St. Augustine's Seminary is the archdiocesan seminary of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Toronto, and is located by the shore of Lake Ontario in Scarborough. It is a member of the Toronto School of Theology.

St. John Henry Newman Catholic High School (also known as SJHNCHS, St. John Henry Newman CHS, St. John Henry Newman, colloquially referred to as Newman), formerly known under its original name Cardinal Newman Catholic High School until 2011 and Blessed Cardinal Newman Catholic High School until 2019, is a Roman Catholic high school in the Scarborough district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, administered by the Toronto Catholic District School Board.The school was founded in 1973 when the St. Augustine's Seminary decided to make use of extra classroom space as a result of its own declining student enrolment. The school was named after Saint John Henry Newman, a 19th-century English convert to Catholicism and prolific author. Located on a magnificent 18 hectare campus, St. John Henry Newman Catholic High School overlooks a broad vista that contains both the Scarborough Bluffs and Lake Ontario. The motto for St. John Henry Newman is Growing in Faith and Truth.

Scarborough GO Station is a train station served by GO Transit's Lakeshore East line, located in the Scarborough district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.The station is located south of St. Clair Avenue, just west of Midland Avenue, at the end of Reeve Avenue. A footpath connects the community through Natal Park, from the southwest end of the parking lot. Elevator construction was completed in mid-February 2010 making the station fully accessible. Formerly known as Scarborough Junction, the station had originally been located northeast of St. Clair Avenue on the west side of Midland Avenue, where the Stouffville line now branches off to the north on what was previously the CN Uxbridge Subdivision. The Scarborough Junction neighbourhood was named after the station. In 1967, the present station was relocated and opened for GO Transit service.

The Scarborough Bluffs, also known as The Bluffs, is an escarpment in the Scarborough district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. There are nine parks along the bluffs, with Bluffers Park being the only one with a beach. Forming much of the eastern portion of Toronto's waterfront, the Scarborough Bluffs stands above the shoreline of Lake Ontario. At its highest point, the escarpment rises 90 metres (300 ft) above the coastline and spans a length of 15 kilometres (9.3 mi).

Scarborough Junction (also known as Kennedy Park) is a small neighbourhood in the Scarborough district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is bordered by Birchmount Road, Brimley Road, Eglinton Avenue, and St. Clair Avenue. Scarbrough Junction has an approximated population of 20,000. The population consists of 1/4 Caucasian, 2/4 Asian (South and East) and 1/4 other (Black, Latino, etc.)

R. H. King Academy (RH King, RHKA or King), formerly known as Scarborough High School, Scarborough Collegiate Institute and R.H. King Collegiate Institute is a secondary school and a de facto alternative school located in Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, part of the Toronto District School Board. The school was established in 1922, then became a collegiate in 1930, renamed in 1954 and again in 1989. This school was named after Reginald Harold King (February 16, 1896 - November 4, 1962), a Canadian educator and classicist. It was the first secondary school built in the former township of Scarborough and second-oldest surviving institution in Scarborough, after Agincourt Collegiate Institute. The R. H. King school motto is "Per Ardua Sapientia" which translates into Through the hard task of wisdom.

Birchmount Park Collegiate Institute (Birchmount Park CI, BPCI, or Birchmount Park) is a high school located in Scarborough, a part of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It operates under the Scarborough Board of Education with the latter board merged into the present Toronto District School Board. The school sits atop the Scarborough Bluffs overlooking Lake Ontario and Birchmount Park itself. The motto is Vertias Omnia Vincit ("Truth conquers all").

Midland Avenue Collegiate Institute (also known as Midland Avenue CI, MA, MACI, Midland CI, or Midland), formerly Midland Avenue Secondary School and initially known as Central Collegiate Institute is a Toronto District School Board-owned alternative learning complex in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada consisting of Scarborough Centre for Alternative Studies (SCAS), South East Year Round Alternative Centre (SEYRAC), and Caring and Safe Schools Midland program. This three-storey public high school opened in 1962 for the Scarborough Board of Education until its closure in 2000 due to low enrolment. Throughout its existence, Midland's academic and athletic programs were flexible, relevant, and student-centred with courses designed to include various instructional techniques catering to its diverse population. Its facilities include a greater auditorium, swimming pool, rounded cafeteria and larger technical shops. Midland's motto is Semper ad Optimum which translates to "Always strive for the best".

Scarborough Centre for Alternative Studies (SCAS), formerly Tabor Park Vocational School is an alternative and adult high school serving Scarborough, a part of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It operates under the Toronto District School Board and was previously part of the pre-amalgamated board, Scarborough Board of Education prior to merger. Originated at Birchmount Park Collegiate Institute in 1977 as the re-entry program, the school opened in 1986 at the Tabor Park building and as of 2010, the school is located in the campus of the former Midland Avenue Collegiate Institute sharing with the fellow schools, South East Year Round Alternative Centre and Caring and Safe Schools Alternative Program Area C. SCAS is located on Midland Avenue south of Eglinton Avenue East.

Birchmount Stadium is a multi-purpose outdoor sports facility in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located near Kingston Road and Birchmount Road in the former city of Scarborough. Its original capacity was 6,345, and it was built for what was then the Borough of Scarborough.The stadium plays host to many amateur sporting events including football, soccer, rugby league and athletics. It most recently played host to the opening round of Canada Rugby League's Ontario conference. It played host to the University of Toronto's Varsity Blues Football team in 2002 and 2006 while their Varsity Stadium was being demolished and rebuilt. It also previously played host to the Metro Lions. It also serves as the primary stadium for the annual Robbie International Soccer Tournament, which bills itself as "the world's largest annual charitable youth soccer tournament." The Canadian band Barenaked Ladies notably name-dropped the stadium and the tournament at the end of their 1998 #1 hit, "One Week", singing "Birchmount Stadium, home of the Robbie" as the song's closing line. The east grandstand of the stadium was demolished in the spring of 2006, reducing seating capacity to about 2,000. The original grass field and running track were removed. A new track and artificial turf for football/soccer were installed during the summer of 2006. The newly renovated Birchmount Stadium opened up for the first time as a premier facility on September 15, 2006. They hosted the University of Toronto Varsity Blues vs Waterloo. Birchmount Park Collegiate Institute also uses the stadium for its home football, rugby, soccer and field hockey games in the Toronto District Secondary School Athletic Association. On September 2, 1996, Diego Maradona played for Toronto Italia in one of his last professional appearances.Since 2014, the Soccer club Scarborough SC of the Canadian Soccer League has played their home games at Birchmount stadium. As of 2016, Birchmount Stadium is the home ground of League1 Ontario team, Toronto Skillz FC.

Cliffcrest is a residential neighborhood in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is located along the shores of Lake Ontario in the district of Scarborough, bordered by Midland Avenue to the west, the Canadian National Railway to the north, and Bellamy Road to the east.The name Cliffcrest is in reference to the Scarborough Bluffs, which are sandy cliffs along the lake's edge. The neighborhood feels much more like being at a cottage than being in Canada's largest and most densely populated city. For the smaller cottage-like homes, the average value is only middle of the pack, making it affordable by Toronto standards. Most homes are single, detached houses with a high ownership rate. There are fewer high or mid rise buildings in the area.

The Birchmount Loop marked the easternmost extension of the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) streetcar system. When it was built the old City of Toronto's eastern boundary ended at Victoria Park Avenue, and extending the Kingston Road streetcar east to Birchmount Road took it deep into the Township of Scarborough, Ontario. However, the TTC's Scarboro radial line, originally a privately operated line, continued farther east until 1936.When the TTC was created in 1921 it started to build streetcar service farther east. They first extended double track TTC service to the current Bingham Loop, at Victoria Park Avenue, in 1922 replacing a portion of the Scarboro radial.The TTC stopped running Kingston Road streetcars as far as the Birchmount Loop in 1954 after the introduction of a new fare zone system and a reorganization of the suburban bus network. The streetcar route was transferred to Scarborough bus route, 86 Scarboro and now as 12 Kingston Road. The site of the old loop on the southeast corner is now occupied by a series of homes.
