Cambria Heights Academy or Cambria Heights Academy for New Literacies or Q326 is a secondary school in Queens, New York City, United States, serving grades 9 through 12. Foothill Malls is a series of eight traffic medians straddling 193rd Street between Foothill Avenue and Jamaica Avenue in the Hollis neighborhood of Queens, New York City. The surrounding neighborhood was developed in 1885 by Frederick W. Dunton who acquired 136 acres of land to the east of Jamaica for a suburban development. Similar in design to Jamaica Estates, the Holliswood section consisted of detached single-family homes, winding streets, and plenty of green landscaping atop the glacial terminal moraine, while parcels to the south of Hillside Avenue were divided in a rectangular grid in a section designated as Hollis Park Gardens. The central road connecting the two developments was Hollis Park Boulevard, later renamed 193rd Street. Inspired by urban boulevards, it contains malls between Foothill Avenue and Jamaica Avenue.In 1920, the Hollis World War Memorial was installed at the northern side of Hillside Avenue at 193rd Street, listing all Hollis residents killed in World War One, including those who served in the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Canadian Forces and wartime service through the American Red Cross and YMCA. The plaque on a stone monument is flanked by a flagpole.

Hollis is a residential middle-class neighborhood within the southeastern section of the New York City borough of Queens. While a predominantly African-American community, there are small minorities of Hispanics and South Asians residing in the area. Boundaries are considered to be 181st Street to the west, Hillside Avenue to the north, Francis Lewis Boulevard to the east, and Murdock Avenue to the south. Hollis is located between Jamaica to the west and Queens Village to the east. Hollis is located in Queens Community District 12 and its ZIP Codes are 11423 and 11412. It is patrolled by the New York City Police Department's 103rd Precinct. Politically, Hollis is represented by the New York City Council's 23rd and 27th Districts.

The Odd Fellows Windmill was a residential home for the Odd Fellows fraternal society in the Hollis neighborhood of Queens, New York (now part of New York City).

Terrace Heights Hospital was a privately owned 166-bed hospital in Hollis, Queens that opened in 1947 and closed in 1984.The hospital was a "general medical facility"

Holliswood Hospital was a Hollis, Queens 100-bed psychiatric-specialty teaching hospital affiliated with the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. The hospital opened in 1986 and closed in 2013. Their patients included teenagers.The hospital was opened as a for-profit venture. Their funding covered both those who have mental illnesses and also those with substance abuse problems, but "they treat those clients in separate programs." For out-patients who are on medications, when a problem occurs there is a need "to find out whether it is because he has stopped taking his medication, is taking other drugs or both." Holliswood hosted "a 13 part series on public television" covering topics such as depression, including interviewing Mike Wallace.

Willow Tree was a Main Line Long Island Rail Road station that was opened on the north side of the tracks and the west side of 183rd Street, then known as Hamilton Street. It was located in what is today the Hollis section of Queens, New York City.

Jamaica Estates is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens. Jamaica Estates is part of Queens Community District 8 and located in the northern portion of Jamaica. It is bounded by Union Turnpike to the north, Hillside Avenue to the south, Utopia Parkway and Homelawn Street to the west, and 188th Street to the east. The main road through the neighborhood is Midland Parkway. The surrounding neighborhoods are Jamaica Hills to the west; Jamaica to the southwest; Hollis to the southeast; Holliswood and Queens Village to the east; and Fresh Meadows, Utopia, and Hillcrest to the north.

The Hillside Facility, also called the Hillside Support Facility or the Hillside Maintenance Complex, is a maintenance facility of the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) in Jamaica, Queens, New York City. The Hillside facility was built between 1984 and 1991 on the grounds of a section of Holban Yard, a railroad freight yard. The facility covers 30 acres (120,000 m2) east of the former Hillside station and can maintain 60 cars at a time.

In contrast to most private schools, which are independently operated, Summit is tuition-free and accepts students from all five boroughs of New York City, as well as from Westchester, Nassau, and Suffolk counties.Summit is also considered to be a well-regarded school for students with learning disabilities, and it has a highly competitive student and faculty enrollment process.

Rockaway Junction was a junction and station on the Long Island Rail Road's Main Line and Montauk Branch in Hillside, Queens, New York City, United States. It was located in the vicinity where the Montauk Branch now crosses over the two eastbound passenger tracks and the two freight tracks of the Main Line, just west of the Hillside Facility, although at the time of the station's existence it was at ground level along with the junction itself.
