The Sea Isle City School District is community public school district that formerly directly operated a school that served students in pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade from Sea Isle City, New Jersey, United States. It currently does not operate any schools. Its headquarters is the Sea Isle City Community Lodge.As of the 2008-09 school year, the district's one school had an enrollment of 67 students and 12.9 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 5.2.The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "B", the second lowest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.For all grades students are sent to attend Ocean City School District in Ocean City as part of a sending/receiving relationship. For ninth through twelfth grades, the destination school is Ocean City High School.

Ludlam's Beach Light was a lighthouse formerly located in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. It was decommissioned in 1924 and converted to a private residence which was demolished in September 2010.

As of the 2020 United States census, the CDP's population was 137, a decrease of 21 (−13.3%) from the 158 counted at the 2010 U.S. census, which reflected a decrease of 17 (−9.7%) from the 175 enumerated at the 2000 census.With its beaches in the Strathmere section, Upper Township is one of five municipalities in the state that offer free public access to oceanfront beaches monitored by lifeguards, joining Atlantic City, North Wildwood, Wildwood, and Wildwood Crest.
