Chukchansi Park, formerly known as Grizzlies Stadium, is a city-owned baseball stadium located in Fresno, California, United States, completed in 2002 as the home for Minor League Baseball's Fresno Grizzlies. The first game was May 1, 2002. Located in downtown Fresno, it was designed to be an anchor in the rehabilitation of the area, as other commercial development is planned in the Central Business District Loop. The ballpark is also used for music concerts, motocross events, and high school football.

The Fulton Mall was a six-block corridor in downtown Fresno, California which was closed to traffic in 1964 and made into a pedestrians only mall. Despite opening to much fanfare, the downtown mall suffered from the city's suburban expansion, especially the opening of the Fashion Fair Mall six miles to the north. By the 1980s, most storefronts on the mall were empty and plans to renovate the mall were discussed. In 2017, car traffic was reintroduced to the street after most of the public art and amenities had been relocated to sidewalk areas.The mall was an early example of the design intent and masterplan-oriented thought process of shopping mall pioneer Victor Gruen, whose ideas were emulated, albeit in a modified form, across the United States. The mall is also an example of noted landscape architect Garrett Eckbo's modernist landscape design ethos.

The Azteca Theater (Teatro Azteca) is an historic Art Deco theater in the Chinatown district of Fresno, California, built by Gustavo Acosta in 1948. The theater was the first Spanish language cinema in the San Joaquin Valley, serving a growing population of Mexican-Americans in California's Central Valley. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.

The Hotel Fresno is a historic hotel located at 1241-1263 Broadway Plaza in downtown Fresno, California. It is the oldest surviving hotel in the city, built in 1912. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018.The hotel was designed by architect Edward T. Foulkes and has been described as Neoclassical in style, with elements of Second Renaissance Revival and Beaux Arts styles. Its design "was reportedly adapted from that of the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, known for its crystal-roofed garden court." The Palace Hotel was built in 1875, and was rebuilt in 1909 after destruction in the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. Architectural historian John Edward Powell describes it as having "adopted the 'caravansary' model, that is, a design around a centralized interior court or atrium lobby at first floor."The hotel closed in 1983 due to "repairs", and has remained vacant for over 39 years. Since mid-2019, the building is currently under renovation to become affordable housing for 79 families.

The Fresno County Jail is a detention center made up of three different adjacent complexes, located at 1225 M. Street, in downtown Fresno, California, operated by the Fresno County Sheriff's Department. The facility is made up of the Main Jail, the North Annex Jail, and the South Annex Jail and is connected by an underground system of tunnels providing easy and safe transportation of inmates. These tunnels also connect to the nearby Fresno County Courthouse. As of March 31, 2020, the Fresno County Jail had 2,746 inmates with 2,490 being male and 256 being female. The Fresno County Jail has recorded the highest number of deaths out of any county jail in California.The Fresno County Jail processes and secures detainees from law enforcement agencies within Fresno County along with State and Federal inmates. In addition, the Fresno County Sheriff's Department also runs a Satellite Jail located two miles away from the main facility. The maximum inmate capacity for the Main Jail is 1,101, North Jail is 1,728, South Jail is 500, and Satellite Jail is 350, for a combined maximum capacity of 3,814 inmates who are supervised by over 350 correctional officers. The South Annex Jail was built in 1947, the Satellite Jail in 1986, the Main Jail built in 1989, and the North Annex Jail built in 1993. The jail is also connected above ground to the Fresno County Sheriff's Office and is adjacent to the Fresno Police Department, Fresno U.S. Marshals field office, Fresno DEA field office, and multiple courthouses. The average number of bookings processed annually into the Jail is 42,012.

San Joaquin Light and Power Corporation Building is an historic 11-story, 52.8 m (173 ft) high-rise in downtown Fresno, California. The building was completed in 1923 for the San Joaquin Light and Power Corporation, that later became the Pacific Gas and Electric Company, by chief designer Raymond R. Shaw of the R.F. Felchlin Company. The building is the fourth tallest in the city.

The Bank of Italy building is an historic 8-story, 38 m (125 ft) mid-rise in downtown Fresno, California. The building was completed in 1918 for the Bank of Italy, that later became the Bank of America. Its chief designer was Charles H. Franklin of the R.F. Felchlin Company. The completely vacant building is the ninth tallest in the city, and is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The building was sold to the Penstar Group, a Fresno-based developer, in 2009.

The Fresno County Courthouse is an 8-story, 200-foot-tall (61 m) low-rise building at 1100 Van Ness Avenue in downtown Fresno, California that serves as the main location for the Fresno County Superior Court. Construction was completed on the building was in 1966 on the site of–and replacing–the previous neo-classical style courthouse that was completed in 1875. Architectural historian David Gebhardt said of the loss of the old courthouse to the current one, "insipid."The courthouse is connected to the Fresno County Jail underground through a system of tunnels providing easy and safe transportation of inmates.A $113 million seismic retrofit was scheduled to be completed in 2015.

The Rusitigian Building, at Fulton and Mono Streets in Fresno, California, was built in 1920 in Classical Revival style architecture. Originally built as a bus depot, it was renovated and reopened 2019 for retail and restaurant tenants. It is listed as a historic place by Fresno's Local Register of Historic Resources.

Warnors Theatre is a historic theater located in downtown Fresno, California. The 2,100-seat venue opened in 1928 as the Pantages Theater, after the name of its then owner, Alexander Pantages, and later, the Warner Theater in 1929 after it was purchased by Warner Brothers. The name was changed again in the 1960s to "Warnors" to avoid trademark issues. The theater was designed by B. Marcus Priteca, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

KJWL is a commercial radio station located in Fresno, California, broadcasting on 99.3 FM. The station airs a classic hits format and is branded as "K-Jewel 99.3 FM". Its studios are located on the Fulton Mall strip in downtown Fresno, while its transmitter is located atop the Golden State County Plaza, also in downtown.
