Langgade station

Akacieparken is a public housing estate on Valby Langgade in the Valby district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was built in 1994–06 to design by Hvidt & M'lgaard on a former industrial site and contains 304 apartments.

Valby Langgade is one of the main streets of the Valby district of Copenhagen, Denmark. The c. 3.2 km long street runs from the southern end of Pile Allé and the Carlsberg neighbourhood in the east to Roskildevej at Damhus Lake in the west. The square and side street Valby Tingsted was the centre of the original village of Valby.

Lyset (English: "The Light") is an area of building society houses located on the north side of Vigerslev Allé in the Valby district of Copenhagen, Denmark. The development consists of 106 houses situated along Carl Langes vej, Steenbergsvej, Fengersvej, Eschrichtsvej and Steinsvej, just west of Valby station and south of the railway line towards Roskilde.

Domus Vista is located in Copenhagen at Roskildevej in Frederiksberg and is, at 102 metres, the tallest residential structure in Denmark and the second tallest residential building in Scandinavia. The tallest is Turning Torso in Malmö, which was completed in 2005.

Valby ([vælpyˀ] (listen)) is one of the 10 official districts of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is in the southwestern corner of Copenhagen Municipality, and has a mixture of different types of housing. This includes apartment blocks, terraced housing, areas with single-family houses and allotments, plus the remaining part of the old Valby village, around which the district has formed, intermingled with past and present industrial sites. Valby Hill marks the boundary between Valby and the more central and urban neighbouring Vesterbro district. The expression "west of Valby Hill" is in Danish often used as a metonym for "the provinces" or "outside Copenhagen". Separated from the rest of Copenhagen by Vestre Cemetery, Denmark's largest cemetery, towards Vesterbro/Kongens Enghave and Søndermarken-Frederiksberg Gardens towards Frederiksberg, the Carlsberg brewery site, and areas of low density, Valby retains a certain air of 'independence', or isolation, even today. With the progressing redevelopment of the Carlsberg area into a new lively, high-density neighbourhood, this is likely to change. Other former industrial sites are also under redevelopment and Valby is today one of the districts in Copenhagen with the fastest growing population.

Spinderiet (lit. "The Spinning Mill") is a shopping centre located next to Valby station in the Valby district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Inaugurated in 2008, it incorporates the converted buildings of a cotton mill from 1907. The mixed use development also contains office space and apartments.

The White Houses in Valby (Danish: Den Hvide By i Valby), also known as Trekanten (lit. "The Triangle"), is one of several developments of building society houses in the Valby district of Copenhagen, Denmark. The houses were built 1899–1903 and are located on the south side of Valby Langgade and the streets Søndre Allé, Nordre Allé and Østre Allé.

Vigerslev Allé station is an S-train station in Copenhagen, Denmark. The station is located on Vigerslev Allé, the main traffic artery of its namesake neighbourghood of Vigerslev, which forms the westernmost part of the Copenhagen district of Valby.It opened in 2005 and is served by the ring line.

The Internment in Valby is constructed in a former beer depot in relationship with the state of emergency laws introduced in relationship with the United Nations Climate Change Conference 2009 (COP15) December 2009 It is the primary detention used for climate activists, who will be arrested by the police. The police can detain people for 12 hours, which is called preemptive arrest The procedure: 1) The detainees will be placed on benches in handcuffs until they will be called to be booked and searched. 2) Then they will be led to the cages (pejoratively called "dog cages" in the Danish media) which can each accommodate 8-10 persons. 3) If police investigation leads to charges the detainee will be transferred to Vestre Fængsel. Otherwise the detainee will be released after the 12-hour period since the arrest has passed.There will be access to toilet and water. Food can be earned after 6 hours. Due to limited heating possibilities the detainees can be granted a blanket.A common nickname in the press is the "Climate Prison"

Valby station is an S-train and railway station in the Valby district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is one of the most used stations, and hence regional trains also stop here. It is located in a highly populated area, where the Tåstrup and Frederikssund radials of the S-train network diverge, and is served by trains on or from either radial. All regional and some intercity trains also stop at Valby. Several express buses to Jutland terminate and depart from this station. There are two island platforms plus one track extra, for the S-trains towards Ballerup and (further out) Frederikssund. S-trains in direction to Copenhagen City Centre, Høje Taastrup and Ballerup/Frederikssond uses one track each. And regional trains (and a few other trains) uses the other platform, with its two tracks. All tracks are electrified, however some regional trains and Inter City trains, do still in 2017 use diesel.

Frederiksberg Alliancen 2000, commonly referred to as FA 2000, is a professional association football club based in the area of Frederiksberg, Capital Region, Denmark, that competes in the Danish 2nd Division, the third tier of the Danish football league system. Founded in 2000, it is affiliated to the regional association DBU Copenhagen. The team plays its home matches at Frederiksberg Idrætspark, where it has been based since its foundation. The club was founded on 7 September 2000 as a merger between B 1972, Boldklubben Dalgas and Frederiksberg Kammeraternes IF. While B 1972 and Frederiksberg Kammeraterne were non-league clubs, Dalgas had previously competed one season in the third tier.

Peter Bangs Vej station is a station on the Frederikssund radial of the S-train network in Copenhagen, Denmark. The station, located where the railway tracks cross Peter Bangs Vej, was designed by the Danish State Railways architect K.T. Seest and opened on 23 September 1941. The station was made famous in 2001, shortly after the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York, for being the location from where an emergency 112 call was made and in which Danish Police failed to respond.
