The Hudson School is a private, nonsectarian, coeducational day school located in Hoboken, in Hudson County, New Jersey, United States, serving students in fifth through twelfth grades. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1991; The school's accreditation status was extended for ten years in Fall 2018. The school is a member of the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools.As of the 2019–20 school year, the school had an enrollment of 187 students and 30.8 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 6.1:1. The school's student body was 50.8% (95) White, 20.9% (39) Asian, 13.4% (25) two or more races, 9.6% (18) Black and 5.3% (10) Hispanic.

The Church of the Holy Innocents was an Episcopal church at Willow Avenue and 6th Street in Hoboken, Hudson County, New Jersey, United States. The congregation was founded in 1872. It was built 1885 to the designs of Edward Tuckerman Potter and Henry Vaughan. The choir was added in 1913, the baptistery in 1932. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. It is no longer in use as a church but the building remains.

Engine Company No. 6 is located in Hoboken, Hudson County, New Jersey, United States. The firehouse was built in 1907 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 30, 1984. A renovation occurred in 2008 at a cost of $650,000. The renovation included a new sprinkler system, a steel-reinforced floor, a kitchen and a physical training room. The firehouse currently houses Engine Company 3 and Rescue Company 1 of the Hoboken Fire Department.

The Hoboken Public Library is the free public library of Hoboken, New Jersey. It is a member of the Bergen County Cooperative Library System, a consortium of municipal libraries in the northeastern New Jersey counties of Bergen, Hudson, Passaic, and Essex. The library was established through the philanthropy of Martha Bayard Stevens. The building opened in 1897. It is listed on the New Jersey Register of Historic Places and the National Register of Historic Places.The library also operates a small branch at 124 Grand St., in the Multi-Service Community Center building housing various other municipal services.

The Firemen's Monument is a 28 ft 0 in (8.53 m) tall monument in Hoboken, Hudson County, New Jersey, United States, that was designed by American sculptor Caspar Buberl and completed in 1891. The monument was built to commemorate the Volunteer Fire Department in Church Square Park on May 30, 1891.

Edwin A. Stevens Hall is located in Hoboken, Hudson County, New Jersey, United States. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 4, 1994. The building was designed by Richard Upjohn and built in 1870. The building was named after Edwin Augustus Stevens and used as the main building for the Stevens Institute of Technology. The renowned DeBaun Auditorium, which is over 100 years old, is located in this building. The building is currently used as the Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. School of Engineering and Science.

Hoboken High School (HHS) is a four-year comprehensive public high school serving students in ninth through twelfth grades, located in Hoboken, in Hudson County, United States, operating as the lone secondary school of the Hoboken Public Schools. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1928.Starting in the 2013–14 school year, the school had operated as a combined junior-senior high school. In 2016–17, the middle school was split off to serve grades seven and eight, with plans to move the middle school to the A.J. Demarest building.As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 468 students and 46.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 10.1:1. There were 315 students (67.3% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 19 (4.1% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

The Church of Our Lady of Grace is a Roman Catholic church built between 1874 and 1876. It is situated in Hoboken, Hudson County, New Jersey, United States. It is a Gothic-style church designed by Francis G. Himpler and William J. Whyte. Located on the corner of Fourth St. and Willow St. in Hoboken, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.The exterior of the church was used for scenes in the 1954 film On the Waterfront.

Stevens Cooperative School is a private school for PreK 3 through 8th grade with campuses in Hoboken and Newport, Jersey City. Founded in 1949, Stevens is the oldest parent cooperative school in New Jersey, and a model of progressive education in action. Originally an informal playgroup for children of the faculty at Stevens Institute of Technology, the school has grown into a nursery, elementary and middle school with over 420 students. The Stevens community includes Hoboken, Jersey City, Weehawken, North Bergen, Secaucus, Union City, Bayonne, West New York, Cliffside Park and other NJ locations and Manhattan.

The Saint Ann Roman Catholic Church and Rectory is located at 704 Jefferson Street in the City of Hoboken in Hudson County, New Jersey. It was constructed during the tenure of Rev. Michael Gori, who was pastor of the parish from 1921 to 1937. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 24, 2015, for its significance in architecture, religion, and ethnic heritage from 1925 to 1949.

Started in the fall of 1994, the Hoboken Spring & Fall Arts and Music Festival has presented annual artist and musical performances in Hoboken, New Jersey. The event takes place on Washington St. from Observer Highway to 7th St. In the first years, the event was only 2 to 3 blocks long with about 80 to 100 vendors. It quickly expanded to its current size, now 10 blocks long, hosts over 400 vendor spaces, has 3 stages of live performance and a special section with activities for children. The event attracts between 30,000 and 50,000 visitors every year.

Hoboken University Medical Center is a community hospital located in Hoboken, New Jersey with 190 beds. It was founded in 1863 as St. Mary Hospital and operated under that name until 2007. The hospital is owned by Hudson Hospital Opco, known as CarePoint Health, an organization that also owns Bayonne Medical Center and Christ Hospital. The hospital is an academic affiliate of New York Medical College and was previously an academic affiliate of New Jersey Medical School.
