Mulhuddart

Cumann Naomh Peregrine is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Clonsilla, Fingal, Ireland. It was founded in 1978 when a group of local people got together with Fr. Joe Madden of the Servite Order and decided to form a GAA club of their own. The club caters for a range of age groups from four years upwards in the parishes of Hartstown, Huntstown, Porterstown, Blakestown and Mountview. St Peregrines has a 500-seater spectator stand, a gym, astro turf and sports hall. Local rivals include St Brigid's and Castleknock. The adult football team competes in AFL3 and also competes in the Dublin Senior Football Championship, having won the IFC in 2006. The senior hurlers compete in AHL3 and the Intermediate Hurling Championship. The club is humorously referred to as " The Penguins" because of its strip.

The Blanchardstown Centre is one of Ireland's largest shopping centres, located in Blanchardstown, Dublin, Ireland. It opened in October 1996 and was extended in 2004 to create extra retail space. It lies in the administration of Fingal County Council. The Blanchardstown Centre is served by over 600 bus movements per day, and is close to Dublin's M50 radial motorway, and adjacent to the M3 motorway. In June 2016 the centre was sold to the Blackstone Group by Green Property for an estimated €950m.

Coolmine Community School (Irish: Scoil Pobail Chúil Mhín) is a co-educational secondary school in the Coolmine suburb of Dublin. It lies within Greater Blanchardstown in the administration of Fingal.

Hartstown Community School is an Irish Secondary School located in Hartstown, Clonsilla. It serves the area of Hartstown, Huntstown and other localities in the Clonsilla suburb. Hartstown / Huntstown Community School is a co-educational, multi-denominational Community School founded in 1992 to cater for the educational needs of Hartstown & Huntstown 2nd level pupils. There is also an Adult Education Programme which caters for the wider community of Hartstown and the surrounding areas.

Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown (ITB) (Irish: Institiúid Teicneolaíochta Baile Bhlainséir) established in 1999, was a third-level institution, now amalgamated into Technological University Dublin. It was the last-founded Institute of Technology in Ireland. The campus is located within the Business and Technology Park on Blanchardstown Road North, about 15 km from Dublin City and close to the N3 (Navan Road). This is situated in the townland of Buzzardstown, in the civil parish of Mulhuddart. ITB provided full-time and part-time higher education courses in a range of subjects, making awards at levels from higher certificate, to PhD.

Tyrrelstown (Irish: Baile an Tirialaigh) is a townland in the civil parish of Mulhuddart, located 13 km northwest of the city of Dublin in Ireland and often considered as part of the greater Blanchardstown area. It is the site of a planned suburban development from the early 2000s. The local authority for the area, which forms part of the Dublin 15 postal district, is Fingal County Council.

Huntstown and Littlepace (Irish: Baile an Huntaigh agus An Bealach Beag) is a set of modern housing developments that forms a remote suburb of Dublin city in the county of Fingal in Ireland. It was built in the townlands of Littlepace (westerly) and Huntstown (easterly) which are the southernmost townlands of the civil parish of Mulhuddart. The district is also a parish in the Blanchardstown deanery of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Dublin. The nearest villages in the county are Ongar, Mulhuddart and Clonsilla along with Clonee in County Meath.

Blanchardstown (Irish: Baile Bhlainséir) is a large outer suburb of Dublin in the modern county of Fingal, Ireland. Located ten kilometres (6 mi) northwest of Dublin city centre, it has developed since the 1960s from a small village to a point where Greater Blanchardstown is the largest urban area in Fingal.It is within the historical barony of Castleknock in the traditional County Dublin, as well as the Dublin 15 postal area and the Dublin West electoral constituency. One of Ireland's largest shopping and leisure complexes — the Blanchardstown Centre and adjacent facilities — is located in the area.

The Royal Canal disaster of 1845 occurred on the evening of 25 November 1845 along the Royal Canal near Clonsilla, County Dublin, Ireland when the night boat Longford, on its way from Dublin to the eponymous town of Longford, was accidentally steered into the bank of the canal, forcing it to tip over enough that it began to take on water, and sank. Overloading of the boat, and the rocky nature of the canal bank in which the incident occurred may have contributed to the sinking due to the weight of passengers shifting unexpectedly as the bow hit a solid obstacle. Of the 54 people onboard at the time of the accident, 15 died.

St. Mochta's F.C. is an Irish association football club based in Clonsilla, Dublin. Their senior team play in the Leinster Senior League Senior Division. They also regularly compete in the FAI Cup, the FAI Intermediate Cup, the FAI Junior Cup and the Leinster Senior Cup.
