The menu is southern Italian and Sicilian cuisine.Federici, allegedly a capo the Genovese crime family, kept racing pigeons on the roof.On March 13, 2000 Federici was shooting at hawks twice with a 20 gauge shotgun off of the roof, but he didn’t hit any. Congregation Tifereth Israel ("Splendor of Israel") is an Orthodox synagogue located in the Corona section of Queens, New York. It was founded by Ashkenazi Jews who had moved to Queens from Manhattan's Lower East Side. Estée Lauder and her parents were early members.The congregation constructed its synagogue building in 1911, a wooden Gothic and Moorish revival structure designed by Crescent L. Varrone, and modeled after the narrow tenement synagogues built on Manhattan's Lower East Side. The walls were later stuccoed. Neighborhood demographics changed, and most Jews moved away starting in the 1970s. By the 1990s, the remaining congregation was aged, and had difficulty paying for synagogue repairs and finding enough men for a prayer quorum.Bukharan Jews began moving to Corona in the 1990s, and in the mid-1990s began worshiping in Tifereth Israel's basement. Disputes between the old congregation and the Bukharan Jews and their new rabbi came to a head in 1997. Lawsuits in rabbinical and state courts led to the Bukharan congregation taking over the synagogue. The building deteriorated, and by 2008 was in need of $1.4 million in exterior repairs alone.As of 2010, the New York Landmarks Conservancy had begun $1.5 million in restoration work. Tifereth Israel's building was the oldest structure built as a synagogue in Queens, and the oldest synagogue building in Queens continuously used for worship.

Terrace on the Park is a banquet hall in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park in Queens, New York City. The building was constructed by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to serve as the heliport for the 1964 New York World's Fair. The building was designed by chief architect Allan Gordon Lorimer, engineers John Kyle and Ray Monte, and planning chief E. Donald Mills.It is located to the south of the New York Hall of Science. The bulk of the building is suspended in the air by four supports. It has a panoramic view of the Manhattan skyline. The outside walls of the main floor are mostly accessible windows that allow guests a clear view in every direction. Prior to re-opening as a banquet hall, the Beatles' helicopter landed there prior to their Shea Stadium concert in 1965, the venue was used for Park concessions upon the dedication of Flushing Meadows Corona Park in 1967. Following a five-year renovation that was completed in 2017, the venue was brought up to contemporary event standards.The building is currently owned by the privately held Crystal Ball Group, which operates the building as a catering hall for weddings, proms and other events. The firm pays the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation annually in the amount of 20% of its gross receipts or $2.5 million, whichever is greater.

The Underground World Home was an exhibit at the 1964 New York World's Fair of a partially underground house which doubled as a bomb shelter. Designed by architect Jay Swayze, who made a specialty of underground homes, it was situated on the campus of the expo besides the Hall of Science and north of the expo's heliport in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park in Queens.

The New York Hall of Science, also known as NYSCI, is a science museum located in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in the New York City borough of Queens, in the section of the park that is in Corona. It occupies one of the few remaining structures from the 1964 New York World's Fair, and is New York City's only hands-on science and technology center. The more than 400 hands-on exhibits focus on biology, chemistry, and physics.

The Flushing Meadows Carousel is a carousel located in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in the New York City borough of Queens. It contains four rows of figures, including 64 jumping horses, 7 standing horses, 1 menagerie animal (a lion), and 2 chariots. It was created to serve patrons of the 1964 New York World's Fair by combining two earlier carousels, both of which were carved in Coney Island in the first decade of the twentieth century by renowned carver Marcus Illions. During the fair, it stood on a nearby site within the park, and it was moved to its present site in 1968, where it has remained in service ever since.In 2016 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

High School for Arts and Business is a public high school in New York City, in Corona in the borough of Queens. The school once belonged to the Andrew Jackson High System and was named as an offsite section in 1973.

The Queens Zoo is an 18-acre (7.3 ha) zoo located in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park in Queens, New York City. The zoo is part of an integrated system of four zoos and one aquarium managed by the Wildlife Conservation Society in partnership with the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, and is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).

The Queens Night Market, also known as the Queens International Night Market, is a night market in Queens in New York City, United States. The event launched in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in April 2015, with 40 vendors. Since then, it operates on Saturday nights from April through October, except for a break when the US Open tennis tournament is held within the park. As of 2023, the event averages around 20,000 visitors on Saturday nights. The market was named the #9 best restaurant in New York City by The New York Times in 2023. The market hosts independent vendors each night, selling food, art, and merchandise; as of 2019, it has featured food from over 80 countries. When it launched in 2015, it introduced a $5 price cap on all food available for sale at the event. The price cap has since been raised to $6. A cookbook with vendor stories and recipes, The World Eats Here: Amazing Food and the Inspiring People Who Make It at New York's Queens Night Market by John Wang and Storm Garner, was published in 2020. The event has ATMs, sells beer and wine, and hosts live entertainment each Saturday night. To date, the event has hosted approximately 200 free live performances. The event was paused during the COVID-19 pandemic in New York City in 2020. It reopened with ticketed entry under public health regulations in June 2021 and resumed regular operations in July 2021.

Grandstand is a tennis stadium situated in the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park, Queens, New York. The stadium which has a capacity to seat 8,125 people, is owned by the United States Tennis Association. The court is the third largest at the national tennis center, after the Arthur Ashe and Louis Armstrong Stadiums. Built to host the US Open, Grandstand was constructed as part of a redesign of the national tennis center and is the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design tennis stadium in the world. The stadium designed by Rossetti Architects and constructed by AECOM is named after a 1978 stadium of the same name.

The 111th Street station is a local station on the IRT Flushing Line of the New York City Subway, located at the intersection of 111th Street and Roosevelt Avenue. It is served by the 7 train at all times.
