Ulster Hospital

Dundonald (from Irish Dún Dónaill, meaning 'Dónall's stronghold') is a large settlement and civil parish in County Down, Northern Ireland. It lies east of Belfast and is often considered a suburb of the city. It is home to the Ulster Hospital, Dundonald International Ice Bowl, Dundonald Omnipark (Cinema and various eateries), has a Park and Ride facility for the Glider (Belfast Rapid Transit system), access to the Comber Greenway and several housing developments. John de Courcey established a keep including a motte-and-bailey in the 12th century. This is known as Moat Park and can be accessed from Church Green, Comber Road and the Upper Newtownards Road.

Castle Buildings is the name given to a group of Northern Ireland Executive buildings in the Stormont Estate in Belfast. They are the headquarters for the Executive Office, the Department of Health and the Department of Justice. The group of buildings have previously been used by the Northern Ireland Office. The complex is notable as the location of the negotiations leading to the Good Friday Agreement. It was announced on 29 July 2009 that the Department of Justice would be based in two offices on the first floor of Castle Buildings.

Moat Park (/məʊt/) is a large public park located in Church Quarter, Dundonald, Belfast, Northern Ireland. The Moat Park area also includes residential areas such as Moatview Park and Park Avenue. Situated in East Belfast, Dundonald, leads off the Upper Newtownards Road, Comber Road and East Link Road. The surrounding area features Dundonald Village, Dundonald Primary School, Ulster Hospital, McDonald's, and St. Elizabeth's Church and Graveyard. The Enler River flows through the park. Facilities include a bowling pavilion, basketball court, outdoor gym, playing fields, children's play park walks and nature areas. The centerpiece of Moat Park is the Moat Hill, a Norman motte-and-bailey from the 13th century known as Dundonald Fort. Moat Park also has a memorial for WWI and WWII known as the Garden of Reflection, which holds remembrance services. Events and maintenance is managed by the Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council.

St. Elizabeth's, is a religious site for St. Elizabeth's Church and St. Elizabeth's Church Graveyard located at Church Green, Dundonald, Northern Ireland. The site sits on the townland of Church Quarter, beside the Moat Park and off Church Road, Dundonald. It is an active Anglican Christian parish church under the Church of Ireland. St. Elizabeth's Church, also known and originally as Dundonald Parish Church, dates back to the 14th century, it was rebuilt beside the original site in 1966. The original church building is still standing, surrounded by St. Elizabeth's Church Graveyard form the medieval period. Dundonald Library faces Church Green.

Dundonald Cemetery is a large cemetery in Dundonald, Northern Ireland. It opened in 1905 as a municipal burial ground. It is a closed cemetery, except for spaces in existing plots. It is located beside Ardcarn, on the Upper Newtownards Road, East Belfast. The site was originally known as Donall’s Fortress, named after a nearby fort.

The Dundonald International Ice Bowl is an ice rink in Dundonald, County Down, Northern Ireland. It was opened in 1986 by Peter Robinson.

Ardcarn, (Irish: Árd-Carna, Árd-charna) is a Protestant working-class housing estate located in Dundonald, East Belfast, Northern Ireland. The estate sits off the Upper Newtownards Road, across from Stormont. Dundonald Cemetery lies to the side the estate, with the Comber Greenway, Tullycarnet and East Point Entertainment Village lying behind it.

Dundonald House (Irish: Teach Dhún Dónaill, Ulster-Scots: Dundoanal Haa) is a government building in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It is situated in the Stormont Estate along with several other Northern Ireland Civil Service buildings. It is the headquarters of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Northern Ireland Prison Service.

Dundonald railway station was on the Belfast and County Down Railway which ran from Belfast to Newcastle, County Down in Northern Ireland. It was located 4 miles 78 chains (8.0 km) from Belfast Queen's Quay.

Stormont Castle is a manor house on the Stormont Estate in east Belfast which is home to the Northern Ireland Executive and the Executive Office. It is a Grade A listed building.

The Northern Ireland Law Commission was a Law Commission in Northern Ireland created under section 50 of the Justice (Northern Ireland) Act 2002, implementing recommendations following the Good Friday Agreement. It replaced the non-statutory Law Reform Advisory Committee. The Commission has been "non-operational" since April 2015.The Northern Ireland Law Commission kept the law of Northern Ireland under review, with a view to law reform. It had five members, a part-time chairman and four full-time commissioners, appointed by the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland. The chairman was a judge of the High Court of Northern Ireland, who retained judicial office. The other commissioners were a barrister, a solicitor, a legal academic, and a layperson.

Stormont House (also called Speaker's House) is the headquarters of the Northern Ireland Office, situated in the Stormont Estate in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It was designed by Ralph Knott, although Sir Edwin Lutyens has been credited with some involvement.It served as the official residence of the Speaker of the House of Commons of Northern Ireland between 1921 and 1972. For part of the time it was actually lived in by a number of Prime Ministers of Northern Ireland in preference to their own official residence, Stormont Castle, which was used primarily as offices.The Social Security Agency building shares its grounds with Stormont House, however it is separated from the main building by a fence. The Northern Ireland Office is currently based at Stormont House after relocating from Castle Buildings nearby.
