Toledo Speedway

Washington Township is one of the eleven townships of Lucas County, Ohio, United States. The 2010 census found 3,278 people in the township.

NorthTowne Square, briefly known as Lakeside Centre, was a shopping mall in Toledo, Ohio developed by Simon Property Group.The three-anchor tenant mall opened in 1981 near the Ohio-Michigan border in anticipation of a home construction boom on the Michigan side, but faced serious business problems by the early 2000s. Simon put the mall up for sale in 1999 and sold the property in 2002. The mall closed in 2005, city government acquired the building in 2011 and demolished it in 2013.In 2021, the City of Toledo announced the site would be sold to NorthPoint Development with intentions to build a $70 million industrial park with a spring 2022 groundbreaking.

Point Place is a neighborhood in North Toledo, Ohio. Point Place was originally part of Washington Township, Lucas County in the 1800s, and was annexed into the city of Toledo, Ohio in 1937. Point Place is surrounded by the Ottawa River, Lake Erie, the Maumee Bay and the Maumee River.

The Toledo Correctional Institution (ToCI) is a state prison for men located in Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio, owned and operated by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. The facility was opened in 2000, and houses approximately 750 maximum security inmates. The Toledo Correctional Institution houses Protective Custody inmates Level 3 and above, Level 4 offenders, and ERH1, ERH2, and ERH 3 level inmates. ERH is the highest security levels in Ohio.

Lucas County is a county located in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Ohio. It is bordered to the east by Lake Erie, and to the southeast by the Maumee River, which runs to the lake. As of the 2020 census, the population was 431,279. Its county seat and largest city is Toledo, located at the mouth of the Maumee River on the lake. The county was named for Robert Lucas, 12th governor of Ohio, in 1835 during his second term. Its establishment provoked the Toledo War conflict with the Michigan Territory, which claimed some of its area. Lucas County is the central county of the Toledo Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Calvin M. Woodward High School is a public high school located in the north side of Toledo, Ohio, that was built in 1928. It was named after an early advocate for vocational education. The original Woodward Technical High School was located in the former Central High School building at the corner of Adams and Michigan streets (the current site of the Lucas County Main Library) before the present location was chosen. Woodward is part of the Toledo City School District. The Woodward Polar Bears wear blue and white for athletics and either chose their nickname because they are located in the north end of Toledo, or because former principal Charles LaRue named them after his alma mater at Ohio Northern University. Woodward is a charter member of the Toledo City League from 1926. From 1923-1932, Woodward played Libbey High School in a football game on Thanksgiving Day until Libbey and DeVilbiss High School became the annual matchup. In April 1937, the High School displayed a Tesla Coil formerly owned by Nikola Tesla to the public, which they had acquired for educational purposes.In 2010, the building that Woodward's neighborhood had called home since 1928 was replaced by a newer facility located on the same property.The TPS board approved a resolution in November 2013 to have new stadiums built at Woodward and Scott High School after their previous facilities were torn down during construction and renovation. They were built in time for the 2014 season. Woodward's previous stadium had been dedicated in 1969 after they had gone without one since the 1930s.Mr. Jack Renz is the current principal.

The Toledo Yacht Club is a private yacht club in Bay View Park, in Toledo, Ohio, located on the Maumee River, at the western end of Lake Erie.

The Ohio Theatre is located at 3114 Lagrange St in the Toledo's Polish International Village of Toledo, Ohio. Built in 1921, it is Toledo's last operating neighborhood theatre. This three-story brick and stone masonry building comprises 8,000 square feet (740 m2) and features stadium seating, the original Mighty 90 carbon arc 35mm movie projectors, and the Marr and Colton pipe organ originally installed in the razed Rivoli Theatre in downtown Toledo. The theatre has a spacious 40' by 60' thrust stage with a 10' by 20' orchestra platform. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Central Catholic High School, is a Catholic, co-educational, college prep secondary school in Toledo, Ohio. It is operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Toledo and is the largest Catholic high school in the area. CCHS was founded as Cathedral High School in 1919, with its name change in 1920. The school, which is located one mile northwest of Downtown Toledo, offers two possible degrees: honors or college prep. It has received two School of Excellence Awards and the Drug Prevention Award.

Speranza Park is a former baseball ground located in Toledo, Ohio, United States. The ground was home to the Toledo Maumees of the American Association during the 1890 season. The ballpark was located on a block bounded by Cherry Street, Frederick Street, and Franklin Avenue. The word "speranza" means "hope" in Italian. The park was reportedly named for the club owner's yacht. The team's first home game was played on May 1, 1890. The team finished a few games above .500, and 20 games back of first place, ending whatever major league hopes the club aspired to. The final home game was held on October 2, 1890.

Mercy Health - St. Vincent Medical Center was the first hospital in Toledo, Ohio and is part of Mercy Health Partners. Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center (MSVMC), established in 1855, is the critical-care regional referral and teaching center within the Mercy Health Partners system. It is one among a seven hospitals system serving Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. St. Vincent holds designations for treating high-risk mothers and babies, is a Level I Trauma Center for children & adults, and is an accredited Chest Pain Center.Through a partnership with University of Toledo Medical Center and St. Rita's Medical Center, the hospital operates both helicopter air-ambulances and ground-based critical care ambulances.

Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral is a Roman Catholic church located at 2535 Collingwood Boulevard in the Old West End of Toledo, Ohio. The cathedral is the mother church of the 122 parishes in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Toledo. This cathedral is unique architecturally in that it was designed in the Spanish Plateresque style. It was designed with Toledo's Sister City, Toledo, Spain in mind. Finished in 1931, it was built in the spirit of the great European cathedrals of the Middle Ages.
