Västra hamnen (Swedish: [ˈvɛ̌sːtra ˈhǎmnɛn], "western harbor") is a neighbourhood of Malmö, situated in the borough of Centrum, Malmö Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden. Västra hamnen was an industrial area until the 21st century, when also the last factory closed down. In 1966, Kockums constructed the world's largest dock in Västra hamnen. It is today the most exclusive and expensive neighborhood in Malmö. Västra Hamnen is also known as "the City of Tomorrow", and is the first district in Europe that claims to be carbon neutral. The district uses aquifer thermal energy storage system to heat buildings in the winter and cool them in the summer. The city of Malmö received a Special Mention award at the Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize 2012 in recognition of its good work at Västra hamnen.

Dania Park, also known as Daniaparken, is located on the Bo01 district in Malmö, Sweden and was designed by architects Thorbjörn Andersson and PeGe Hillinge of SWECO FFS Architects in 1999. Aside from being the first park in over 50 years to be built in the city, it is also a former Saab factory, because of which the site's contamination made it unsuitable for large plant planting, thus the area is mostly grass covered, but is mostly characterized by terraces, platforms and balconies which overlook the Öresund Sound.

Scaniaparken is a park in Malmö, Sweden. It was built in the early 1990s on the waterfront. Scaniaparken was built as a narrow strip along the beach around the earlier Kockum area. The name probably comes from the large Kockum construction building that became a SAAB factory during the park construction. A part of the park was claimed for the housefair Bo01. Nowadays, only the northern part is left. The park mainly consists of grass hills. In 2005 Malmö City built a bathing site in Scaniaparken.

Malmö Harbour Heliport (IATA: JMM, ICAO: ESHM), was an heliport serving Malmö, Sweden. Before the Öresund Bridge was opened in 2000 and before Sweden entered the Schengen Area in 2001, Malmö Harbour Heliport and port had passport and customs check, and there were helicopter and speedboat connections directly to Copenhagen Airport transfer area. Nowadays (2010s) it is not an official heliport anymore.

Öresundsparken is a park in Malmö, Sweden. The park was built in the 1920s to fill the area beside the railway line. It was opened in 1924 and consists mainly of three ponds.

The Kockums Crane (Swedish: Kockumskranen) is a 140-metre (459 ft) high gantry crane in the Hyundai Heavy Industries shipyard in Ulsan, South Korea. It was originally used at the Kockums shipyard in Malmö, Sweden.

Ribersborg open-air bathhouse (Ribersborgs kallbadhus in Swedish, also known as Ribban by the older and Kallis by the younger generation) is an open-air public bath on the Ribersborg beach in Malmö, Sweden approximately one kilometre southwest of Turning Torso. The bathhouse is open for a skinny dip year round and has separate areas for men and women. Each area is equipped with two saunas and a warm water tub. There is also one mixed sauna between the ladies and gentlemen's area. It also contains a café and a restaurant. The bathhouse was inaugurated in June 1898 as an initiative by C.A. Richter, who bought the old bathhouse at Nyhamn port, which was being sold because of the port's expansion. Four years later a storm damaged the new bath during Christmas and it was rebuilt. During the refurbishment a diving tower was added to the men's section, with a view of the strait and the women's section. During the 1930s it was modernised with nude bathing and partitions were added between the sections. In 1966, the City of Malmö purchased the baths. It was again damaged by a storm in 1988 and in 1995 it was declared a historic building.

Malmö Castle (Swedish: Malmöhus, Danish: Malmøhus) is a fortress located in Malmö, Scania, Sweden. It is owned by the Swedish state and is managed by the State Property Agency. Malmöhus is part of Malmö Museums.

Malmöhus is a neighbourhood of Malmö, situated in the Borough of Centrum, Malmö Municipality, Scania County (formerly Malmöhus County), Sweden.

Malmö Museum is a municipal and regional museum in Malmö, Sweden. The museum shows exhibitions on technology, shipping, natural history and history. Malmö museum also has an aquarium. The exhibitions are primarily shown on Castle Island (Slottsholmen) and in the Technology & Maritime Museum (Teknikens och sjöfartens hus). On Castle Island, Malmö Castle is part of the museum and Malmö Art Museum is also located there. Malmö Museum is also a Science Center. Science Center Malmö includes the exhibitions Planet of Ideas, Vehicles of the Future, Muscles and Engines, Heaven and Earth, City of Time, Smart and Our Nature. Malmö Museum is also responsible for archaeological and marine archaeological finds in Malmö on behalf of the county administrative board, and has a municipal mandate for cultural heritage protection. In 2002, the museum was awarded Museum of the Year by the Swedish Museums Association. Biljana Topalova-Casadiego has been the director of Malmö Museum since 2021. On 22 April 2023, the Wisdome 360° Dome Cinema, donated by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation and others, was inaugurated in the partially rebuilt Technology & Maritime Museum. The theater and its surrounding spaces are part of a chain of similar facilities around Sweden, showing specially made films on the themes of space and scientific research and collaborating with various universities. Malmö Museum had 633,152 visitors in 2023, the fourth highest in the country, and is now Sweden's largest museum outside Stockholm.
