McKinley National Memorial

The William McKinley Presidential Library and Museum is the presidential library of 25th U.S. president William McKinley. The library, which is located at the foot of the McKinley National Memorial, is owned and operated by the Stark County Historical Society, and located in Canton, Ohio, where McKinley built his career as lawyer, prosecuting attorney, congressman, governor and president. The museum contains the largest collection of McKinley artifacts in the world and chronicles the life and career of the 25th president, from his birth to his death at the hands of an assassin. Another exhibit also explores the construction of the Memorial and the unfortunate fate of the McKinley’s Canton home, destroyed by fire in 1937. As for the Museum itself it boasts a science center with some wildlife and fossils. The museum has a temporary exhibit space called the Keller gallery. The museum also has an planetarium show. Because of the science center, the museum has a membership plan that lets the member access other museums meeting the same criteria throughout the United States. The museum also houses other artifacts on the surrounding city. The museum largely relies on volunteer staff for its operations. The current curator is Kimberly Kenney.

West Lawn Cemetery is in Canton, Ohio, adjacent to the McKinley National Memorial. It was the original resting place of William McKinley until his memorial was built, and has graves of other notable Cantonians.

The Buckeye Council is a local council of the Boy Scouts of America that serves Ohio and parts of northern West Virginia. Headquartered in Canton, Ohio, Buckeye Council serves more than 10,000 scouts and has more than 4,000 campers participate in its successful summer camp programs.

Heritage Christian School is a private, nondenominational Christian school located in Canton, Ohio. The school occupies what was formerly Lincoln High School and serves children from preschool to 8th grade. Previously, the middle and high school, sixth to 12th grade at Heritage Christian had their sports teams nicknamed the "Conquerors." Lincoln High School was a public high school in the Canton City School District from 1926 until 1976. The Lincoln Lions were members of the Hall of Fame Conference for football.Due to low enrollment, Lincoln and Lehman High School were closed as traditional high schools at the end of the 1975-76 school year and became junior highs. The Lincoln building would eventually house Heritage Christian School in 1979.

Lehman High School was a public high school in the Canton City School District. It was named for John House Lehman, "in honor of his extensive, untiring, and unselfish efforts for the public school system." It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 24, 2017.

McKinley Senior High School is a public high school in Canton, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Canton City School District and has two campuses: Downtown Campus (mostly known as Early College High School or Timken High School) and the main campus, which is known as McKinley Senior High School. Athletic teams compete as the Canton McKinley Bulldogs in the Ohio High School Athletic Association as a member of the Federal League.

Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, formerly Fawcett Stadium, is a football stadium and entertainment complex in Canton, Ohio. It is a major component of Hall of Fame Village, located adjacent to the grounds of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The venue hosts the annual Pro Football Hall of Fame Game and serves as the home field for the football teams from Canton McKinley High School. It also served as the home field for Malone University from 1993 to 2018 and Walsh University from 1998 to 2022. It also served as the home stadium for a number of other Canton-area high schools. The stadium was constructed as a replacement for League Field, the city's previous stadium, where Canton's professional football team, the Bulldogs, played many of their games. First dedicated as Fawcett Stadium in 1938, the stadium's original name honored the memory of John A. Fawcett, a former Canton board of education member, who died several years before the stadium was completed. On November 24, 2014, it was announced that Tom Benson, owner of the New Orleans Saints, would be donating $11 million to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, $10 million of which was to go into renovating Fawcett Stadium and recouping the money by renting use of the stadium. In response to Benson's donation, the Hall of Fame announced that Fawcett Stadium would be renamed Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, which was dedicated on August 3, 2017. Benson died less than a year later, on March 15, 2018. The renovation of Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium was part of the approximately $200 million construction completed in Phase I of the Hall of Fame Village expansion project.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame Game is an annual National Football League (NFL) exhibition game in Canton, Ohio, held the weekend of the Pro Football Hall of Fame's induction ceremonies. The game is played at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, part of Hall of Fame Village powered by Johnson Controls and located adjacent to the Hall of Fame building. The first game was played in 1962, when ground was broken for the hall of fame.

Aultman Hospital is a non-profit hospital located in Canton, Ohio, United States. It is the largest hospital and the largest employer, with over 5000 employees, in Stark County. In January 1890, Mrs. Elizabeth Harter, daughter of Cornelius Aultman, purchased 4.5 acres (1.8 ha) of land in the southwest end of Canton. The hospital opened on January 17, 1892. In 1925, the Harter Building was constructed, adding 100 beds to the 40-room hospital. The McKinley Building opened in 1944, expanding the facility by another 106 beds. Three years later, another 117 beds were added by the opening of the Harter Annex. In 1954, the Main Building and the Morrow House were completed. The Main Building replaced the hospital's original structure and included 139 additional beds. Currently, the hospital boasts 1032 beds and 530 active physicians in 43 specialties. Aultman runs a Preferred Provider Organization, AultCare.

Mahaffey Park was a baseball and football field in Canton, Ohio. It was the home of the professional football team called the Canton Bulldogs, which operated off and on during the first quarter of the 20th Century. It was also used for baseball from time to time, including as a semi-neutral site by the Cleveland Indians during 1902 and 1903. The field was located at what is now the corner of Tuscarawas Street West (to the south) and McKinley Avenue Northwest (to the east). Timken High School occupies the site today.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame is the hall of fame for professional American football, located in Canton, Ohio. Opened on September 7, 1963, the Hall of Fame enshrines exceptional figures in the sport of professional football, including players, coaches, franchise owners, and front-office personnel, almost all of whom made their primary contributions to the game in the National Football League (NFL). As of the Class of 2022, there are a total of 362 members of the Hall of Fame. Members are referred to as "Gold Jackets" due to the distinctive gold jackets they receive during the induction ceremony. Between four and eight new inductees are normally enshrined every year. For the 2020 class, an additional 15 members, known as the "Centennial Slate", were inducted into the Hall of Fame to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the NFL.The Chicago Bears have the most inductees, with 30.
