked on America's best burgers list along with White Manna, another New Jersey burger joint.White Rose took the name "White" to emphasize clean meat. Many other restaurants have added the name "White" in their title based on this. In 2013, White Rose opened a location in New Brunswick, New Jersey.White Rose has daily deliveries of bread and meat. Orders are processed quickly in a streamlined process which has remained the same for decades.

The Raritan River Bridge is a rail bridge over the Raritan River, in New Brunswick and Highland Park in Middlesex County, New Jersey, U.S. The arch bridge carries the Northeast Corridor (NEC) at MP 30.92. It used by Amtrak, including Northeast Regional service, and New Jersey Transit's Northeast Corridor Line. It also crosses over New Jersey Route 18 and the East Coast Greenway. The bridge was constructed in 1903 by the Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR). It consists of 21 spans of stone arches, the clear spans varying from 51 feet to 72 feet each and has a total length of 1,428 feet (435 m). The line was electrified by 1933. and between 1948-1950 the bridge was encased in concrete.The bridge was documented by the Historic American Engineering Record in 1977. It is contributing property of the unlisted Pennsylvania Railroad New York to Philadelphia Historic District (ID#4568), designated in 2002 by the New Jersey State Historic Preservation Office.

Elmer B. Boyd Memorial Park is a 20-acre municipal park running along the Raritan River in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Named after a news publisher, the park was rehabilitated and reopened in 1999 at a cost of $11 million.The park is the location for the New Brunswick Landing, a floating dock with 24 slips available for boaters. It is part of the Middlesex County Park System.

The King Block, also known as the Crossroads Theater, was a historic building located on Memorial Parkway (Burnet Street) in New Brunswick, New Jersey, United States. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 26, 1988. The Crossroads Theater Company used the building until 1991, when the company moved from King Block to Monument Square. The building was demolished for redevelopment in the early 1990s.
