M Street Park

Antelope Grocery is a historic mixed-use building in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built in 1922 for Roy B. Palin and his wife Julia, with a grocery store on the first floor and residential apartments on the second floor. It was designed in the Tudor Revival style by the architectural firm Fiske & Meginnis. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since March 17, 1988.

Lincoln High School is a public secondary school located in Lincoln, Nebraska, United States. A part of the Lincoln Public Schools school district, it is the largest high school in the city. More than 40,000 students have graduated from Lincoln High in its 148-year history. The school colors are red and black, and the mascot is the Links. Its mascot is memorialized in a statue in the school's front lawn, with four individual links chained together. These represent the hopeful characteristics of Lincoln High School: tradition, diversity, excellence, and unity.

The William L. and Sydney V. Murphy House is a historic two-and-a-half-story house in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built in 1889 for William L. Murphy and his wife Sydney, and it was designed in the Queen Anne style. It later belonged to art collector and patron Frances Sheldon, the namesake of the Sheldon Museum of Art. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since November 4, 1994.

Arts and Humanities Focus Program, commonly referred to as Arts, is a focus program that specializes in art and the humanities. The school opened in 1999, and is housed in a historic bottling plant along the banks of Antelope Creek in Lincoln, Nebraska, United States.

The Guy A. Brown House is a historic two-story house in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built in 1874 as a private residence for Guy A. Brown, a Civil War veteran who became Nebraska's State Librarian as well as the clerk and reporter of the Nebraska Supreme Court. The house was designed in the Italianate style, with an American Craftsman porch. It was remodelled as a duplex in 1935. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since March 5, 1998.

The Rock Island Depot in Lincoln, Nebraska is a historic railroad station which served passenger trains of the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad (Rock Island Line) from 1893 to 1968. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 3, 1971. The buildings is now occupied by a branch of Union Bank and Trust. Most of the former Rock Island Line trackage in Lincoln has been converted to rail trails.

The Tifereth Israel Synagogue is a historic building in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built by Alfred W. Woods in 1913 as an Orthodox synagogue, and designed in the Classical Revival style by architect Fred Young, Jr.. In the 1950s, it was repurposed as a community playhouse. It was later used as an organ factory, and eventually remodeled into a residential apartment building. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since May 9, 1985. Congregation Tifereth Israel moved in 1954 to a new building at 3219 Sheridan Boulevard and is currently active as a conservative synagogue.

The Royer-Williams House is a historic house in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built by Henry Royer in 1887, and designed in the Queen Anne architectural style, with "the hood-moldings of the windows, the prominent square bay window of the south facade complete with Victorian trim and brackets, and the varied imbrication on the second floor of the tower and on the concave hip of the south bay window.". In 1898, it was purchased by T. F. A. Williams, who lived here with his wife, sociologist Hattie Plum Williams who wrote books about German Russians. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since June 14, 1982.

The Hurlbut–Yates House is a historic house in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built in 1891 for Aeneas Hurlbut, who had served in the American Civil War of 1861–1865 before moving to Nebraska. It was designed in the Queen Anne and Stick/Eastlake styles by architect Ferdinand C. Fiske. In 1893, it was purchased by Charles Yates, who lived here with his wife Ruth, their two sons and two daughters. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 17, 1999 as Aeneas Hurlbut–Charles Yates House.It is termed the "Hurlbut–Yates House" by the City of Lincoln, which designated the house to be a Local Landmark. In its 1987 Local Landmark application, the property was deemed "one of the finest Queen Anne style houses in Nebraska, with a high degree of integrity, reinforced by an exemplary rehabilitation and restoration." It also noted that "Charles Yates was a leading businessman in Lincoln and his sons and grandsons continued to make significant and positive impact on the community."

The Harris House is a historic two-and-a-half-story house in Lincoln, Nebraska. It was built in 1902 for Sarah Harris. Her husband George Samuel Harris worked for the railroad company and encouraged many immigrants from Eastern Europe to settle in Lincoln before his death in 1874. His widow published her memoirs as a pioneer in Nebraska. Many of their sons went on to success in business at a national scale. The house was designed in the Classical Revival style. It was purchased by the University of Nebraska–Lincoln chapter of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity in 1919. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since September 2, 1982.

The Masonic Temple in Lincoln, Nebraska is a building from 1934. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.It was designed by Lincoln architects Meginnis and Schaumberg in a restrained Art Deco style.It is a three=story building and 78 by 112 feet (24 m × 34 m) in plan.

Lincoln is the capital city of the U.S. state of Nebraska and the county seat of Lancaster County. The city covers 99.050 square miles (256.538 km2) with a population of 291,082 in 2020. The city was founded in 1856 as the village of Lancaster on the wild salt marshes and arroyos of what was to become Lancaster County. Renamed after President Abraham Lincoln, it became Nebraska's state capital in 1869. The Bertram G. Goodhue–designed state capitol building was completed in 1932, and is the second tallest capitol in the United States. As the city is the seat of government for the state of Nebraska, the state and the United States government are major employers. The University of Nebraska was founded in Lincoln in 1869. The university is the largest in Nebraska with 26,079 students enrolled, and is the city's third-largest employer. Other primary employers fall into the service and manufacturing industries, including a growing high-tech sector. The region makes up a part of what is known as the greater Midwest Silicon Prairie. Designated as a "refugee-friendly" city by the U.S. Department of State in the 1970s, the city was the twelfth-largest resettlement site per capita in the United States by 2000. Refugee Vietnamese, Karen (Burmese ethnic minority), Sudanese and Yazidi (Iraqi ethnic minority) people, as well as other refugees from Iraq, the Middle East and Afghanistan, have been resettled in the city. During the 2018–2019 school year, Lincoln Public Schools provided support for approximately 3,000 students from 150 countries, who spoke 125 different languages.
