St. Donato Roman Catholic Church (Philadelphia)

Lewis C. Cassidy Academics Plus School is a historic elementary school located in the Overbrook neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is part of the School District of Philadelphia. The building was designed by Irwin T. Catharine and built in 1922–1924. It is a three-story, nine bay by five bay, brick building on a raised basement in the Colonial Revival-style. It features large stone arch surrounds on the first level, a projecting entrance pavilion, a double stone cornice, and brick parapet topped by stone coping.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. Demolition of the building began in September 2021. The new school construction will be complete in June 2023.

Millbourne station is a rapid transit station on SEPTA's Market-Frankford Line, located adjacent east of an intersection between Millbourne Avenue and Wister Drive in Millbourne, Pennsylvania. It is one of two ground-level stops on the Market–Frankford Line, as well as one of two SEPTA rapid transit stations located outside the Philadelphia city limits. The station lies two blocks north of the line's namesake street.

Located at the intersection of 63rd and Market Streets in the Haddington neighborhood of West Philadelphia, it is the westernmost stop on the line within the Philadelphia city limits. The station is also served by SEPTA bus routes 21 and 31. The station is also the northern terminus of the Cobbs Creek Trail.

Millbourne is a borough in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. As of the 2020 Census, the population is 1,212. Millbourne borders Philadelphia along Cobbs Creek. The borough was the former site of the Sellers Family's Millbourne Mills. The name of Millbourne Mills comes from the word Mill and "bourne" meaning creek. Millbourne students attend Upper Darby School District schools. Magisterial courts with presiding jurisdiction for Millbourne are also located in Upper Darby. Millbourne, at over 17,000 people per square mile, is the most densely populated incorporated place in Pennsylvania, and 24th in the entire United States.

Monte Vista is a historic apartment complex located in the Overbrook neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The complex consists of four, four-story stone buildings constructed in 1910, 1915, 1916, and 1921.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Walnut Park Plaza Hotel is a historic apartment hotel located in the Cobbs Creek neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1928, and is a nine-story, red brick building in the Classical Revival-style. The tower takes an "E" shape above the second story. The building was remodeled in 1955. The building has 224 residential units, ranging in size from 539 to 836 square feet (50 – 78 m²). Also on the property are two outbuildings that once provided access to underground storage. It has operated as a residence for senior citizens since 1963.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Haddington is a neighborhood in the West Philadelphia section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Its borders are defined as Haverford Avenue/Girard Avenue to the north, 52nd Street to the east, Market Street to the south, and 67th Street to the most western edge of the neighborhood. It is a largely African American community of mostly two-story rowhouses with a large proportion of elderly residents and a high home-ownership rate. Near the intersection of Vine Street and 56th Street, new construction and community facilities were built in the 1970s thanks to the Haddington Leadership Organization. Haddington's Historic District is located on the 6000 blocks of Market, Ludlow, and Chestnut Streets, showcasing colonial and classical revival styles of architecture built from 1909 to 1915. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. Also listed on the National Register of Historic Places are the George L. Brooks School and Thomas Dunlap School.

60th Street station is an elevated rapid transit station on SEPTA's Market–Frankford Line, located at the intersection of 60th Street and Market Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The station straggles the line between two West Philadelphia neighborhoods, Haddington to the north and Cobbs Creek. The station is also served by SEPTA bus routes 31 and 46.

Callowhill Depot is a bus and trolley barn operated by the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), located in West Philadelphia, near the Delaware County border. It was built in 1913 by the Philadelphia Rapid Transit Company (PRT) and was later operated by the Philadelphia Transportation Company (PTC) before being taken over by SEPTA. The depot was constructed as part of the Thomas E. Mitten modernization program. Since its construction, the depot has suffered fire damage and reconstruction in 1949, 1950, and 1995. The Callowhill Depot is located in the heart of West Philadelphia, located on the southwest corner of the 5900 block of Callowhill Street with the bus and trolley bays across the street. The depot is surrounded by 59th, Vine, 58th, and Callowhill Streets. Callowhill Depot was an all-trolley depot until May 28, 1955, when Route 70 (52nd Street Line) was converted to bus operation. Callowhill Depot was the base of all streetcar routes that operated in West Philadelphia, until National City Lines converted most of them to buses. The depot is accessible only to SEPTA employees, however, transit enthusiasts often photograph streetcars pulling in and out. For safety reasons, SEPTA Transit Police will stop and question anyone found on the property without reason or authorization.

The 69th Street Transportation Center is a SEPTA terminal in the Terminal Square section of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, just west of the city limits of Philadelphia. The terminal serves the Market–Frankford Line, Norristown High Speed Line, and the Media–Sharon Hill Line trolleys, and multiple bus routes. It is located in the at the end of 69th Street, a major retail corridor in Upper Darby, across Market Street (Route 3) from the Tower Theater. Until 2011, the station was primarily known as 69th Street Terminal. 69th Street is the second busiest transfer point in the SEPTA system (after 15th Street/City Hall station) serving 35,000 passengers every weekday. It is also the only SEPTA facility to serve both City Transit and Suburban Transit routes.

On October 26, 2020, Walter Wallace Jr., a 27-year-old African-American man, was shot by Philadelphia police officers Sean Matarazzo and Thomas Munz in Cobbs Creek, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The two officers arrived in the area to respond to a domestic dispute. When they arrived, Wallace walked out of his house carrying a knife. The two officers backed away while telling him to drop the knife shortly before they each fired several rounds at Wallace, hitting him in the shoulder and chest. He later died from his wounds in the hospital. Wallace's family stated that Wallace was having a mental health crisis. Wallace's killing gained attention after a cellphone video of the incident was posted to social media platforms, where it went viral. Protests against the killing occurred throughout Philadelphia in late October. Peaceful protests took place, as well as several protests which escalated into violence and looting, leading to arrests, injuries to police and protesters, deployment of the Pennsylvania National Guard, and a citywide curfew.
