Congregation Shaar Hashomayim (Windsor)

The Masonic Temple is a three-storey ballroom building located at 986 Ouellette Avenue in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. It was designed by James Carlisle Pennington in a Neo-Classical Revival style and was given heritage designation by the City of Windsor in 1994.The building serves as a home to various masonic organizations as well as a ballroom. As well, it hosts the Windsor Scottish Rite Learning Center which provides tutoring to individuals with dyslexia.

Congregation Shaarey Zedek is the oldest Orthodox Jewish congregation in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1893, the congregants initially met in private homes. In 1906, a dedicated synagogue was built at the corner of Brant and Mercer streets. It served the community for over 50 years. The congregation moved to its current location at 610 Giles Boulevard East in 1958. As of 2011, Congregation Shaarey Zedek has a membership of approximately 40 families. The rabbi is Sholom Galperin.

CKWW (580 AM) is a Canadian radio station in Windsor, Ontario. It is owned by Bell Media and airs an oldies format targeted to the Windsor/Detroit market. Most of the playlist is made up of hits from the 1950s, 60s and 70s. The studios and offices are on Ouellette Avenue in Windsor. CKWW's transmitter is on Concession Road 4N in Amherstburg, Ontario. The station is powered at 500 watts, using a directional antenna to protect other Canadian and U.S. stations broadcasting on 580 AM. CKWW streams its programming live on its website and on the iHeartRadio platform.

CINA-FM (102.3 MHz) is a radio station broadcasting a mixture of English-language and ethnic/multilingual music and programming in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The station broadcasts with an antenna aimed toward the northwest and southeast, to protect nearby stations on the same frequency: CHST-FM in London; WGRT in Port Huron, Michigan; WPOS-FM in Toledo, Ohio and WFXN-FM in Galion, Ohio. In consequence, the coverage area reaches out to ethnic communities in both Windsor and Detroit, Michigan.

W. D. Lowe High School (also known as Lowe High School, Lowe Technical School, and Lowe Vocational School) was a public secondary school in downtown Windsor, Ontario from 1921 until 2000.

Windsor Arena (nicknamed The Barn) is an indoor arena located in Windsor, Ontario. Its capacity is approximately 4,400 with standing room. The arena's ice is an asymmetrical 80 feet (24 m) by 195 feet (59 m) or 15,600 square feet (1,450 m2). The arena was the home of the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League from 1975 to 2008, at which time the team's home was moved to the WFCU Centre.

Honourable W.C. Kennedy Collegiate is a secondary school (grades 9 through 12) located in central Windsor, Ontario, Canada. It is part of the Greater Essex County District School Board (GECDSB). Mr. Berard is the current principal and Mr. Stefan Adjetey is the current vice-principal

Jackson Park is a park south of Downtown Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Acquired in 1929, with the persistence of then mayor Cecil E. Jackson, Windsor City Council voted in favour of purchasing the land from the Jockey Club. At the same meeting where the land was purchased, City Council decided to name the new park after their Mayor. Jackson Park has long been considered one of Windsor's most beautiful parks and attractions. It is most known for its yearly display annual garden beds and a large array of perennial plants. In the winter months, Jackson hosts Bright Lights Windsor, a Christmas light display put on by the City.

Windsor City Hall is the seat of the municipal government of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The mayor's office and Windsor City Council are housed in the main building at 350 City Hall Square West, while additional city services are located in an adjacent building at 400 City Square East in downtown Windsor.

Catholic Central High School is a high school in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. It is operated by the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board. Amy Lofaso is the school's principal. Catholic Central High School has a diverse, multicultural student body.

The Canada Building is an Art Deco office tower built in 1930 in downtown Windsor, Ontario. It stands at 14 storeys and stands on Ouellette Avenue between University Avenue and Park Street. It should not be confused with the nearby similarly designed Paul Martin Sr. Building, or the Bell Canada building, located on Goyeau Avenue, which looks nearly identical and is nearly the same in height. The Canada Building was listed as a historic property under the Ontario Heritage Act on August 5, 2008.As of July 2020, about a quarter of the building was used for commercial space. A redevelopment plan was announced in July 2020 for the building to have commercial space on the lowest three floors with 72 apartments in floors above.

Victoria Park Place is Windsor, Ontario's second tallest building (after Caesars Windsor's "Augustus" Hotel tower), standing at 34 storeys (3 below-ground floors, and 31 above-ground floors). Its construction started in 1979 and was a jointly built venture by Danzig Enterprises Limited & Wonsch Construction. The building uses reinforced concrete construction and concrete plank. The apartment tower is easily identifiable from its "L" shape. It stands at the corner of Park Street and Victoria Avenue in downtown Windsor, on a site formerly occupied by the old Norton Palmer Hotel. The high-rise apartment building takes up a full city block, and is across Pelissier Street from the Royal Windsor Terrace Condominiums. The high-rise uses the modern architecture style, incorporating a great deal of glass and steel. Along its southwest corner (the edge of its "L" shape), elevators travel along the shafts, with a clear view of the streets below. At one time, it housed a news bureau for CKCO-TV on its ground floor, which has since been turned into a convenience store. The building also holds the television transmitter for CHWI-TV-60 on the roof, repeating the signal to the Windsor area.
