Miaoli (Chinese: 苗栗; pinyin: Miáolì) is a railway station in Miaoli County, Taiwan served by Taiwan Railways.

Miaoli Yuqing Temple (Chinese: 苗栗玉清宮; pinyin: Miáolì Yùqīng Gōng) is a temple located in Miaoli City, Miaoli County, Taiwan. The temple is dedicated to Lord Guan or Guansheng Dijun (關聖帝君), the deified form of Guan Yu.

Miaoli County (Mandarin Pinyin: miáo lì xiàn; Hakka PFS: Mèu-li̍t-yen; Hokkien POJ: Biâu-le̍k-koān or Miâu-le̍k-koān) is a county in western Taiwan. Miaoli is adjacent with Hsinchu County and Hsinchu City to the north, Taichung to the south, and borders the Taiwan Strait to the west. Miaoli is classified as a county in central Taiwan by the National Development Council, while the Taiwan Central Weather Bureau classifies Miaoli as a county in northern Taiwan. Miaoli City is the capital of the county, and is also known as "Mountain Town", owing to the number of mountains nearby, making it a destination for hiking.

Miaoli Wenchang Temple (Chinese: 苗栗文昌祠; pinyin: Miáolì Wénchāng Cì), formerly known as Yingcai Academy (Chinese: 英才書院; pinyin: Yīngcái Shūyuàn), is a temple in Miaoli City, Miaoli County, Taiwan. The temple is dedicated to Wenchang Dijun, the deity of culture and literature. Confucius, Cangjie and Kui Xing are also worshipped in the main shrine. During the Qing Dynasty era, the temple also served as the county magistrate's office before a separate county hall was built.
