Three Cedars Solar Project

Seven Sisters Solar Project is a 22.6 MWp (20.2 MWAC) photovoltaic power station consisting of seven units dispersed across Beaver County and Iron County, Utah. The project was developed by SunEdison, built by Swinerton Renewable Energy, and completed in September 2016. The electricity is being sold to Rocky Mountain Power under seven separate 20-year power purchase agreements.

Airline flights are subsidized by the Essential Air Service program. Federal Aviation Administration records say the airport had 7,776 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2008, 5,486 in 2009 and 5,997 in 2010. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 categorized it as a non-primary commercial service airport (between 2,500 and 10,000 enplanements per year).

The Cedar Valley of Iron County, Utah, United States is a 25-mile (40 km) long valley located in the southeast of the county, against the Hurricane Cliffs which border the Cedar Mountains and the Markagunt Plateau. Cedar Valley borders the southeast of the Escalante Desert, at its north and northwest. Cedar City, Utah lies in the valley's center and east, at the foothills of the Hurricane Cliffs.

The Cedar City Temple is a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cedar City, Utah, United States. The intent to construct the temple was announced by church president Thomas S. Monson on April 6, 2013, during the church's semi-annual general conference. The temple was announced concurrently with the Rio de Janeiro Brazil Temple; at the time, the announcement brought the total number of temples worldwide to 170. It is the 17th temple to be built in Utah. On August 8, 2015, L. Whitney Clayton presided at a groundbreaking to signify the beginning of construction. A public open house was held from October 27 through November 18, 2017, excluding Sundays. The temple was dedicated on December 10, 2017 by Henry B. Eyring.In 2020, along with all the church's other temples, the Cedar City Utah Temple was closed in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Eccles Coliseum is an 8,500-seat multi-purpose stadium in the western United States, on the campus of Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah. It is the home venue of the Southern Utah Thunderbirds football team of the United Athletic Conference and track and field teams of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).The stadium also hosts the Utah Summer Games opening ceremonies and several events. Opened 57 years ago in 1967, its Hellas MatrixTurf playing field has a traditional north-south alignment at an elevation 5,800 feet (1,770 m) above sea level. The surface was natural grass until 2012.

Thunderbird Park was a baseball venue in Cedar City, Utah, United States. It was home to the Southern Utah Thunderbirds baseball team. As part of the athletic program's move to the Big Sky Conference for the 2012–2013 season, Southern Utah's baseball program was discontinued. The venue had a capacity of 500 spectators.Following the 2012 season, the baseball venue was demolished, and the area was converted to a soccer field.

America First Event Center is a 5,300-seat multi-purpose arena in Cedar City, Utah. It was built in 1985. It is home to the Southern Utah University Thunderbirds basketball, volleyball and gymnastics teams. The America First Event Center is also the centerpiece venue for the Utah Summer Games. The arena was previously known as the Centrum Arena but was renamed in 2017 as part of a naming rights deal with America First Credit Union valued at $1.5 million over 10 years.

SUCCESS Academy (Southern Utah Center for Computer, Engineering and Science Students) is an early college high school based in Cedar City, Utah, United States. SUCCESS Academy has three campuses, one located at Southern Utah University (SUU) in the Iron County School District, one at Utah Tech University in the Washington County School District.

Southern Utah University (SUU) is a public university in Cedar City, Utah. Founded in 1897 as a normal school, Southern Utah University now has over 1,800 graduates each year with baccalaureate and other graduate degrees from its six colleges. SUU offers more than 140 undergraduate and 19 graduate programs. More than 10,000 students attend SUU. SUU's 17 athletic teams compete in Division I of the NCAA and are collectively known as the Thunderbirds. SUU joined the Western Athletic Conference in July 2022.

The Utah Shakespeare Festival is a theatrical festival that performs works by Shakespeare as their cornerstone. The Festival is held during the summer and fall on the campus of Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah, United States.
