Harlow Hill Tower

Harlow Hill Cemetery on Otley Road, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England, is a local authority cemetery established on land donated by Henry Lascelles, 4th Earl of Harewood in 1869, and consecrated on 3 October 1871 by the Bishop of Ripon. It features the Gothic Revival Church of All Saints, designed by Isaac Thomas Shutt and Alfred Hill Thompson. It has individual memorials to casualties of World Wars I and II, and other graves include those of actor Michael Rennie and Catherine Gurney, an activist in the Temperance movement in the United Kingdom.

The Church of All Saints, Harlow Hill, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England, is a grade II listed mission church, or chapel of ease, completed in 1871 on land donated by Henry Lascelles, 4th Earl of Harewood, within the parish of St Mary. It was consecrated by the Bishop of Ripon in 1871. The building was designed with a round bell tower, in Gothic Revival style, by Isaac Thomas Shutt and Alfred Hill Thompson. After some years of closure due to structural problems, as of 2014 it was being restored for use by a funeral director's company.

RHS Garden Harlow Carr is one of five public gardens run by the Royal Horticultural Society. It is located on the western edge of Harrogate in the English county of North Yorkshire. The RHS acquired Harlow Carr through its merger with the Northern Horticultural Society in 2001. It had been the Northern Horticultural Society's trial ground and display garden since they bought it in 1946.

The Paris Pavilion is a historic building in Harrogate, a town in North Yorkshire, in England. The building was constructed some time between 1775 and 1800, as a bath house, with accommodation above. There were various associated cottages and stables, all intended to serve visitors to the town's Cold Bath. It is believed to be named for the Treaty of Paris, and perhaps also the Brighton Pavilion. By 1839, the building had been renamed Harlow Cottage, yet the older name remained in use. It was grade II listed in 1997. The building is constructed of stone with a slate roof, coped gables and kneelers. It has three storeys and three bays. The central doorway has a fanlight, and the windows are sashes. On the south front is an external staircase and terrace. Southwest of the building is a contemporary wash house. It is built of stone with a slate roof and stone coped gables and kneelers. It has a single storey, and in the north front is a single doorway. It is separately grade II listed.

Its pupils are from Harrogate, neighbouring towns and villages, and nearby Leeds, with the latter being a large part of the enrolment. The Valley Gardens is a grade II listed park in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. The park, which covers 17 acres (6.9 ha), was laid out in 1887 to commemorate the golden jubilee of Queen Victoria.

Ashville College is a co-educational independent school for both day and boarding pupils aged 2–18 in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. It was founded in 1877 as a boarding school for boys by the United Methodist Free Churches. It incorporated Elmfield College and New College, Harrogate in the 1930s. The school maintains a Methodist ethos but is open to non-Methodists and to those of non-Christian religions. The college accepted girls in 1982 and is fully co-educational. It thrives as the oldest independent school in Harrogate and owns an estate of 60 acres (24 ha) on the south side of the spa town.

St Wilfrid's Church, Harrogate is an Anglican parish church in the town of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. It is a Grade I listed building, the only such building in Harrogate. It was designed by the architect Temple Lushington Moore and is his most famous work. It is designated as a "Major Parish Church" and is the 38th largest parish church in England.

Harrogate Ladies' College is an independent boarding and day school located in the town of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. Founded as a girls' senior school in 1893, the college now educates girls from ages 2 to 18 and boys up to age 11. It is a member of the Girls' Schools Association and Allied Schools.

Beckwith is a small settlement in North Yorkshire, England. It lies 2 miles (3 km) south west of Harrogate. The place name was first recorded in about 972 as bec wudu, Old English for "beech wood". The place was historically a hamlet in the ancient parish of Pannal in the West Riding of Yorkshire. It was the ancient seat of the Beckwith family, which owned property here until 1753. It gave its name to the now larger village of Beckwithshaw, 1 mile west. In 1974 Beckwith became part of Harrogate district in the new county of North Yorkshire. In 2010 the parish of Pannal was renamed Beckwithshaw.

The Royal Pump Room is a Grade II* listed building in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. Today it houses the town's museum – operated by Harrogate Borough Council. It was formerly a spa water pump house. It is located in Crown Place in the western part of Harrogate town centre, opposite the town's Valley Gardens park. It is bounded by two streets, Crescent Road and Royal Parade. Today, the Pump Room consists of both the original 1842 stone rotunda and a glazed annexe which was opened in 1913. The Pump Room offered guests of the town an all weather facility where they could drink sulphur water which was pumped on site from a natural spring known as the Old Sulphur Well. The building also had a social element to it as it provided guests with a place to meet friends and get to know others.
