The Dundee–Happy Hollow Historic District is located west of Midtown Omaha, Nebraska. It covers the area between Harney Street on the south, Hamilton Street on the north, Happy Hollow Boulevard on the west, and 46th Street on the east. The "heart" of Dundee is located at 50th and Underwood Avenue in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. It was founded in 1880 and annexed into the city in 1915. Dundee is home to Warren Buffett and nationally syndicated editorial cartoonist Jeff Koterba and was the hometown of filmmaker Alexander Payne. Actor Henry Fonda additionally lived in the Dundee neighborhood.

The Dundee Dell (originally known as the Dundee Delicatessen) is a restaurant bar in the Dundee area of Omaha, Nebraska. It is perhaps best known for its homemade fish and chips and collection of single malt Scotch whisky, credited to being one of the largest in the United States. It also carries an extensive beer selection, including some fourteen varieties on tap and several hundred in bottles. The restaurant began as a delicatessen in a one-car garage near 50th Street and Dodge Street in 1920. In 1934, after being granted a liquor license, the deli opened as a restaurant and was renamed Dundee Dell. It was relocated at the intersection between 50th Street and Underwood Avenue in 2000. The place bills itself as a neighborhood pub, and has decorated its walls with memorabilia from various British and Irish beer and liquor companies, particularly Guinness. The restaurant's parking lot and exterior is briefly featured in the 1999 film Election.In July 2020, the restaurant owners announced its closure due to a lack of business from the coronavirus pandemic.

The Dundee City Hall and Fire Station was located at 4921 Underwood Avenue in the present-day Dundee neighborhood of Omaha, Nebraska.

The Dundee Theater is an historic movie theater located at 4952 Dodge Street in Omaha, Nebraska. Now operated by the nonprofit Film Streams, the Dundee is the longest-surviving neighborhood cinema in Omaha.

Metcalfe Park is a small park bearing the namesake of the surrounding neighborhood of Metcalfe, Omaha, Nebraska, located at 1700 Country Club Avenue. One lap around the park perimeter sidewalk (excluding the playground area) is equivalent to 1/3 mile (almost 0.5 km). It occupies approximately 4 acres and is bounded by Decatur St (north), Happy Hollow Ave (south), 51st St (west) and Country Club Ave (east).

The Saddle Creek Underpass is located in the Midtown area of Omaha, Nebraska. Designed to carry Saddle Creek Road under Dodge Street (US 6), the underpass was constructed in 1934 by the Works Progress Administration. It was included on the Bridges in Nebraska Multiple Property Submission on June 29, 1992.

Memorial Park is a park located at 6005 Underwood Avenue near the Dundee neighborhood of Omaha, Nebraska. The park was created as a memorial for all of the men and women from Douglas County who have served in the armed forces.

Walnut Hill is a historic neighborhood located in north Omaha, Nebraska. It is bounded by North 40th Street on the east, Cuming Street on the south, Northwest Radial Highway and Saddle Creek Road on the west and Hamilton Street on the north.

The Elmwood Tower (formerly known as the Masonic Manor) is a high-rise residential building located at 801 South 52nd Street in midtown Omaha, Nebraska. Completed in 1963, the Elmwood Tower is a 321-ft (97-m) high-rise building, rising to 21 stories and currently the eighth tallest high-rise in Omaha. The building provides residential apartments for people aged 50 and older.

The AT&T Building is a 265 ft (81 m), 16-story skyscraper in Downtown Omaha, Nebraska, United States. It was the tallest structure in downtown Omaha until the Woodmen Tower and later First National Bank Tower surpassed it in height. The original 15 story building was built in 1918, a twelve-story addition was added on the north end in 1957 and another on the west end in 1964. An additional story was added in 1970 to bring it to sixteen stories. It was home to The Northwestern Bell headquarters until 1991 when US West merged its three Bell Operating Companies. The building is now used for CenturyLink's Omaha operations.

The University of Nebraska Omaha (Omaha or UNO) is a public research university in Omaha, Nebraska. Founded in 1908 by faculty from the Omaha Presbyterian Theological Seminary as a private non-sectarian college, the university was originally known as the University of Omaha. Originally meant to provide a Christian-based education free from ecclesiastical control, the university served as a strong alternative to the city's many successful religiously affiliated institutions.Since the year 2000, the university has more than tripled its student housing and opened a 450-bed student dormitory and academic space on its south campus in 2017. It has also recently constructed modern facilities for its engineering, information technology, business, and biomechanics programs. UNO currently offers more than 200 programs of study across 6 different colleges and has over 60 classroom, student, athletic, and research facilities spread across 3 campuses. It is classified among "R2: Doctoral Universities – High research activity".The Omaha Mavericks compete in 15 NCAA Division I sports in both the NCHC and Summit League conferences. The ice hockey, basketball, and volleyball teams compete in the new Baxter Arena located on the university's Center street campus. Softball and baseball facilities are currently under construction. UNO enjoyed national attention in 2015, when its men's hockey team reached the national semifinal (Frozen Four) of the NCAA tournament for the first time.
