Hele's School was a boys' grammar school, and latterly a comprehensive school, in the city of Exeter, Devon, England.

St David's Church, Exeter is a church in Exeter, Devon. It is a Grade I listed building.

Exeter College is a general further education college in Exeter, Devon; it was first such college in England, and is currently the highest-ranked in the country. The college has its origins in the Royal Albert Memorial Museum, founded in 1869, and first became an independent institution in 1893 as the Exeter Technical and University Extension College. After using various different sites, the college's preceding institution moved into its present main campus in 1959, and was established in its present form as the first English further education college in 1970. The majority of its present buildings were constructed from 2005 onward. The college is based around a campus at Hele Road, though owns several other sites around the city, and educates approximately twelve thousand students, including both sixteen to eighteen-year-olds and mature (adult) students. In addition, Exeter College jointly runs the specialist Exeter Mathematics School with the University of Exeter, with the college providing extra-curricular activities and pastoral support, and with students at the Maths School able to study one A.-level at the college. The tower block at the Hele Road campus, completed in 1963, is the third-tallest building in Exeter.

Exeter Central railway station is the most central of the stations in the city of Exeter, Devon, United Kingdom. It is 171 miles 30 chains (275.8 km) down the line from London Waterloo. The station is smaller than Exeter St Davids on the west side of the city. Great Western Railway manages the station and operates most services, with South Western Railway providing the rest. From 1860, when it was opened by the London and South Western Railway, until 1933, when it was rebuilt, it was known as Exeter Queen Street.

HM Prison Exeter is a category B local and resettlement men's prison, located in Exeter in the county of Devon, England. It holds men sentenced by the courts of Devon, Cornwall, Dorset and Somerset. There are also prisoners from further afield who have been transferred from other prisons. Exeter Prison is operated by His Majesty's Prison Service.

St Michael and All Angels Church, on Mount Dinham in Exeter is an Anglican church in Devon, England. It is a Grade I listed building. The church is Anglo-Catholic in tradition. The building in is the early Gothic style and was built to the designs of Major Rohde Hawkins, 1867–68. The reredos is by W. D. Caroe, 1899.Within the Parish of St David with St Michael and All Angels, the building towers above its surroundings, the spire exceeding the height of even the towers of Exeter Cathedral.

St Bartholomew's Cemetery is a cemetery in Exeter, Devon. Built in 1835-7, it is thought to be the earliest example in England of a cemetery laid out by a municipal authority or funded from public money. It is Grade II* Listed.

Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery (RAMM) is a museum and art gallery in Exeter, Devon, the largest in the city. It holds significant and diverse collections in areas such as zoology, anthropology, fine art, local and overseas archaeology, and geology. Altogether the museum holds over one million objects, of which a small percentage is on permanent public display. It is a National Portfolio Organisation under the Arts Council England administered programme of strategic investment, which means RAMM receives funding (2012–15) to develop its services. Founded in 1868, the museum is housed in a Gothic Revival building of local New Red Sandstone that has undergone several extensions during its history; most recently, the museum was re-opened on 15 December 2011 after a redevelopment lasting four years and costing £24M. Since its re-opening the museum has received numerous awards.

Exeter War Memorial, also known as The Northernhay War Memorial is a war memorial in Northernhay Gardens in the city of Exeter, Devon. Designed by John Angel, it was erected by public subscription in 1923 and cost over £6,000.

The Bill Douglas Cinema Museum (formally the Bill Douglas Centre for the History of Cinema and Popular Culture) is a public museum and an academic research facility on the Streatham Campus of the University of Exeter in England. Founded in 1994 and opened to the public in 1997, the museum houses one of Britain's largest public collections of books, prints, artefacts and ephemera relating to the history and prehistory of cinema. The museum has two galleries of exhibits which are open to the public. There is a reading room for researchers to access and consult materials from the collection by appointment. The museum is named after the filmmaker Bill Douglas. The collection that Douglas put together with his friend Peter Jewell founded the museum; many other donors have added to the holdings since. The museum now holds over 80,000 artefacts from the seventeenth century to the present day. There is a large collection of material on optical media prior to the invention of cinema including holdings on magic lanterns, shadow puppets, panoramas and dioramas, optical illusions and peep shows. There are also significant holdings on cinema pioneers, early and silent cinema, film stars, such as Charlie Chaplin and Marilyn Monroe, and film publicity material and merchandising up to the present day.There are also a number of filmmakers' production archives, including Bill Douglas's working papers, the Townley Cooke collection, and the archives of producer/director Don Boyd, and producers Gavrik Losey and James Mackay.

St Pancras Church is a small church situated in the middle of the Guildhall Shopping Centre in Exeter. The majority of the church dates from the thirteenth century, although the font is eleventh century. The church probably occupies the oldest Christian site in Exeter, and is usually open on weekdays. The church is designated by English Heritage as a Grade II* listed building.

Exeter Synagogue is in Synagogue Place, Mary Arches Street within the old city of Exeter, Devon, and is the third oldest synagogue in the United Kingdom. Originally built as a Sephardi synagogue for Dutch Jews trading in Exeter, it is now a synagogue of the Ashkenazi rite. Exeter Hebrew Congregation itself existed shortly prior to its construction.
