Tabley Superior is a civil parish in the Borough of Cheshire East and ceremonial county of Cheshire in England. In 2001, it had a population of 316. The parish contains the village of Over Tabley.

Over Tabley Hall is a country house in the parish of Tabley Superior in Cheshire, England. It stands in an isolated position to the northwest of junction 19 of the M6 motorway.

Mere Old Hall is a 17th-century country house which stands to the west of the village of Mere and the junction of the A566 and A50 roads in Cheshire, England. The house was constructed in brick and stone that has been whitewashed and rendered, roofed with tiles and slates, and is in two and three storeys. Its architectural style is Regency. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. Also separately listed at Grade II are the kitchen garden walls and attached sheds.

Mere New Hall stood to the east of the village of Mere and the junction of the A566 and A50 roads in Cheshire, England. It was largely destroyed by fire in 1975. It was built in 1834 for Peter Langford Brooke to replace Mere Old Hall, the architect being Thomas Johnson of Lichfield. It was a large symmetrical house in Elizabethan style, constructed in brick and decorated with diapering. Its features included a porte-cochère, turrets, and shaped gables. However the house proved to be too large for the family and they returned to the Old Hall in 1914, letting the New Hall initially to George Smith Ollerenshaw and his wife Hannah who opened it to Belgian officers wounded in World War One. Eventually it was sold and became a country club in 1938. In 1975 most of the building was destroyed by fire, although a fragment of it remains, together with a modern extension. As of 2011 it is a golf resort and a spa.Two structures associated with the house are recorded in the National Heritage List for England as designated Grade II listed buildings. These are the stable block, and the entrance arch and gates.

Tabley House is an English country house in Tabley Inferior (Nether Tabley), some 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) to the west of the town of Knutsford, Cheshire. The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. It was built between 1761 and 1769 for Sir Peter Byrne Leicester, to replace the nearby Tabley Old Hall, and was designed by John Carr. The Tabley House Collection exists as an exhibition showcased by the University of Manchester. In the early part of the 19th century, three of Carr's rooms on the west side of the house were converted to form a single room, the gallery. After Sir Peter's death, the house was re-orientated and the main entrance moved from the south to the north front. The house and estate continued to be held by the Leicester family until the death of Lt. Col. John Leicester Warren in 1975. Under the terms of his will the house, contents and estate were offered to the National Trust, which declined the offer. The house was then acquired under the terms of the will by the Victoria University of Manchester, and the house was used as a school. Since 1988 its lease has been held by a healthcare company. The 3,600-acre (1,500 ha) estate surrounding the house was sold in 2007 to the Crown Estate. The house is symmetrical and designed in Palladian style. It is constructed in brick with stone dressings, with a large sandstone portico on the south front. On the east and west sides of the main house are pavilion wings connected to the house by curved corridors. To the west of the house is St Peter's Church, also listed Grade I, which was moved from a position adjacent to Tabley Old Hall to its present site in 1927. In the grounds are other listed buildings, including the ruins of the Old Hall. As of 2012 the ground and top floors of the main house, together with the adjacent wings, are used as accommodation for the elderly. The reception rooms of the first floor are open to the public at advertised times, and are entered by the original stairway on the south front; they contain paintings and furniture collected by the Leicester family. Some items in the collection had formerly been displayed on this floor, whilst others were moved from elsewhere in the house. The first floor may also be hired for weddings, meetings, and conferences. It is managed by a trust, which is supported by a group of Friends and by volunteers.

The ruin of Tabley Old Hall (more properly known as Nether Tabley Old Hall) is on an island surrounded by a moat in the civil parish of Tabley Inferior, about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) to the west of Knutsford, Cheshire, England. The ruin is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building, and the moated site on which it stands is a scheduled monument.

Mere is a civil parish and linear village along the old course of the A556 road in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, North West England, about 7 km (4.3 mi) south-west of Altrincham. Bucklow Hill is at its northeast end, and the Mere crossroads is at the southwest end. The village of Mere is about a mile long and has a varied stock of housing. Most houses are large and have ample gardens leading down to the lake; these are along the inner sides of a triangle formed by the A556, A50 and A5034 roads. Inside the triangle is a lake after which Mere was named, and a golf and country club.

Bucklow Hill is a village in Cheshire, England whose name originates from a slight rise in the road. It is part of the civil parish of Mere and is located at the junction of the A5034 road and the B5569 road.
