Kravis Children's Hospital (KCH) at Mount Sinai is a nationally ranked pediatric acute care children's hospital located at the Mount Sinai campus in Manhattan, New York City, New York. The hospital has 102 pediatric beds. It is affiliated with The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and is a member of the Mount Sinai Health System. The hospital provides comprehensive pediatric specialties and subspecialties to infants, children, teens, and young adults aged 0–21 throughout the region.The hospital is rated as the fourth best children's hospital in New York State (behind Cohen Children's, Morgan Stanley, and CHAM) on the 2020-21 U.S. News & World Report.

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS), formerly the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, is a private medical school in New York City. Chartered by Mount Sinai Hospital in 1963, it is the academic teaching arm of The Mount Sinai Health System, which manages eight hospital campuses in the New York metropolitan area. It is ranked #11 among American medical schools by the 2023 US News & World Report. In 2018, it was ranked 18th in the country for biomedical research and led the country in neuroscience research funding from the National Institutes of Health (#1), receiving $31.2 million in 2018. It attracted $348.5 million in total NIH funding in 2018.In 2018, the MD program matriculated 140 students from 6,156 applicants. The median undergraduate GPA of matriculants is 3.84, and the median MCAT score is in the 95th percentile. The MSTP is currently training over 90 MD/PhD students.

St. Bernard's School, founded in 1904 by John Card Jenkins, is a private, all-male elementary school in the Carnegie Hill neighborhood of Manhattan's Upper East Side. The school shield depicts an eagle (representing the United States of America), a lion (representing Great Britain), a book (symbol of education), and a cross (representing a tradition of Christianity). Although the school's name is spelled (though not pronounced) the same way as that of the breed of dog, which is also its mascot, it was in fact named for the rue St-Bernard in Brussels, Belgium, where a relative of one of St. Bernard's founders had also founded a school.

The Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for Multiple Sclerosis is a multiple sclerosis research and treatment center in New York City. In 2005, it received one of the largest grants ever given for MS research in the United States, a $25 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to study the effectiveness of combining two disease-modifying drugs, and the individual factors that determine disability.The Center is a part of Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan. Both the Center's Director, Fred D. Lublin, M.D., and the Center's Medical Director, Aaron E. Miller, M.D. are listed in New York Magazine's "Best Doctors of 2008."

The New York Academy of Medicine (the Academy) is a health policy and advocacy organization founded in 1847 by a group of leading New York metropolitan area physicians as a voice for the medical profession in medical practice and public health reform. The early leaders of the academy were invested in the reform movements of the day and worked to improve public health by focusing on the living conditions of the poor. In 1866, the academy was instrumental in the establishment of the Metropolitan Board of Health, the first modern municipal public health authority in the United States and the precursor of today's Department of Health.: 13  In recent years the academy has functioned as an effective advocate in public health reform, as well as a major center for health education. As of 2016, the academy will celebrate its 169th year. The academy's work now focuses on advancing urban health in New York City and around the world. Today, the academy has over three-thousand fellows, that include doctors, nurses, health care administrators, and professionals in all fields dedicated to maintaining and improving health.

Carver Houses, or George Washington Carver Houses, is a public housing development built and maintained by the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) in Spanish Harlem, a neighborhood of Manhattan.Carver Houses has 13 buildings, on a campus with an area of 14.63 acres (5.92 ha). Nine of those (I-II, V-IX, XII-XIII) are fifteen stories tall, while the other four (III-IV, X-XI) are six stories tall. The development is bordered by East 99th Street to the south, East 106th Street to the north, Park Avenue to the east, and Madison Avenue to the west. In addition, East 102nd Street and East 104th Street run through the campus. The nine buildings of Carver Houses have a total of 1,246 apartments housing approximately 2,723 residents.

The Museum of the City of New York (MCNY) is a history and art museum in Manhattan, New York City, New York. It was founded by Henry Collins Brown, in 1923 to preserve and present the history of New York City, and its people. It is located at 1220–1227 Fifth Avenue between East 103rd to 104th Streets, across from Central Park on Manhattan's Upper East Side, at the northern end of the Museum Mile section of Fifth Avenue. The red brick with marble trim museum was built in 1929–30 and was designed by Joseph H. Freedlander in the neo-Georgian style, with statues of Alexander Hamilton and DeWitt Clinton by sculptor Adolph Alexander Weinman facing Central Park from niches in the facade.The museum is a private non-profit organization which receives government support as a member of New York City's Cultural Institutions Group, commonly known as "CIG"s. Its other sources of income are endowments, admission fees, and contributions.The museum is hosting the "New York At Its Core" permanent exhibition, the first-ever museum presentation of New York City's full history.

Manhattan Country School is an independent coeducational PreK-8 school with its main location in Manhattan and a farm in Roxbury, New York. Founded in 1966, it is distinctive because of its multicultural and progressive educational philosophy, the diversity of its student body, its sliding scale tuition system, its incorporation of farm experiences and the activism of its students.

The Ogden Codman House at 7 East 96th Street between Fifth and Madison Avenues was built in 1912-13 as a residence for the architect and decorator, Ogden Codman Jr. The building is located on the border between the Carnegie Hill and East Harlem neighborhoods of Manhattan, New York City. Codman designed it himself in the 18th century French Renaissance Revival style. It was formerly the site of the Nippon Club and later Manhattan Country School. It is currently the site of the Wetherby-Pembridge school. Built of limestone, the Codman mansion has been called an "airy frivolity", but the AIA Guide to New York City describes it as "a Parisian townhouse cut down to American 'size'." The building is distinguished by wrought-iron balconies, dormer windows, and a porte-cochère leading to a courtyard and garage. As one of the last three residences built in the 1910s and still standing in East 96th Street, the building was designated a New York City Landmark on May 25, 1967. It is located within the Upper East Side Historic District.

Frances Hodgson Burnett Memorial Fountain, located near Fifth Avenue and the Museum of the City of New York in Manhattan's Central Park, is an outdoor bronze sculpture and fountain which serves as a memorial to Burnett, the author of several literary classics including The Secret Garden and Little Lord Fauntleroy.

La Scuola d'Italia Guglielmo Marconi is an Italian international school in Manhattan, New York City, serving Pre-Kindergarten through high school/liceo. The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs established the school in 1977. The Italian government accredits the school, and the New York State Association of Independent Schools accredited the school in 2006. It is the sole bilingual English-Italian day school in North America; The Italian government finances some of the school's expenses. As of 2015 the school has about 300 students. The school holds an annual benefit dinner.
