Euxton Villa Football Club is a football club based in Euxton, England. They are currently members of the North West Counties League Division One North and play at the Jim Fowler Memorial Ground, Euxton.

Worden Park is a large area of parkland situated on the outskirts of Leyland, a town in the borough of South Ribble, Lancashire, England. It is less than a quarter of a mile from the town centre.

Occleshaw House, also known by its address as 2 Worden Lane, is a Grade II listed building in Leyland, Lancashire. The building has been described as the site of some of the earliest houses in the village. The current structure is thought to date from the early 18th century and the local historical society has traced occupants back to 1718. It has served as a dower house, chemists, post office, printing press and doctor's surgery before becoming vacant by 2020. In 2021 a cannabis farm in the building was raided by police and in June 2023 the roof caught fire in a suspected arson attack.

St Andrew's Church is an Anglican church in Leyland, Lancashire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the Diocese of Blackburn and the archdeaconry of Blackburn. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building.

Leyland ( LAY-lənd) is a town in South Ribble, Lancashire, England, six miles (10 km) south of Preston. The population was 35,578 at the 2011 Census.The name of the town is Anglo-Saxon, meaning "untilled land".

St Mary's Catholic High School is a coeducational secondary school located in Leyland in the English county of Lancashire.It is a voluntary aided school administered by Lancashire County Council and the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Liverpool. Pupils are mostly admitted from St Anne's Catholic Primary School and St Mary's Catholic Primary School in Leyland, St Catherine's Catholic Primary School in Farington, St Mary's Catholic Primary School in Euxton and SS Peter and Pauls’ Catholic Primary School in Mawdesley.The school was established in 1957. In 1996, the school was awarded specialist status as a Technology College. On 1 September 2013, the school suffered a devastating fire that destroyed most of the school buildings and caused £15,000,000 damage. Pupils had to travel everyday to a closed school in Ribbleton until Christmas. In September 2015, the new school building was opened to pupils.St Mary's offers GCSEs, BTECs and Cambridge Nationals as programmes of study for pupils.

The County Ground is a football stadium in Leyland, Lancashire, England which is owned and operated by Lancashire County Football Association (Lancashire FA). It is the home ground of Burnley under-21s, Blackburn Rovers under-21s, Bolton Wanderers reserves and both the Lancashire FA representative team and the Lancashire FA youth team.

Wellfield Academy (formerly Wellfield High School) is a coeducational secondary school located in Leyland in the English county of Lancashire.Wellfield High School was previously awarded specialist status as a Business and Enterprise College. Today, Wellfield Academy is a Community school administered by Lancashire County Council, however, while remaining a Community School, Wellfield Academy is currently being operated by the Endeavour Learning Trust, a multi-academy trust.Wellfield Academy offers GCSEs as programmes of study for pupils.

The British Commercial Vehicle Museum displays antiquarian buses, early fire engines and other historical and commercial vehicles produced by the British manufacturing industry. The museum is located in King Street, Leyland, Lancashire on part of a site previously occupied by the Leyland Motors factory, the source of many exhibits. Funding methods include the admission charges and membership tickets. More recently, a major investment by the Heritage Lottery Fund has contributed to a major refurbishment and website redesign by local digital agency Fertile Frog. The museum is now open throughout the year, six days per week ( see website for details ). Events include Classic Vehicles, Model Makers Exhibition and the Spring Transport Show. In 2010, the museum was one of three featured on Richard Macer's BBC Four series Behind the Scenes at the Museum.

Euxton, also known as Euxton Junction, was a railway station on the Bolton and Preston Railway in Euxton, Chorley, Lancashire, England. It was opened on 22 June 1843 and closed on 2 April 1917. The line remains open between Preston and Bolton, however nothing remains of the station.

South Ribble is a borough in the county of Lancashire, England. Its council is based in Leyland. The population, at the 2011 Census, was 109,057. Notable towns and villages include Walton le Dale, Bamber Bridge, Leyland and Penwortham. It is wedged geographically between the towns of Blackburn, Lytham St Annes and Chorley and the city of Preston.
