St John Plessington Catholic College (SJP) is a Roman Catholic secondary school and sixth form with academy status located in Bebington, Wirral, England. St John Plessington is in partnership with multiple other schools including St Mary's College, Wallasey in the Holy Family Multi Academy Trust.The school has close relations with the nearby primary schools, one in very close proximity (across the road) to SJP, St. John's Junior School. They are often referred to as sister schools. The pupils of St. John's make frequent visits to SJP for mass and plays and often over 70% of the pupils at St. John's will transfer to SJP for Year 7, the first year of secondary school. The primary school and SJP make good use of The Oval, a sports facility between the two schools, often using its facilities to host events such as 'sports days' and just regular use for physical education. The school is credited with the M&S savers award of 2007/08. The school was also given the lesser award of the 'Sportsmark Gold', awarded by Sport England.

The Leverhulme Memorial stands to the west of the Lady Lever Art Gallery on the junction of Windy Bank and Queen Mary's Drive, Port Sunlight, Wirral, Merseyside, England. It commemorates the life of William Lever, 1st Viscount Leverhulme, the businessman who created the factory and model village of Port Sunlight. The memorial was designed by James Lomax-Simpson, and the sculptor was William Reid Dick. It consists of an obelisk with a figure on the top, with a separate group of four figures beside it. The memorial was unveiled in 1930. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.

The Oval (sometimes referred to as the Bebington Oval and Port Sunlight) is a Municipal athletics stadium in Bebington, Merseyside and leisure centre with outdoor ski slope. The venue has played host to Tranmere Rovers F.C. reserve and ladies teams. The track is regularly used by Wirral AC and many competitions such as the Merseyside Championships take place here. The ground has an eight-lane running track which was originally paid for by Lever Brothers in the 1920s but has since undergone an upgrade. It is the home to the athletics club Wirral AC.It was featured in the film Chariots of Fire and represented the Stade Olympique Yves-du-Manoir. Some schools across the area, such as St John Plessington, use the facilities for their PE lessons

The Lady Lever Art Gallery is a museum founded and built by the industrialist and philanthropist William Lever, 1st Viscount Leverhulme and opened in 1922. The Lady Lever Art Gallery is set in the garden village of Port Sunlight, on the Wirral and one of the National Museums Liverpool.The museum is a significant surviving example of late Victorian and Edwardian taste. It houses major collections of fine and decorative art that are an expression of Lord Leverhulme's personal taste and collecting interests. The collection is strong in British 19th-century painting and sculpture, spilling over to include late 18th-century and early 20th works. There are important collections of English furniture, Wedgwood, especially jasperware, and Chinese ceramics, and smaller groups of other types of objects, such as Ancient Greek vases and Roman sculpture. The majority of objects were part of the original donation, but the collection has continued to expand at a modest rate. The museum displays mostly mixed paintings, sculpture and furniture together, and there are five period rooms recreating typical period interiors from large houses.

New Ferry is an urban area on the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, Merseyside, England. It is located on the Wirral Peninsula, with the River Mersey to the east and the town of Bebington to the west. Within the boundaries of the historic county of Cheshire, the area was developed from the early nineteenth century. The 2001 census measured the population at 5,300.

Rock Ferry High School was a secondary school located in Rock Ferry, Wirral, England.

Rock Lane was a railway station on the Chester and Birkenhead Railway in Cheshire, England. It opened in June 1846 and closed on 1 November 1862, and it consisted of two platforms (only one up to 1847). In July 1847, the railway became part of the Birkenhead, Lancashire and Cheshire Junction Railway which doubled the line, probably adding the second platform to Rock Lane at this time. In 1862, Rock Lane Station closed, to be replaced with a new station a short distance away, called Rock Ferry. In 1891, the Birkenhead And Chester Line quadrupled the track, destroying any remains of the station.

Cammell Laird 1907 Football Club is a semi-professional football club based in Birkenhead, Merseyside, England. The club are currently members of the North West Counties League Division One South and play at Kirklands.

St Peter's Church is in St Peter's Road, Rock Ferry, Birkenhead, Wirral, Merseyside, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Birkenhead, the archdeaconry of Chester, and the diocese of Chester. The church is designated by English Heritage as a Grade II listed building.

Port Sunlight is a model village in the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, Merseyside, England. It is located between Lower Bebington and New Ferry, on the Wirral Peninsula. Port Sunlight was built by Lever Brothers to accommodate workers in its soap factory (now part of Unilever); work commenced in 1888. The name is derived from Lever Brothers' most popular brand of cleaning agent, Sunlight. Port Sunlight contains 900 Grade II listed buildings, and was declared a conservation area in 1978. Port Sunlight has been informally suggested for World Heritage Site (WHS) status to protect it from development and to preserve the unique character for future generations; however, it is not yet on the current UK "tentative list" for future consideration as a WHS. In the 2001 Census, its population was 1,450.
