Opened in 1971 as an enclosed shopping mall, the center was re-developed in 1996 as a power centre, retaining the name Brighton Mall. Anchor stores for the property are Marshalls, Michaels, Aldi, PetSmart, Jo-Ann Etc., Best Buy, and Gardner-White Furniture.

The Western House, also known as the Brighton Hotel, is a former hotel and boarding house at 500 West Main Street in Brighton, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The building now houses the Brewery Becker.

Brighton is a city in Livingston County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 7,446. Brighton forms part of the South Lyon-Howell-Brighton Urban Area. It is one of two incorporated cities in Livingston County, and incorporates land that was part of Brighton, Green Oak and Genoa townships.

Decision Pending is a bronze sculpture located in the city of Brighton, Michigan. The statue is located near the Brighton Mill Pond Park on the North side of Main Street; it stands at five feet tall and is 20 inches wide. The statue is a dis-proportioned naked man standing upright. The statue was created by artist Jay Holland and was donated to the city by a citizen’s group as part of the 2006 Brighton Biennial, a project designed to fill the downtown area with pieces of outdoor art. Due to its controversial subject matter and its proximity to the Brighton World War 2 memorial the sculpture has been the topic of much public debate and has been the topic of many articles in the Livingston County Daily Press & Argus.

Genoa Charter Township is a charter township of Livingston County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the township population was 20,692.Genoa Township was organized in 1837.

The Aeronca Museum is an online museum that hosts a collection of artifacts and aircraft produced by Aeronca (the Aeronautical Corporation of America) (a.k.a. Aeronca, Inc. or Aeronca Aircraft, now Magellan Aerospace Corp.), a prominent U.S. light aircraft manufacturer from 1928 to 1951. The museum is instituted to "preserve the knowledge and history of Aeronca aircraft in the public trust" and keep it "available for future generations," with the objective "to be the premier research library for all things Aeronca."

Brighton State Recreation Area is an 4,947-acre (20.02 km2) recreation area, located near Mount Brighton ski area in Livingston County, Michigan. It has 39 miles of trails for mountain biking, hiking, skiing and horse riding. There are 3 campgrounds providing over 200 campsites. It is also close to many other state parks, such as Pinckney State Recreation Area.

The Jacob Fishbeck Farmstead is a farm located at 5151 Crooked Lake Road in Genoa Township, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
