OK Cafe, founded in 1987, is a restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia, that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. The restaurant, known for its Southern comfort food, has been featured in Forbes, Southern Living, and Ladies Home Journal. In a review of OK Cafe, Atlanta Intown wrote "time stands still at the OK Cafe. It’s predictable, delivering all the comfort foods of Southern living that this restaurant has perfected over its very many years as an Atlanta landmark."

The Cecil and Hermione Alexander House, also known as Shenandoah, in Atlanta, Georgia is a modern, circular plan house designed by, and home for, Atlanta architect Cecil Alexander. The home was featured in Progressive Architecture in 1959 and in Life in 1959 and 1961. One aspect commented on was its supposedly inexpensive cable-suspended plywood roof.According to the National Park Service: The Cecil and Hermione Alexander House is a modern house with a circular plan designed by Atlanta architect Cecil Alexander as his family’s residence. Completed in 1957, the house was one of the first modernist houses in Atlanta. The home features curved brick walls, flat roof, and sheet glass walls, and is organized around a central court, while the folded-plate roof floods the interior with light. According to Alexander, the circular plan “is so arranged that the family at least once or twice a day has to get together, just by necessity.” The building was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on March 25, 2010. The listing was announced as the featured listing in the National Park Service's weekly list of April 2, 2010.The central courtyard was originally designed to encircle an old oak tree on the property, but the tree was not in good enough condition to be kept.

Paces is a neighborhood of Atlanta, US. It is part of the Buckhead district and located in the far northwest corner of the city. Paces is bounded on the northwest by the Chattahoochee River, which is also the Cobb/Fulton county line. Just across the river in Cobb is the unincorporated community of Vinings, which was originally known as Paces after founder Hardy Pace, who operated Pace's Ferry. Cumberland is also located on the other side of the river. It is perhaps Atlanta's most affluent neighborhood, with many houses selling in the US$5–$7 million range, and some for more than $20 million.

North Atlanta High School is a comprehensive public high school of approximately 1,800 students in the Paces neighborhood of the Buckhead community of Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The school is a part of Atlanta Public Schools (APS). The school was formed after North Fulton High School combined with Northside High School during the 1991–1992 school year. This merger resulted in North Atlanta High School being the only high school in APS to host two magnet programs: the International Studies Program and the Performance Arts. The Performance Arts program is now technically defunct, but North Atlanta continues to encourage students' artistic abilities and talents in performance.

Through much of the 19th century, Pace's Ferry was an important ferry across the Chattahoochee River near Atlanta. Started in the early 1830s near Peachtree Creek, it was run by Hardy Pace, one of the city's founders. It was an important transportation link to northwestern Georgia, especially prior to the construction of the State Road (the Western & Atlantic Railroad) to Chattanooga. In Vinings (formerly Paces), Pace's Mill was a gristmill begun by Hardy Pace, founded to diversify his holdings after the railroad was built. The short Paces Mill Road still exists today. Just across the river is Paces, the northwesternmost neighborhood of Atlanta. During the Atlanta Campaign of the American Civil War, the Battle of Pace's Ferry was fought July 5, 1864.
