The Oregon Historic District is a neighborhood in Dayton, Ohio. The Oregon District includes one of the earliest surviving combinations of commercial and residential architecture in Dayton. Examples of Dayton's architectural history from 1820 to 1915 line the brick streets and lanes in this 12 square block area. Styles range from Federal to Queen Anne. Excellent examples of late Victorian commercial and residential architecture illustrate both the entrepreneurial success and the increasing affluence of many Oregon merchants and residents. The district is populated with art galleries, specialty shops, pubs, nightclubs, and coffee houses.

Webster Station in Dayton, Ohio is one of the nine historic districts in the city. Webster Station was empty land until it was bought in 1843. Its approximate boundaries are Keowee Street to the east, Fourth Street to the south, St. Clair Street to the west, and the Great Miami and Mad Rivers to the north. Webster Station is situated north of the Oregon District and just east of Downtown Dayton. It is a popular location for urban style lofts, such as Delco Lofts and the Cannery, and has seen breweries and bars open in recent years. All are serviced by libraries of their own, save Riverside, various parts of which are geographically close to Dayton Metro Library locations, including Burkhardt, Electra C. Doren and Huber Heights.

The Eagles Building built in 1916 is an historic Fraternal Order of Eagles meeting hall-office building located at 320 South Main Street in Dayton, Ohio. It is also known as the City Mission. On November 4, 1982, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places

The 2nd Street Market is a public market in Dayton, Ohio. The market is located at the corner of Webster Street and East 2nd Street. It is Dayton's largest and oldest operating public market. In 2012, Country Living Magazine mentioned the market in its piece called “50 Things To Do This Summer in 50 States”. The market is owned and operated by Five Rivers MetroParks.

The McCormick Manufacturing Company Building is a historic structure located in Dayton, Ohio, USA. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 2, 2001.

Day Air Ballpark, formerly known as Fifth Third Field, is a minor league baseball stadium in Dayton, Ohio, which is the home of the Dayton Dragons, the Midwest League affiliate of the nearby Cincinnati Reds. In 2011, the Dragons broke the all-time professional sports record for most consecutive sellouts by selling out the stadium for the 815th consecutive game, breaking the record formerly held by the Portland Trail Blazers.The park has a total capacity of 8,200 people and opened in 2000. With two-deck seating and large skyboxes, some compare it to Triple-A fields.

The Centre City Building (formerly known as the United Brethren Building) is an historic building at 36-44 South Main Street at the corner of East Fourth Street in downtown Dayton, Ohio. It was designed by Charles Herby and built in 1904 by the F.A. Requarth Co. for the sum of $305,000 as the headquarters of the Church of the United Brethren in Christ Christian denomination. Originally 14 stories, it was the tallest building in Dayton from 1904 until 1931. A seven-story tower portion was completed in 1924, capped by a chapel for the Church, making it 21 stories total. It is considered to have been Dayton's first skyscraper.It housed the general offices of the church, and of the succeeding Evangelical United Brethren Church. It also served as headquarters to the United Brethren Publishing House.It was sold in 1975, converted to a personal residence by its owner, then sat vacant by 2012.It was purchased in 2017 by Centre City Partners LP, with plans for a $46 million renovation to include residence apartments, office spaces and retail shops.This building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 10, 1993.On Saturday, January 11, 2020, a number of the building's windows were blown out by powerful storm winds, resulting in the temporary closure of the neighboring Wright Stop Plaza, the downtown hub for the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority. At the time, the building was up for sale for more than four million dollars.On November 10, 2020, a large pane of glass from the building fell onto a nearby sidewalk, forcing barriers to be erected. The building has been vacant since the mid-2000s, changing ownership a couple of times during that period. Dayton city manager Shelley Dickstein expressed that the building may see development following completion of the renovation of the Dayton Arcade.

The Conover Building, also known as Wright Stop Plaza, is a historic structure in downtown Dayton, Ohio, United States. Constructed at the turn of the twentieth century, the Conover features a mix of architectural styles and sits at a prominent intersection, and it has been named a historic site.

The Contemporary Dayton (The Co) formerly known as the Dayton Visual Arts Center (DVAC), is a non-profit art gallery and artist resource that provides art for the community and a community for artists since 1991. It was founded by a coalition of Dayton-area artists, art supporters, and visual arts professionals who saw a need for more interaction between the public and regional artists. They believed that a vital visuals arts community is essential to the life of the community in Dayton, Ohio. The center offers art gallery talks, art exhibitions, professional development workshops, and other programs that support contemporary visual art.
