Larimer School

141 Mayflower Street in the Larimer neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was built circa 1885. It was added to the List of City of Pittsburgh historic designations in June 1999.

The Larimer Avenue Bridge in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a 670-foot (200 m) concrete arch bridge built in 1912. It was resurfaced in 1980 and has since deteriorated due to its age.

The Dilworth Elementary School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a historic school building, completed in April 1915. As of March 2015 it is a traditional Magnet school for pre-kindergarten through the fifth grade in the Pittsburgh Public Schools system. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The Lincoln Elementary School (also known as Pittsburgh Lincoln K-8) located in the Larimer neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is a building from 1931. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The historical marker near the front of the building on Frankstown Avenue says the following: Mary Lou Williams (1910–1981) – Famed jazz composer and pianist. A child prodigy, she grew up in this city; went to Lincoln School here, 1919–23. Played for Andy Kirk in 1930s; then arranged music for Duke Ellington and others. Major works include "Zodiac Suite" and "Mary Lou's Mass."

Saints Peter and Paul Church is a historic former Roman Catholic church in the East Liberty neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is often referred to colloquially as the "Dogma Church" because of its appearance in the climactic scene of the 1999 Kevin Smith film Dogma. The church was built in 1890–91 and was designed by Adolphus Druiding. After being badly damaged in a fire in 1909, the interior and roof were rebuilt under the supervision of architect John T. Comès and the church was rededicated in 1910. It closed in 1992 and has remained vacant since. In 1983, the church was designated as a Pittsburgh Landmark by the Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation (PHLF).

East End Brewing Company is a Pittsburgh brewery. According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, it is a "force in the local beer market." Owner Scott Smith founded the brewery after quitting his job with a consumer products company. The brewery started selling beer in December 2004. The brewery was originally located in a 4,000-square-foot (370 m2) brewery in the Homewood neighborhood of Pittsburgh's East End. In 2011, the company began pursuing a move to a 17,000-square-foot building in the nearby Larimer neighborhood, and completed that move in November of 2012. In order to finance the move, Smith sold $1,000 vouchers to customers/investors, which will be redeemable for future beer, merchandise and special access to new brews. The move was completed in November 2012. The new location will allow production to increase from 2,500 barrels brewed per year to 5,000 barrels. In 2008, it sold 700 barrels; in 2010 it sold 1,800 barrels of beer. Sales are primarily done through growlers and kegs sold to local bars. In 2010, sales were expanded to the Pittsburgh Public Market in the Strip District. As of 2010, there were 28 varieties of beer. Big Hop is the flagship beer. Specialty beer varieties include Big Hop Harvest Ale, and Gratitude barleywine. Smith delivered the bike-themed beer Pedal Pale Ale via bike trailer. Smith commemorated the enactment of a smoking ban within Allegheny County with "Smokestack" smoked porter. The brewery is closely associated with Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette cited East End Brewing as an example of Pittsburgh's superior beer culture compared to Philadelphia's. Demand for East End beer spiked after the Pittsburgh Steelers won Super Bowl XLIII. In 2012, Pittsburgh Magazine named it one of the best breweries in Pittsburgh. It is among the most popular Pittsburgh businesses on Twitter. April of 2023 brought East End's first satellite location: a taproom in the Mt. Lebanon suburb of Pittsburgh.

East Liberty station was a passenger depot for the Pennsylvania Railroad located on its Main Line in the East Liberty neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. The station existed from the mid-nineteenth century until 1963, when the last building was demolished.

Collins Township was a township in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, in the northeast part of what is now Pittsburgh. It included most of the present city east of Lawrenceville, north of Penn Avenue, and south of the Allegheny River. It was formed in 1850 from a northern portion of Peebles Township and was named for Thomas Collins, a prominent lawyer. On 30 June 1868, Collins Township along with the borough of Lawrenceville and the townships of Pitt, Oakland, Liberty, and Peebles were incorporated into Pittsburgh. The former Collins Township became wards 18, 19, and 21 of the expanded city.

Brilliant Cutoff Viaduct of the Pennsylvania Railroad located along Washington Boulevard in the Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar/Homewood neighborhoods of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It carries the Brilliant Branch, a small connector railway, and was built in 1902. It was added to the List of Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation Historic Landmarks in 2003.

Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (PTS) is a Presbyterian graduate seminary in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1794, it houses one of the largest theological libraries in the tri-state area.

Bakery Square is an open-air shopping and office development in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Larimer, adjacent to the neighborhoods of Shadyside and East Liberty in the city's East End. Bakery Square is located on 5.1 acres along Penn Avenue.

The Horse Tamers are a pair of larger-than-life sculptures in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, located at the Stanton Avenue entrance to Highland Park. They are copies after the famous Marly Horses (Chevaux de Marly) (marble, 1739-45), by sculptor Guillaume Coustou the Elder, that flank the entrance to the Champs-Élysées in Paris. The Highland Park sculptures were modeled by sculptor Giuseppe Moretti, and installed in 1900.Each depicts a youth attempting to control a rearing horse. The bronze sculptures are approximately 15 feet (4.57 m) tall, and stand upon granite bases approximately 11 feet (3.35 m) tall.The sculptures are on the City of Pittsburgh's list of designated historic landmarks.
