The Danish Society for Nature Conservation, in Danish Danmarks Naturfredningsforening, founded 1911, is an incorporated non-governmental organization based in Denmark. It works for environmental protection and biodiversity, improved environmental legislation, consideration for the natural environment in public planning, and public access to natural resources. The Society is a member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature. Its name has been translated into English in several different ways, including Danish Nature Preservation Foundation, Danish Society for the Conservation of Nature, and Danish Society for Nature Preservation, but 'Danish Society for Nature Conservation' is the English term which the society uses itself.

St. Augustine's Church is a Roman-Catholic church on Jagtvej in the Østerbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. A former convent, which was built in association with the church, now houses Niels Steensens Gymnasium, a Catholic upper secondary school, and a hall of residence.

Krudttønden (meaning "The powder keg") is a café and local cultural centre at Østerfælled Torv in the Østerbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Krudttønden is used for a wide array of cultural events, including theatre, concerts, debates, exhibitions and receptions.

Geranium is a Danish gourmet restaurant, situated in Parken in the center of Copenhagen. The head chef is the Danish chef Rasmus Kofoed, who won the Bocuse d'Or in 2011. It was one of the first Danish three-starred restaurants according to the Michelin Guide. In 2022, it was named best restaurant in the world by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

Two Lions (Danish: To Løver), also known as The Disgruntled (Danish: De Utilfredse), is an outdoor bronze group sculpture of two lions situated in Fælledparken in the Østerbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark.

Østerfælled Barracks (Danish: Østerfælled Kaserne), later known as Østerbrogade Kaserne, was a barracks originally built in the 1890s for the Guard Hussars of the Royal Danish Army in the emerging Østerbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. Its grounds have now been transformed into a mixed-use development surrounding a pedestrian zone and is now known as Østerfælled Torv. Many of the old buildings have been retained while others have been demolished to make way for new residential buildings. The old main entrance to the barracks is located on the corner of Østerbrogade and Gunner Nu Hansens Plads.

Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads is a public space in the Østerbro district of Copenhagen, Denmark. It consists of a triangular plaza, located on the west side of Østerbrogade, just north of Parken Stadium, which turns into a wide street and continues for about 200 m to Fælledparken, The street then continues southwest as Per Henrik Lings Allé to Øster Allé. Several sports venues, some of which are listed, are located on the south side of the square. The former Østerfælled Barracks, now a mixed-use development known as Østerfælled Torv, are located on its north side.

A new arena built next to Parken Stadium in Copenhagen was expected to be completed by December 2010. Due to the financial crisis and a bad annual result in 2009, Parken Sport & Entertainment chose to abolish the project.The arena was designed by Hou + Partnere Arkitekter. The arena was first named after the financial group Capinordic, but the company withdrew their sponsorship in January 2010. It would have had a capacity of 4,500 at sport events and 8,500 for concerts and other cultural events. The total area would be about 13,000 square metres. The arena was supposed to be home ground of the FCK Handball professional handball teams, but on 26 February 2010 the project was officially abolished.

Københavns Skipperforening (lit. "Copenhagen Skippers' Association"), formerly Københavns Skipperlav (Copenhagen Skippers' Guild), is an organisation for skippers in Copenhagen, Denmark. Its former headquarters at the corner of Bremerholm and Holmens Kanal, a brick building from 1796, was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places by the Danish Heritage Agency on 23 December 1918 and was sold to Danske Bank in 1930. The association is now based at Australiensgade in Østerbro.

Østerbro Stadium is a combined football and athletics stadium in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is the home of the football clubs Boldklubben af 1893 and BK Skjold and it is also the home stadium of the athletics clubs Københavns Idræts Forening and Sparta. It has a capacity of approximately 4,400. The stadium is currently being renovated, to meet the demands from the Danish Football Association. The field will be made both longer and wider and a new track will be laid for track and field. The stadium was used for the 2009 World Outgames.

Københavns Idrætspark, in daily use Idrætsparken, also known as Parken, was a multi-purpose stadium in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was initially used as the stadium of Denmark national football team and Kjøbenhavns Boldklub. It was replaced by the Parken Stadium in 1992. The capacity of the stadium was 48,000 spectators.The main stadium, the first fully enclosed ground in Denmark, opened on the 25 May 1911, with a capacity of 12000, with a football match between a Copenhagen XI and The Wednesday of England.By the end of the 1920s, the Idrætsparken boasted the main stadium, a separate athletics track (1912), indoor sports hall (1914), hockey pitch, and an indoor swimming pool (1929).The main stand, which was retained in the new Parken Stadium, was inaugurated on 2 October 1955, England defeating Denmark 5-1.From 1911 to 1990, the Danish national team played 232 games at Idrætsparken, winning 125 games and losing 66.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2001 was the 46th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, following the country's victory at the 2000 contest with the song "Fly on the Wings of Love" by Olsen Brothers. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Danmarks Radio (DR), the contest was held at the Parken Stadium on 12 May 2001. The contest was presented by Danish television presenter Natasja Crone Back and actor Søren Pilmark.Twenty-three countries took part in the contest. Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, and Slovenia returned after their relegation from the previous edition. Greece also returned after their two-year absence, following financial trouble. Meanwhile, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Finland, Macedonia, Romania, and Switzerland were relegated. The winner was Estonia with the song "Everybody", performed by Tanel Padar, Dave Benton and 2XL, and written by Ivar Must and Maian-Anna Karmas. This was the first time the contest was won by one the countries from the former Eastern bloc that debuted in the contest in the 1990s. Denmark, Greece, France and Sweden rounded out the top five with Greece achieving its best result up to that point in the contest. Further down the table, Slovenia equalled their best result from 1995, finishing seventh. Meanwhile, Ireland finished in 21st place, giving the nation its worst placement up to that point.
