St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church is a place of worship in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The building was constructed in the latter half of the 19th century and serves the surrounding neighbourhoods. Additionally, St. Bartholomew's is, due to its location next to Rideau Hall, the place of worship for various Governors General of Canada (whether or not of the Anglican faith) and some members of the Canadian Royal Family. It is also the regimental chapel of the Governor General's Foot Guards.

St. Albans Anglican Church is an Anglican church in the Sandy Hill neighbourhood of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is one of Ottawa's oldest surviving church buildings and one of its most historic.

The Rideau Skating Rink was an indoor skating and curling facility located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Consisting of a curling rink and a skating rink, it was one of the first indoor rinks in Canada. The Rideau Rink was scheduled to open on January 10, 1889, but unseasonably mild weather postponed the grand opening to February 1. It opened on January 25, 1889 for select V.I.P.s although this was a misunderstanding and should not have denied entry to season ticket holders. It was located on Theodore Street, (now Laurier Avenue) at Waller Street, at the present location of the Arts Hall of the University of Ottawa, near the Rideau Canal. Besides curling and recreational skating, the rink was also used for ice hockey and figure skating. It was the site of the first recorded organized women's ice hockey game on March 8, 1889. It was also the site of the first Ontario men's ice hockey championship game on March 7, 1891.

The Embassy of the Republic of Angola in Canada was the embassy of Angola in Canada. It was located in Panet House at the corner of Laurier Avenue and King Edward Avenue, next to the University of Ottawa. The embassy was closed in November 2018.

CHUO-FM is a Canadian community-based campus radio station, broadcasting at 89.1 FM in Ottawa, on Rogers digital cable on channel 943, via RealAudio stream and in MP3. It is the campus radio station of the University of Ottawa, a member of the National Campus and Community Radio Association in Canada, and a member of the world community radio association AMARC. CHUO's studios are located on the campus of the University of Ottawa, while its transmitter is located in Camp Fortune, Quebec.

The Telfer School of Management (French: École de gestion Telfer) is a business school located at the University of Ottawa in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The school is named in honour of one university alumnus, Ian Telfer (MBA 1976), who made a significant donation to the University of Ottawa. The donation of $25 million to the school's business program was the largest donation in Canadian history to be given to a business school, until Steven Smith's donation of $50 Million to the Queen's School of Business.

University of Ottawa’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) (or l'École supérieure d'affaires publiques et internationales de l'Université d'Ottawa (ESAPI)) is a professional public and international policy school at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ottawa in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

The Ottawa Little Theatre, originally called the Ottawa Drama League at its inception in 1913, is the longest continuously running community theatre in Canada, and one of the oldest in North America. Based in Canada's capital city, it owns its own 360-seat theatre where it presents three-week runs of nine plays per season from September through July. The OLT's longevity and success are impressive, especially as it receives no regular government funding. In 1970, when the Little Theatre (originally a church that had been renovated in 1928) was completely destroyed by fire, the OLT built and opened a new theatre on the same site within two years, and retired the debt within five years. The OLT's income is generated almost entirely from ticket sales and donations. All its directors, actors, designers and stage crew are volunteers. A number of Canadian actors have performed on the OLT stage, including Amelia Hall, Saul Rubinek, Rich Little, Robert MacNeil, Dan Aykroyd, Adam Beach, Luba Goy and Raoul Bhaneja. Famed photographer Yousuf Karsh also has a rich history with the Ottawa Little Theatre developing his lighting techniques while photographing multiple productions in the 1930s. It was there that he met his first wife, Solonge. The theatre has several original photographs of Karsh on display. The Dominion Drama Festival, founded in 1933, took place at the Little Theatre for its first five years. In 1937, the theatre launched a National One-Act Playwriting Competition which continues to this day. Winners have included Robertson Davies, John Murrell, Erika Ritter, Catherine Banks and Ken Mitchell. The Ottawa Little Theatre's website includes a searchable database of Past Productions with cast and crew members as well as photographs from the more than 1,000 plays that have been performed throughout its history.

The University of Ottawa (French: Université d'Ottawa), often referred to as uOttawa or U of O, is a bilingual public research university in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The main campus is located on 42.5 hectares (105 acres) directly to the northeast of Downtown Ottawa across the Rideau Canal in the Sandy Hill neighbourhood. The University of Ottawa was first established as the College of Bytown in 1848 by the first bishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Ottawa, Joseph-Bruno Guigues. Placed under the direction of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, it was renamed the College of Ottawa in 1861 and received university status five years later through a royal charter. On 5 February 1889, the university was granted a pontifical charter by Pope Leo XIII, elevating the institution to a pontifical university. The university was reorganized on July 1, 1965, as a corporation, independent from any outside body or religious organization. As a result, the civil and pontifical charters were kept by the newly created Saint Paul University, federated with the university. The remaining civil faculties were retained by the reorganized university.The University of Ottawa is the largest English-French bilingual university in the world. The university offers a wide variety of academic programs, administered by ten faculties including the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine, the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, the Telfer School of Management, and the University of Ottawa Faculty of Social Sciences. The University of Ottawa Faculty of Law (French: Faculté de droit de l'Université d'Ottawa) is the law school at the University of Ottawa, located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Established in 1953, the Faculty is today divided into Civil Law and Common Law sections, the two formally recognized legal traditions in Canada. The law school has produced a diverse array of successful alumni. These include the current Chief Justice of Canada Richard Wagner, and deans of several law schools. The Faculty is home to several specialist research centres, including the Centre for Health Law, Policy and Ethics; the Public Law Centre; and Centre for Law, Technology and Society.The faculty is very highly rated and maintains close links with the legal communities in Quebec, Ontario, and abroad. The Faculty of Law is also home to two elite bilingual law journals, one produced by the civil law section and the other produced by the common law section, which have significantly contributed to the development of law by the Supreme Court of Canada.

The Constitution Building is an eleven-story office building in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Located at 305 Rideau Street at the corner of King Edward, the building was used by the Department of National Defence (DND). As of 2015, the building has been decommissioned and all sections of DND have been relocated. Amenities at the building included a cafeteria, barber shop and convenience store, all of which were accessible to the general public as well as employees of the building. The building was constructed in 1963 by the Bourque brothers and originally named the Bourque Memorial Building, in honour of their father and former Mayor of Ottawa Eddy Bourque.After significant renovations, the Constitution Building is, as of 2020, an all-inclusive student apartment building branded under the name Théo.

The Ottawa Jail Hostel is a hostel operated by Saintlo Hostels and located at 75 Nicholas Street in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The hostel was originally the Carleton County Gaol (jail), more commonly known as the Nicholas Street Gaol or Ottawa Jail. When the jail closed in 1972, Hostelling International purchased and converted the building, but left much of the structure intact, allowing guests to experience spending a night "in jail". The top floor, which had served as the jail's death row, has been restored to much of its original condition and daily tours are conducted. In 2009, the hostel's bar, Mugshots, was opened to the public. In July 2011, the courtyard space of the former jail was converted into an outdoor bar for the summer months.As of April 1, 2022 the hostel is no longer affiliated with Hostelling International. The hostel intends to reopen in April 2023 under Saintlo Hostels.
