Woodward Park (Fresno)

Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy is a correspondence law school in Fresno, California. It is not accredited but is registered with the State Bar of California and authorized to grant the degree of Juris Doctor. Graduates are therefore able to take the bar exam in California but may not be able to do so in other states. It was started in 1994 to "train individuals who desire to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ through service as advocates of truth, counselors of reconciliation, and ministers of justice in the fields of law and government policy."

Valley Children's Hospital (VCH), formerly Children's Hospital Central California is a stand-alone, pediatric acute care children's teaching hospital located in Madera County, California. The hospital has 358 pediatric beds and is affiliated the Stanford University School of Medicine. The hospital is a member of Valley Children's Healthcare and is one of only two children's hospitals in the network, servicing approximately 1.3 million children and adolescents in their coverage area. The hospital provides comprehensive pediatric specialties and subspecialties to infants, children, teens, and young adults aged 0–21 throughout Madera County, Fresno, and California. Valley Children's also sometimes treats adults that require pediatric care.Valley Children's also features the largest ACS verified Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center in the region, the only Level IV NICU in the Central Valley, and the only provider of pediatric extracorporeal life support (ECLS) for their service area. Valley Children's is one of the largest providers of pediatric health services in California and in the country. The hospital is adjacent to the Ronald McDonald House of the Central Valley.

Clovis West High School (CWHS) is a co-educational, public high school part of the Clovis Unified School District in the well-established suburban community in northeast Fresno, California. It was founded in 1976, and has grades 9–12. Clovis West High School is ranked 206th within California. The AP participation rate at Clovis West High School is 41 percent. 833 tests administered and 71% tested received a score of “3” or higher. The student body makeup is 51 percent male and 49 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 51 percent, primarily Hispanic. Fresno Missionary Baptist Institute and Seminary (FMBI) was established by the First Missionary Baptist Church of Fresno on September 10, 1978, under the leadership of Dr. Burel G Burnes. FMBI offers training courses for ministers and Christian workers. Currently, the school offers many courses in Christian education and theology including Biblical language courses. FMBI's current president is also Pastor of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Fresno, Dr. David M. Butimore Sr.
