Indiana's at-large congressional district

Indiana's 5th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of Indiana comprising Hamilton, Madison, Delaware, Grant, and Tipton counties, as well as the large majority of Howard County. Much of its population is located in the northern suburbs of Indianapolis, including the cities of Carmel, Noblesville, and Fishers, while other population centers include Muncie, Kokomo, Anderson, and Marion. The district is predominantly white and is the wealthiest congressional district in Indiana, as measured by median income. The district is currently represented by Republican Victoria Spartz.

Indiana ( ) is a U.S. state in the Midwestern United States. It is the 38th-largest by area and the 17th-most populous of the 50 States. Its capital and largest city is Indianapolis. Indiana was admitted to the United States as the 19th state on December 11, 1816. It is bordered by Lake Michigan to the northwest, Michigan to the north and northeast, Ohio to the east, the Ohio River and Kentucky to the south and southeast, and the Wabash River and Illinois to the west. Various indigenous peoples inhabited what would become Indiana for thousands of years, some of whom the U.S. government expelled between 1800 and 1836. Indiana received its name because the state was largely possessed by native tribes even after it was granted statehood. Since then, settlement patterns in Indiana have reflected regional cultural segmentation present in the Eastern United States; the state's northernmost tier was settled primarily by people from New England and New York, Central Indiana by migrants from the Mid-Atlantic states and adjacent Ohio, and Southern Indiana by settlers from the Upland South, particularly Kentucky and Tennessee.Indiana has a diverse economy with a gross state product of $352.62 billion in 2021. It has several metropolitan areas with populations greater than 100,000 and a number of smaller cities and towns. Indiana is home to professional sports teams, including the NFL's Indianapolis Colts and the NBA's Indiana Pacers. The state also hosts several notable competitive events, such as the Indianapolis 500, held at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Hamilton Southeastern Schools is the school district for students residing in Fishers, Indiana and portions of neighboring Noblesville, Indiana. The district consists of twelve elementary schools (K-4), four intermediate schools (5-6), four junior high schools (7-8), and two high schools (9-12). Hamilton Southeastern is home to the Hamilton Southeastern Royals and the Fishers Tigers. Hamilton Southeastern is the fastest growing school corporation in Indiana with 17,140 students in the 2008-09 school year increasing from 10,716 in 2002. Hamilton Southeastern is the 4th largest school district in Indiana. Its schools have very high ratings. Fourteen of the twenty-two schools in the district are four star schools as rated by the Indiana Department of Education. Geist Elementary School was named a 2016 Blue Ribbon School by the US Department of Education, an award only given to 329 schools nationally. The district had a 23.1% higher passing rate on the math/English combined ISTEP+ tests when compared to the state average in 2006-07. Currently the school district is in a lawsuit allegedly over not preventing bullying of one of the students that resulted in a suicide.

The Fuel Tank at Fishers Ice Arena is an arena and recreational sport facility located in Fishers, Indiana. It features two NHL size sheets of ice for hockey, figure skating, and open skating. The Fuel Tank also features a fully equipped Pro Shop. In 2012, The Fuel Tank, at that time The Forum was the home of the Indianapolis Enforcers of the Continental Indoor Football League; however, the team ceased operations after the 2012 season.

Conner Prairie is a living history museum in Fishers, Indiana, United States, which preserves the William Conner home. The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and the museum recreates 19th-century life along the White River. The museum also hosts several programs and events, including outdoor performances by the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and summer camps.

Fishers High School (FHS) is one of two high schools in Hamilton Southeastern Schools in Fishers, Indiana, United States.

Noblesville Milling Company Mill, also known as the Model Mill, is a historic grinding mill located at Noblesville, Hamilton County, Indiana. The original section was built in about 1872, and subsequently expanded to cover 1/2 a city block. It is a large brick structure, with the largest section being four stories tall. It includes a water tower built about 1903. It was originally built as a planing mill, but later converted to a grinding mill to produce flour.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

South 9th Street Historic District is a national historic district located at Noblesville, Hamilton County, Indiana. It encompasses 39 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site in a predominantly residential section of Noblesville. It developed between about 1860 and 1940, and includes notable examples of Queen Anne, Italianate, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture. Notable buildings include the Masonic Temple (c. 1914) and Adler Building (formerly First Christian Church, 1897).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Fishers is a city in Fall Creek and Delaware townships, Hamilton County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census the population was 76,794, and by 2019 the estimated population was 95,310. A suburb of Indianapolis, Fishers has grown rapidly in recent decades: about 350 people lived there in 1963, 2,000 in 1980, and only 7,500 as recently as 1990. After the passage of a referendum on its status in 2012, Fishers transitioned from a town to a city on January 1, 2015. The first mayor of Fishers, Scott Fadness, and with the city's first clerk and city council were sworn in on December 21, 2014.
