The Red Sea Mall is a shopping mall located in the northern suburb of Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The mall is located on the western side of the King Abdulaziz Road (طريق الملك عبدالعزيز) between the King Abdulaziz International Airport and the Red Sea coast. It covers approximately 242,200 square meters of built area. There is a hotel attached to it called "Elaf Jeddah". The mall's main facilities are a Danube supermarket, Sparky's Games City, Virgin Megastore and Jeddah's first cinema; the VOX cinema. The cinema has 12 halls: six standard, three gold, one Imax, one kid, and one VIP. Upon opening, it had both the biggest indoor water fountain and the largest glass covered area in Saudi Arabia. Some restaurants inside the mall include Applebee's, P.F. Chang, Texas Roadhouse, Five Guys, Shake Shack, McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, Al Baik Express, and Nando's.

Burj Almasa (formerly Diamond Tower) is a planned 93-story, 432-metre (1,417 ft) supertall skyscraper in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The tower will be primarily for residential use. Once completed it will become Saudi Arabia's second-tallest building and one of the tallest residential buildings in the world. When completed, Diamond Tower will be the only building to twist a full 360 degrees along its height. The first 12 floors will have the advantage of having a car park close to each flat; all cars will be lifted up by constructed ramps. The peak space of the tower will house 3 restaurants.

The British International School of Jeddah (also known as BISJ, The Continental School, Conti) is an international co-educational school established in 1977 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.The Continental School (officially known as the British International School, Jeddah) offers a British-style international curriculum to boys and girls from Pre-school to IB (International Baccalaureate) (approximately pre-K to Grade 12) levels. Patronage is offered by some 20 embassies. The medium of instruction is English (as well as Arabic, French and Spanish in their respective classes).

The Headquarters Business Park Tower is a 52 story office building located on the coast site of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. When completed in 2012, it became the tallest building in Jeddah, overtaking the nearby King Road Tower. The building contains offices, clinics, and restaurants. It is served by a large 11-storey parking garage and a unique heliport on the top.

Sumou Towers (formerly Lamar Towers) are a pair of skyscrapers currently under construction in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Located on Jeddah Corniche, Sumou Towers consists of two towers, the southern tower 71 floors and the northern 62 floors. The project also includes a number of commercial offices and at the same time it includes a commercial shopping center (mall) that includes the most luxurious shops and international restaurants, in addition to a sports center, spa and multiple areas for luxury. The proposal for the project was submitted by Cayan in 2008 and was approved in the same year. Construction began in 2008 and, when completed in 2024, Tower 1 will be the tallest building in Jeddah, till date, surpassing the recently completed National Commercial Bank. The development is expected to cost about $600 million. The tower was designed by Saudi Diyar Consultants. The Construction Management Service is by MIDRAR. The Lamar company is the main developer of the project and Drake & Scull Construction are the main contractors for this landmark development. The holding company has declared bankruptcy and construction on the building has stopped. There are many civil suits against the company for property sold in these buildings. Lamar is Arabic for liquid gold, which describes the reflection of the golden glass in the waters of the Red Sea. Asmo Company (100% owned by Sumou Holding Company) has acquired Sumo Towers (formerly Lamar), one of the leading projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with its prime location on the northern Corniche of Jeddah, overlooking the Red Sea. The project has been partially constructed and Asmo aims to complete the construction and development of the project.

The Mall of Arabia is a shopping mall located in Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The mall is located on the eastern side of the Medina Road and south of Makkah Road, near the King Abdulaziz International Airport. The mall has an area of 261,000 square meters. It also contains Kidzania Jeddah.

Al Jawharah Tower is a residential high-rise building in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on the Corniche Road facing the Red Sea. It is owned by DAMAC Properties.

Al-Shallal Theme Park is located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The park is often referred to as "Fakieh Poultry Farms", which is the name of the owners of the park. The park officially opened on June 28, 2005. In 2001, Fakieh Poultry Farms ranked as the 34th largest company in Saudi Arabia with over $480 million in assets and over 6000 employees.

Nigeria Airways Flight 2120 was a chartered passenger flight from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to Sokoto, Nigeria, on 11 July 1991, which caught fire shortly after takeoff from King Abdulaziz International Airport and crashed while attempting to return for an emergency landing, killing all 247 passengers and 14 crew members on board. The aircraft was a Douglas DC-8 operated by Nationair Canada for Nigeria Airways. Flight 2120 is the deadliest accident involving a DC-8 and remains the deadliest aviation disaster involving a Canadian airline.

King Abdulaziz International Airport (IATA: JED, ICAO: OEJN, colloquially referred to as Jeddah Airport, Jeddah International Airport, or KAIA), is a major international airport serving the cities of Jeddah and Mecca in Saudi Arabia, located 19 kilometres (12 mi) north of Jeddah and covering an area of 105 square kilometres (41 sq mi). The airport is the busiest in the kingdom and the third-largest by land area. It is also one of the busiest airports in the Middle East. Opened in 1981, it was built to replace the now-demolished Kandara Airport and is named after the founder of Saudi Arabia, King Abdulaziz. The airport shares its airfield with the RSAF King Abdullah Air Base, and has a royal terminal and three operational passenger terminals, including a Hajj Terminal built exclusively to handle increased traffic during the Islamic Hajj pilgrimage season. It serves as the largest hub for Saudia, the Saudi flag carrier, and as an operating base for national low-cost carriers Flynas and Flyadeal.

King Road Tower is a 34-storey office tower that is located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The tower contains the world largest advertisement LED screen making it a valued landmark for the city. The screen measures almost 10,000 sq m and was designed, built and installed by French company Citiled, a world leader in tailor-made “Media Façade” projects for integration into architecture. Citiled was the company chosen by the project initiators in view of their expertise and their prestigious past achievements (e.g. the Agbar Tower designed by architect Jean Nouvel in Barcelona, the Hermes Building in Singapore, the Cocor luxury shopping centre in Bucharest, etc.). 21 floors on the north and south façades and 16 floors on the west façade have been equipped with LED screens developed by Citiled, i.e. a total of 9,850 sq m and more than 5 million LEDs, making this structure the largest Media Façade in the world installed on an inhabited building. It took more than 6 months to produce the 10,000 sq metres of this media façade, occupying a team of around twenty engineers and craftsmen for three months during the project design phase and then 6 months for installation and testing. Citiled uses patented technological innovations and was able to develop and implement systems that are almost transparent when mounted on the façades, guaranteeing daylight for the building’s occupants and preserving visibility. The Project's main contractor was FADEN and MEP sub-contractor TECHNO - Technical Electromechanical Works Co. Ltd. .

German International School Jeddah (GISJ; German: Deutsche Internationale Schule Jeddah, DISJ; Arabic: المدرسة الدولية الألمانية في جدة) is a German international school in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.The school was established in 1975, and serves preschool through grade 12.In 2012, GISJ received an award for the best German school abroad by the government of Germany; the award was given by German president Joachim Gauck.
