Datu Patinggi Abang Haji Abdillah College (Malay: Kolej Datu Patinggi Abang Haji Abdillah; abbreviated as KDPAHA), colloquially referred to as Abdillah College (Malay: Kolej Abdillah), is an elite coeducational day and boarding secondary school located in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. The school is a national secondary school, a government school in which Malay is the main medium of instruction.

Petra Jaya State Mosque (Malay: Masjid Negeri Petra Jaya) is the state mosque of Sarawak, located in Petra Jaya, Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. It also known as Jamek Mosque. Beside this mosque where Bangunan Bina, Masja and Pustaka Negeri Sarawak.The mosque was opened in October 1990 by the ninth Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Azlan Shah of Perak.

State Stadium (Stadium Negeri in Malay) is a multi-purpose stadium in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 26,000 people and opened in 1989, was the largest stadium in Malaysia. The stadium hosted Sukma Games in 1990, which Sarawak won. State Stadium is located in an area of 5 hectares in Petra Jaya. Officially opened on 27 August 1983. 3 stages of construction experience. The second stage of construction was completed on 15 June 1989 while the third level with the addition of a block to be completed by 24 June 1991. The total cost of this State Stadium is RM22.6 million. The stadium can accommodate 26,000 spectators at a time. Apart from sport and football, the stadium can also be a venue for organizing the rally events, concerts, performances, meetings, courses, workshops and so on. The stadium has been used to host Sarawak FA home matches. The stadium is adjacent to the new stadium, the Sarawak Stadium. The Stadium has its own magical spirit for The 'Ngap Sayot' Team as for the record, in 2013 season, Sarawak only lost once to Kelantan in Malaysia FA Cup and draw twice to Sabah in Premier League match and Pahang in the most memorable night of Semi Final Malaysia Cup.

Wisma Bapa Malaysia (Father of Malaysia building) also known as Bangunan Tunku Abdul Rahman (Tunku Abdul Rahman Building) is the Sarawak state secretariat building housing various government departments, including the Premier's office. It is located in Petra Jaya, Kuching. Wisma Bapa Malaysia was designed to be similar to the Malaysian Houses of Parliament in Kuala Lumpur in many aspects.

The Kuching Cat Museum (Malay: Muzium Kucing Kuching) is a cat museum in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. It was founded in 1993. It is owned by the Kuching North City Hall (DBKU).

The Astana (Malay: Astana Sarawak) is a palace in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, on the north bank of the Sarawak River, opposite the Kuching Waterfront. It is the official residence of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak, the governor of Sarawak. The name is a variation of 'istana', meaning 'palace'. It was built in 1870 by the second White Rajah, Charles Brooke, as a wedding gift to his wife, Margaret Alice Lili de Windt. The palace is not normally open to the public, although the landscaped gardens are, which can be reached by a boat ride across the Sarawak River. It is part of the Kuching Heritage Trail.

Petra Jaya is a suburb of Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. This suburb was named after sixth Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Yahya Petra of Kelantan (1975-1979).

The New Sarawak State Legislative Assembly Building (Malay: Bangunan Dewan Undangan Negeri Sarawak Baru) is the current state legislative complex of Sarawak, in Kuching, Malaysia. It houses the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly, where state assemblymen from all over Sarawak meet and preside over debates and passing of laws. The complex is at the north bank of the Sarawak River in between The Astana, which is the official residence of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri (Governor) of Sarawak, and Fort Margherita. The building was officially opened by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King) of Malaysia, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin of Terengganu, on 27 July 2009, followed by the Rulers' Conference in the building complex.

Fort Margherita is an old fort constructed in 1879 by Charles Brooke, Rajah of Sarawak, situated in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. The fort is an important landmark and monument in Sarawak's history which goes back to the Brooke dynasty. The fort, built in the style of an English castle, was designed to protect Kuching from being attacked by pirates. It served as a Police Museum from 1971 before being handed over to the Government of Sarawak and now is a tourist attraction in Kuching. The fort now houses the Brooke Gallery, an exhibition showcasing the history of Sarawak under the Brooke dynasty.It is situated across the Sarawak River near The Astana, the official residence of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Sarawak, and is accessible by road. It is a 15-minute drive along Petra Jaya, or a short river cruise from Pangkalan Batu, in front of Main Bazaar on Kuching Waterfront and located next to the New Sarawak State Legislative Assembly Building. It is part of the Kuching Heritage Trail.
