Greenwood Park Sofa, also known as Limestone Sofa, is a 2004 limestone sculpture of a couch by Robert Huff, installed in Columbus, Ohio. Formerly installed in its namesake pocket park on High Street for a decade, the artwork "became the locus for reports of public urination, intimidation and petty theft on the sidewalk and in the parking lot behind it", according to Tracy Zollinger Turner of the Short North Gazette. The work was later restored by the artist and installed outside the Cultural Arts Center in Downtown Columbus.

Waterford Tower is a 19-story high-rise building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The building was constructed in 1988, near the historical site of the junction of the Columbus Feeder Canal and Scioto River. The city's mayor at the time, Buck Rinehart, considered the project the "boldest" housing development ever built in Downtown Columbus, and that it would help the rebirth of the city's center. The work was one of the first projects in the downtown housing market after years without development, and the first high-rise, high-density residential building built downtown in 15 years.The building is considered a luxury condominium building, although units range significantly in price. In 2006, the most expensive cost around $1 million, while the least expensive were $90,000. Unlike the many offices and warehouse buildings converted for residential use, Waterford Tower was built for residential use, allowing for more amenities. Amenities include a guest suite, indoor pool and racquetball court, a sun deck, fitness center, sauna, full-time concierge, and enclosed parking. The amenities set a higher standard for living in Downtown Columbus. The tower abuts Bicentennial Park, situated just south of its fountains. The residents helped spur a change in its fountains' schedules, amid complaints of noise from play and from concerts at the park's amphitheater.Construction began in July 1986. Waterford Tower was completed in 1988 at a cost of $17 million, with 97 units. By the time of its opening, its owner was investigating building a Waterford Tower II. The building's opening gala was a significant event for the wealthy, continuing to further events, galas, and the annual Red, White and Boom parties on the Fourth of July. Despite newer luxury high-rises constructed in Downtown Columbus, Waterford Tower has maintained its prominence, still containing a crystal chandelier from the SS Normandie in the lobby, and a full-time concierge at the front desk.A ten-foot-tall steel and brass sculpture, Shamash-Light Tower I, was installed outside the building in October 1988. The work was created by Columbus artist Stephen Canneto.

John W. Galbreath Bicentennial Park is a 4.66-acre (1.89 ha) park in downtown Columbus, Ohio, United States, located at 233 Civic Center Drive. The park features a fountain, a park restaurant and a performance pavilion.Bicentennial Park was established in 1976, on the United States' 200th anniversary. It was dedicated to John W. Galbreath, an Ohio philanthropist, builder, Kentucky Derby breeder and owner of the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1945-1985.

Miranova Place is an office and condominiums complex in Columbus, Ohio. The complex was completed in 2001. It consists of Miranova Condominiums and Miranova Corporate Tower, located at 1 and 2 Miranova Place respectively. Miranova Corporate Tower is 157 ft (48 m) tall and has 12 floors, while Miranova Condominiums is 314 ft (96 m) tall and has 26 floors, making it one of the tallest residential buildings in Ohio. The buildings were designed by the architectural firm Arquitectonica and constructed in the modern architectural style.

The Rich Street Bridge is a bridge in Columbus, Ohio, United States, spanning the Scioto River and connecting downtown's Rich Street to Franklinton's Town Street. It carries U.S. Route 62 (US 62) and Ohio State Route 3 (SR 3). The bridge was completed in 2012.The bridge replaced the Town Street Bridge (1917-2009). The original eastern anchor remains, reutilized as the Prow, an observation platform in the Scioto Mile Promenade park. The site features stone benches, lanterns, and a grove of birch trees.

The Julian and Kokenge Company building, now known as the Julian, is a historic building in the River South District of Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.The 120,000 sq ft (11,000 m2) L-shaped building was constructed in two portions: the southern portion in 1921 along West Main St. and the eastern portion in 1932, extending north along Wall St. The building was the manufacturing plant of the Julian and Kokenge Co., a shoe company founded in Cincinnati in 1893. The company relocated to Columbus, constructing the building in 1921, designed by the Frank Hill Smith Co. of Dayton. The shoe company was headquartered here until shuttering in 1975. The Julian was renovated from 2014 to 2016, modifying the space into apartment units. The building's 85 percent window to wall ratio was seen as a positive for redevelopment, although a challenge while renovating: the windows were covered when the building was used as a storage facility in the 1970s. Another aspect that encouraged redevelopment was the L-shaped layout, allowing for light to all sides of the building.

Smart Columbus is an innovation organization in Columbus, Ohio. The initiative is led by the City of Columbus and the Columbus Partnership, a nonprofit organization for development in Central Ohio. Smart Columbus was founded in 2016 to utilize $50 million in grant awards toward technology, transportation, and environmental developments.

The Franklin County Government Center is a government complex of Franklin County, Ohio in the city of Columbus. The government center has included several iterations of the Franklin County Courthouse, including a building completed in 1840 and another completed in 1887. Current courthouse functions are spread out between buildings in the complex.

The Main Street Bridge in Columbus, Ohio is a 700 ft (210 m), three-span, inclined tied arch bridge over the Scioto River. The bridge is the first in North America and the fifth in the world to use an inclined single-rib-tied arch superstructure. The final cost for the bridge was $60.1 million. It carries Main Street (U.S. Route 62 and Ohio State Route 3) northwest from Downtown Columbus into Franklinton, splitting into Rich and Starling Streets just west of the bridge.

The Main Bar was a historic building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The two-story building was constructed as early as 1887, and held numerous commercial and residential uses. Its latest tenant, The Main Bar, opened around 2000 and closed in 2021. The building was demolished in October 2021.

The American Education Press Building was an office and industrial building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was designed by Richards, McCarty & Bulford in the Streamline Moderne style, with rounded corners, a flat roof, and its exterior and interior walls predominantly made from glass blocks, a new innovation in the 1930s. The building was constructed in 1936 for the American Education Press, and held publishing or printing offices from its completion until its demolition in the 1980s for additional county offices. The building had held county and state offices from the 1950s until its demolition year; toward the end of its life, the building tenants held complaints over space and maintenance issues, while architects and preservationists valued its unique design. The site now holds the 27-story Franklin County Courthouse, completed in 1991.

The Columbus City Prison was a municipal prison in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The building was constructed in 1879 in a castle-like style, designed by architect George H. Maetzel. The building served as a prison and headquarters of the Columbus Police Department until a fire demolished the structure in 1920.
