The Point Pleasant–Byram Bridge was a bridge that spanned the Delaware River between Point Pleasant, Bucks County, Pennsylvania and the Byram section of Kingwood, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.

Lumberville is a village on the Delaware River in Solebury Township, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located seven miles north of New Hope and is situated along River Road. Its ZIP Code is 18933. The village was settled by Colonel George Wall, a Revolutionary War officer and Bucks County sheriff. He acquired 15 acres of land in 1775 and established two saw mills, a general store, and a school for surveyors. As such, it was originally named Wall's Saw Mills and Walls Landing. The mills changed hands frequently over the next century and were ultimately abandoned in the late 1800s. The Black Bass Hotel was built in the early 1740s. It had many names over the years including Wall's Tavern, The Lumberville Hotel, Temple Bar, and The Rising Sun. It fell into decline in the late 19th century, until it was purchased in 1949 by Herbert (Herbie) Ward. He revived the business and ran it until his death 54 years later. The property was purchased by Jack Thompson, owner of the Thompson auto dealerships in Doylestown, in 2008 and underwent a major refurbishment in 2009. Thompson died in December 2020. His family continues to operate the inn and restaurant.In 1835, a covered bridge was built across the Delaware River to Raven Rock, New Jersey. The river is approximately 800 feet wide at this point. One span of it was carried away in the flood of 1903. That section of the bridge was rebuilt as a steel span. The bridge was used until 1946. In 1949, a new bridge was built on the piers of the original, but it was built only for foot traffic so that the people of Lumberville could have access to the Pennsylvania Railroad commuter passenger service in Raven Rock. The rail service was discontinued in 1952. The Delaware Division of the Pennsylvania Canal runs along the river between Lumberville and the river. Lumberville was the location of Lock #12, a set of locks to raise and lower the barges that travelled between Easton and Bristol, Pennsylvania. The lock house was washed away in the flood of 1955.

The 79-acre (0.32 km2) Bull's Island Recreation Area is on Bull's Island at Raven Rock along the Delaware River approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) north of Stockton, within Delaware Township in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. The park is a part of the 3,578 acres (14.48 km2) Delaware and Raritan Canal State Park. It offers a boat launch, fishing, and a nature trail. Canoes, kayaks, tubes, and rafts can be rented three miles north in Point Pleasant. The surrounding park includes a portion of the D&R Canal Trail, a multi-use trail built on the former Belvidere-Delaware Railroad bed that runs along the island on a north-south route. The park is operated and maintained by the New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry. In June 2011, William Arias, 46, of Bound Brook, New Jersey was killed by a falling tree while sleeping in a tent in the upper river section of the Bull's Island campground. The state of New Jersey determined that silt buildup from repeated floods had weakened roots of trees in this area. The park system decided to permanently close campground area and return it to a natural state.

Raven Rock is an unincorporated community and hamlet along the Delaware River approximately three miles (4.8 km) north of Stockton along New Jersey Route 29. The hamlet was known earlier as Saxtonville. It is located within Delaware Township in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is the site of Bull's Island Recreation Area. The rock outcrop for which it is named is the southwest corner of the Hunterdon Plateau. The Lumberville–Raven Rock Bridge is a free pedestrian bridge over the Delaware River, owned and operated by the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission. The bridge, formerly a road bridge from 1856 to 1944, connects Bull's Island Recreation Area to Lumberville, Solebury Township, Pennsylvania.From 1852 to 1952 the Pennsylvania Railroad operated a passenger stop in Raven Rock via their Belvidere Division. This segment of the railroad continued to be used for freight until 1978 when the line closed and was subsequently demolished for a recreational trail in the early 1980s.The Raven Rock Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 10, 2015 for its significance in community development and architecture.
